It's a Sony title that's not one of the 4 they've highlighted. So no we won't get any updates on it.

Kadokawa don't really publish games outside of Japan do they?
I'll be surprised if ends in the MS conference. If is it the case that means the game is multiplat, almost for sure.
Thats not to say that they wont have any surprises that haven't been mentioned. Maybe its been canceled though since its afew e3's back now when it was announced.
This would constitute something different for everyone so its not really something I can say yes or no to.
GenDesign is pretty small but if they work with Sony like they did with TLG then Studio Japan would handle a lot of the tech and grunt work. They've been teasing something for months now that feels reminiscent of SotC.
I'd be surprised if we get anything outside of a "one more thing" announcement right at the end.

That would be my thought, yeah. Easier than flying the team (or Ancel) from France when they have an upcoming show in France to show it at.
Yeah, me neither tried looking it up, but their Wiki page doesn't contain much about what games they've publish. I guess it's possible From just self publish, I'm pretty sure they already do in Japan

Idk why youd have that train of thought about e3, in the past its always been about keeping leaks from leaking for a bigger impact on the day, why would Sony blow their load like that. Expect more.

They don't, Root Letter was published by PQube, God Wars by NISA, Metal Mx Xeno is NISA, etc...
Certainly makes sense. Who knows, Dreams may be there as well as the developer is European based.
The idea of the new FromSoftware multiplatform game being published by anyone esle than Bandai Namco never even crossed my mind.
For me, the only reason Bandai Namco could let go a success like Dark Souls is because they are still From's number one partner and they will publish their next IP.
Dark Souls, Dark Souls II and Dark Souls III have been major success worldwide, I really don't know why FromSoftware would go with someone esle.
Dreams is full-on first-party, though, so it's a slightly different situation. But you're right, we don't know how Sony really plans this stuff.

What people consider to be 'souls-like' now has become so much of a blanket term that that's a bit of a hard question to answer. I can say it's not going to be Demon's Souls adjacent and thats about it in terms of gameplay. You're probably not going to see another set of games that can be as tightly knit together as Demons>Dark>Blood. But its still going to be a Fromsoft game, so take that as you will.
I wanna say 50/50. I could see a December release being the shocking news Kojima alluded to.

Interesting strategy. Still hoping for maybe a reveal (they wouldn't talk about that obviously), but totally up for them Deep Dives™ into these four games.
