I'm amazed they get away with what they can. Each season gets crazier and crazier in the best way.
The entire aesthetic is amazing.
They combine different era to give Gotham a unique feel(70's cars, tube tvs even some black and white, flip-phone era cells, some interiors looking like 1930's or earlier)
And all of Batman's rogues will be in their 40's before Batman is even 25.
I've always been surprised by how much I ended up enjoying this show. Glad they will get a proper ending!
I wonder if they will end the show with a scene of the bat signal,and batman looking at it from somwhere else and he looks towards the camera.
There's no way we won't actually see a full Batman imo, we already basically had Batman in the shadows(missing the ears.)

Either way, I'm glad Fox is going to give them a chance to end the show on their own terms. Would love to see the show runners get to do more with the GCPD angle at the DCU streaming service. Sorta like a Gotham Central show, with Batman not in the forefront, but operating in the background.

Nice to see this get a final season. The show may be inconsistent but it had some pretty cinematography and an interesting aesthetic. The show deserves to get a proper ending and I want to see the Batman suit.
Really glad it will get a proper ending. Already stated but while the 1st season was rough, from season 2 onwards it finds out what it wants to be and only gets better from there.
You know, if you just let him be Batman all the time then the show would be a ratings smash.

S1 starts to pick up a bit later
I suggested just 1,3,6,11,14,15,16,17 and 22 for people that absolutely don't want to finish S1.
Its completely solid after that.
seasons 2 onwards reformatting really worked much better.

Don't do this nonsense.
Gotham and AoS are both series that are on the bubble that were made fun of and considered trash in their first season yet became something great (I'm trusting Gotham fans here, I haven't watched it yet myself). The fans should be sticking together. Don't bring fanboy nonsense into this.,

Nope. Disney is buying Fox properties, meaning the movies and shows that they themselves produce. WB produces Gotham and sold it to Fox to air.
So while it won't happen, Fox could renew Gotham next year if they wanted to. The Disney deal has no impact.
Five seasons is the sweet spot for most TV shows to be honest.
Heck, Breaking Bad ended after five seasons.

Heck his head henchman Zsasz, steals every scene he is in as well.
It is but figured if people aren't digging S1 then the others are a bit more relevant.

I have a feeling that when I start watching Gotham, my reaction will end up being the same as those I recommend SHIELD to: "I thought the first season was supposed to be awful?"
This shows cinematography and art direction is one of the best I have ever seen in tv. Costumes and make up gets a nod aswell.
Honestly I thought it was enjoyable from about episode 3.
But afterwards is when it skyrocketed in every way.
Heck I remember them first talking about a joker and I was like "really....", that episode was okay but S2 rolls around,
That character is amazing
Barbara was no longer annoying
Less procedural
The big bad was very fun
Bruce stuff was better
etc

Disney is buying 21st Century Fox, not the channel named FOX. Also, Warner Brothers is producing Gotham and FOX is only airing it.
The biggest problem with the first season is they doubled the order mid-season so you get a whole lot of filler, but the closing arc is very strong and they find their footing quickly in the second.
Costuming on the show is great, love the Pyg costume from the most recent, like a comic book panel but translated to be something realistic but not goofy.
