Dick is the leader and still Robin apparently at the start,
however he has basically got Nightwing's story already with being a cop and such.

Stoked to see what form this show ends up taking. I would guess it'll be based on the Young Animals comic as that strikes a good balance of being more accessible while still having some of the craziness and attitude of the Morrison run. Regardless, it's cool that DC is digging this deep into their catalog of cooler properties right now. Swamp Thing is gonna be insane, and Doom Patrol is my favorite superhero team out there. Eventually we're gonna get an Animal Man show. I can feel it.

There is a slight chance we will get to see Flex Mentallo in the flesh one day, maybe one day relatively soon. Imaging sitting down and...no scratch that, imagine a random person sitting down to watch some superhero shenanigans and being met with Flex, 'Muscle Mystery' and 'Hero Halo', the whole shebang. The thought alone brings me joy.

Going on on the leaked pictures, I really hope they fix Starfire hair. The choise of Anna Diop actually looks a good one but that hair is totally off. The actress actual hair just recolored would look much better.
This actually has me excited. I am crossing my fingers that the end product for this and Titans is good.
I always thought the chick from Orphan would be a perfect Crazy Jane since she's so good in that of doing different personalities that are still slightly reminisct of each other. Probably out of the pay grade for this project by now though.
Eh, Diane Guerrero is a great actor and can definitely play Crazy Jane.

It is always Fuck Niles Caulder. How many times has he fucked everyone over? Almost anytime he is leading the team its always a time bomb until things go sideways.
Isn't there a storyline when it was explained that he actually crippled the original members so they would become the Doom Patrol? Or that was retconned?

This had little hope of successful adaptation on tv (especially) or otherwise to begin with if they were planning to adapt something like Morrison, Pollack or even Way's stuff, but after Titans being revealed it's going to be shit for sure. Kelsey Grammer would be a saving grace I guess.

I think it was rectonned, but I also think they re-rectonned it that all of the DP stories still happened in some way? I don't know, I can't remember now.
One of the absolute greatest DC properties...but there's such a high degree of difficulty in writing them. Only a few have ever really pulled it off, there have been a number of dull takes on them that don't capture the bizarre magic of them at their weirdest and best.
I don't know if serial TV is the way to go here, this should probably be an arthouse film.

People are just salty that this stuff isn't going to end up on Netflix or Prime or whatever so they root for it to fail before it even starts.
I thought Robotman was gonna be full CGI? but looking like CGI enhanced? Likely sticking to the face?

I wonder how they are going to handle Rita. Morrison notably left her out of his run because her powers didn't actually make her a misfit in any real way. Giffen's run, which is underrated btw, made the smart move of tweaking her a bit, adding a gross 'is made of putty' quality to her.
It just seems weird that everything seems to be tipping its hat to the less straightforward takes on the DP(we got Larry in a coat similar to the one he wore in Way's run over a similar outfit he wore in Giffen's. Robotman has his street clothes look and awesome jacket. We got Crazy Jane and Mr. Nobody.) except for her.

Timothy Dalton has been cast as the Chief. Kelsey Grammar would have been better but this still looks miles better than the Titans so far.

See, I'd be going into Titans with the lowest possible standards so I have no worries there. This, though? Everything (other than cyborg's inclusion) sounds and looks so great. Please don't crush my hopes and dreams, DC...
