They're also making Metropolis which is a Superman prequel starring Lois Lane and Lex Luthor. Why can't WB just give the green light to a proper Batman TV series that has a budget? Why must we endure these insane prequels and cheap CW fair?
Lol, this is the nerd version of "this Onion article actually became a real thing":
If it doesn't have Pertwee (The GOAT Alfred) what's the point.

Not that I mind, why not. But the idea is still pretty funny.
Also I don't know what Epix is.
Can't wait for the ongoing villain to be that ruby bandit from Burma.
That was the plot of Neil Gaiman's "Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?" I believe.Go full crazy and have this be Joker's origin story.
Alfred sees how awful Gotham has gotten and knows he has to become something more than a man to stop Bruce doing hookers and banging coke.
ETA - that or Alfred and co form the first Justice League.
Ra's. Vandal Savage. They could do whatever. They're also not beholden to any continuity. If they wanted to, they could just turn into a 1960s Gotham. About the only hard rule they probably have is "No Batman."I'm morbidly curious just to fight out how they shoe-horn DC Villains into this

Hello Mr. Nygma, your son surely has a penchant for mysteries and riddles.. what a cute chap

I mean it's not new ground
Alfred had a history with the Red Claw in TAs (Granted original character)
He has a disdain for the Cobblepots in The Batman animated series because knew his dad
He was involved with the League in Beware The Batman
We're never going to get a Batman TV show with the same budget and quality as GoT are we?

Batman? No.
A Wonder Woman prequel about the Amazonians battling all manner of gods and monsters? Hmmmmmm.

Maybe... idk. I'll watch the first couple of episodes. But damn... I never sat down and thought, "Boy, I'd love to see a series about Alfred before he was with the Waynes".
"Oh, look at Mr. Money Bags over here! Those things are expensive."- TTGThey're also making Metropolis which is a Superman prequel starring Lois Lane and Lex Luthor. Oh FUCK! Do this assholes! Give me an action series with a 90% women cast
You won't though won't you? Because you're bunch of cowards!
You've been talking about this for a while now. Wonder when it will finally materializeBatman? No.

But he was also ex-special ops in the animated series.
There's like 2 episodes that focus on that.
Nobody needs to ask for everything to be made.... these kinda responses are baffling
It's nice to be surprised once in awhile than going in with pre-conceived notions that it's gonna suck or there's no need for it
What's surprising about a prequel to a story we already know? I can't blame people for being sick of the Property You Are Familiar With: We Will Never Get To The Interesting Part show concept. If the part before the story was interesting it would be part of the story.
Young Joker on Pennyworth?
I want it taken to the logical conclusion of Batman beating up a bunch of old people. Either that or a lot of JrsThe show itself can be interesting
Gotham is an absolute blast and while we know where it ends, we don't really since canned it's own niche in that corner of the universe
