I've lived in Albuquerque for nearly three years now, and from my observations and experiences, it seems the main cause of the crime rate is related to our shitty police not doing their fucking job (I'm never counting on these incompetent fucks again after how they dealt my rape and assault cases.) and the lack of safety nets leading many homeless and going into crime.

You've claimed that one of the main reasons for fact number one is because of fact number two but haven't provided any evidence to support your claim but insist on insulting who are just asking you to prove it. A claim means nothing if there is no data to support it.
Now, instead of hurling snowflake insults at me and throwing me on the ignore list could you provide evidence to back up your claim. Replying that I'm ignoring the big picture isn't enough either, post some hard data.
Once I see reputable data backing you up then I'll believe it.

I like the debate or rather the points of view put fourth by several people in an npr segment i heard not too long ago. There were a couple of gun owners against the nra one of which used to be a member.

Just for the record, and I'm not here to judge anyone, but here's a November 2017 peer-reviewed article reviewing all prior articles and theories on the relationship between immigrants, crime, and sanctuary cities. It claims there is no connection between immigration and crime. It has three and a half pages of references on this topic. I quote:
