I don't know anything about the comic but the direction and cinematography looks pretty good in that trailer particularly for a Syfy show. Will check it when it comes out
Source material is too tbh. Looks faithful for better or worse.
Main character goes to a school for killers so he can train to kill Ronald Reagan. If your sold on that basic premise, which that doesn't even cover most of the comic, then your in for a good time.

The Magicians has been renewed for a 4th
12 Monkeys is getting to wrap up its story with 4 seasons.
Surprisingly even Happy! came back for a 2nd season.
Syfy has been putting out some quality shows lately, why not enjoy a series for however long it may last. Especially if it turns out to be good.

I love the comic, it's great. A little bit edgy, but it also has its tongue planted firmly in its cheek and knows it. Not sure how it'd translate to TV (and I'd like to find out if not for... region locking...)

Thanks to everyone trying to make it work for us outside the US. Trailer looks really good, very cinematic. Really liking it.
Was always interested in how an adaptation of this series would work, but looks like things are pretty damn faithful. Glad they kept the '80s SF setting intact. With this and Happy! it seems like SyFy is at the top of the heap in terms of comic book adaptations right now. I'm optimistic about this one. Been liking Remender a lot these past several years and it seems like he's nothing but enthused about the show.

He seems really happy about it. He was extremely excited when he found out Henry Rollins was going to be in the pilot.
I liked the Expanse, and this show looks good too.

If the reviews for the first couple of episodes are good you guys should really give it a shot. There's a lot of material for Syfy to turn this into a long running successful show.
There is a lot of material for the expanse as well :( I just don't trust SYFY. The expanse was the last straw for me.
I like the comic and this is looking pretty good so I'll definitely watch it. Is Marcus's actor multiracial?

That's good, would have been really stupid to cast a not latino actor for a main character that is in this day and age.
