Because regardless of how you or I feel about his in ring work clearly WWE seem him as a value hence his push before this all came out if not for this incident he would not be fired again I said if her story is false=/=lack of evidence but with the lack of said case I believe he should have it back regardless of how I felt he did in the ring

The police don't typically release a statement saying someone is lying, that can get them in trouble.
I wouldn't take the wording to mean anymore than what it says, you'd have to get who ever investigated off the record probably to find out what they thought.

If Enzo's objective is to eventually sue WWE, then of course his lawyer would say this.
But the whole assumption that WWE fired him because he hid the investigation is based on nothing right? Like meltzer or whoever came out and said "oh i've heard this coming from backstage"
Wasn't WWE's entire statement something like "we've come to terms with Enzo's release"

I mean, WWE doesn't legally need to publicly state any reason for why they released Enzo. Meltzer is probably the most reliable source for why. It's also worth nothing that Enzo hasn't publicly stated why he was fired either, so he hasn't exactly denied the story that he was fired for hiding the investigation from WWE.
Aye fair enough but a statement from his lawyer is the best we'll likely get. This contradicts the story of him being fired because he hid the investigation from the WWE
Meltzer, while he is in the know of alot of things, is not a connected party and anything he says is a rumor.

The lawyer statement makes me think that Enzo might attempt to sue WWE, honestly. Which means we'll find out the truth at some point.
Doubt he'd be able to. Aren't all the superstars on glorified contractor terms? Like WWE can fire them willy nilly

WWE's "independent contractor" stuff doesn't have a very good track record when it comes to being challenged in court
Oh right, ah you learn something new everyday.
But in this case, surely WWE would have had backup to reasoning to fire in case of being sued. Can't see enzo suing if he did know about it months in advance and that's what the big E told him when he was getting turfed

He'll be in their Hall of Fame in less than a decade. They let a murderer and Jeff Jarrett in their HoF. They have no shame.
Really hope they don't bring him back, he was fucking intolerable. Seemed like there was a battle in WWE between people who saw him as a draw and money maker and people who hated his guts and thought he was a cancer. I would think those people would keep him from returning but who knows.
