Curious, did Steven Universe gaf make it over?
New episode coming out tomorrow
Is it that time of year again?

I got into it fairly late and loved it after binging it, getting used to this new pace has been weird. I often forget it's still ongoing. Think I might wait another year+ before going on another Steven spree...

Today I was reading about the effects of wearing/not wearing bras and there were many contradictions, specially about stop wearing them. One article said it would make the boobs saggy and the other said it would make them exercise more and even grow a little.

As a victim of A-Cup Angst, would like to know if any of you girls had this experience and what expect.

As a B, I don't think it makes a difference for me except when I exercise.

The designs for the women in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 are so bad -.-
After whatever the hell I changed Sharla into trying to equip something with better stats and trying desperately to find anything decent in B.L.A.D.E.'s armor selection that wasn't the defaults and failing, I'm a bit numbed out. I can't expect anything decent from this franchise clothing design wise, may as well enjoy the ride. At least their personalities are shaping up to not be cardboard, if a franchise obviously isn't going to let up being pervy then that's all I can really ask out of it at that point. Women dressed horribly are downright uncomfortable but can at least get some shred of respect out of me for having an identity, but women who lack personality because their boobs are assumed to give them one make me feel downright apathetic. And there are a LOT of women characters out there whose only character traits are "gorl" or "horny."

Pyra's outfit is awful but at least seeing her pop this expression is hilarious.

A-cup here. Go braless as much as possible, I do think it's made them a little perkier/fuller, but I wouldn't say it's super noticeable. It's comfy as hell tho; even just for that reason I don't wear bras.

I havent even been game to touch the LCK threads
that guy has given me bad vibes forever cause a lot of his content is about "pushing the boundary"
i don't want to even deal with what defence force will arise from the "comedy is sacred" crowd

Re Louis CK: Honestly, I thought his apology was well done and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until he fucks up again. The assumption here is that he learned what he did was wrong.

As an A-cupper for most of my life until I got implants... I wish I could give you the secret of boobs but for me fat always went straight to my tummy (not even my butt or thighs).

On the bright side every single doctor I've seen since my boob job told me my breast augmentation was really well done, looks nice, and some even ask where I got it from :p.

Also on a different note... I caulked my bathtub today, by myself! :D I am so proud of myself, I even took pictures.

Yeah I don't know what more of a reply could be expected of him. But seeing as part of his charm (if you want to call it that) has always been the ability to believe him when he tells stories about being gross, that probably colors a lot of my expectations.

I'm a C cup myself(down from a DD) I like to not wear bras at home, but I have to put one on when I go out. I can tell when I don't have one one, and I feel like everyone else can too; So I get self conscience about it. Remember that breasts are mostly tissue and fat, and a some point they mostly stop developing, and the only thing that will ultimately affect them is weight gain, i.e fat. When I slimmed down in my early 20's I was a small C cup and I've gained a lot of weight recently and now I'm a large C (they have filled out a bit on the sides. Not wearing my bra has always made me feel saggier, but that just me. You could try a middle ground bra like a bralette.

Yeah, his apology is about as good as it could be. I was more talking about the comments in the thread analysing his motives for masturbating in front of women.

Does anyone else use an app to track their cycles? I feel like mine is judging me.

"Hey, did you forget to enter in your start date?"

No, it's late. It does this a lot.

"Your cycle exceeds 35 days, here is some reasons why that could be."

It's always over 35 days ya dumb app.

"You bled for 10(!) days."

Oh no... /S

You are just a glorified calendar you stupid app, why you gotta be like that? xP I've had to start tracking it because I'm not sure if there's a pattern yet (it has always seemed random) so I need at least a year's worth of data. I'm too forgetful to use a real calendar :V

I have PCOS that causes my period to go AWOL up to 6 months at a time
in my case the app wouldn't be worth the megabytes of space it takes up on my phone

Having the widget set up on my iPhone, it feels like the app is constantly teasing me ie. XX days left then to your period is 3 days late. At the same time I could go back to not using it.

What app are you using?

I just started browsing through the non-gaming hangouts and found this thread and reading through it was very uplifting since I also made the mistake of looking into That Thread about female characters the other day. So hello ladies and allies. :)

I did some research on this a couple of years back because it was getting difficult to find bras that weren't actively hurting me, but as a DD-cup I was really concerned about sagging if I wore them less/not at all. So apparently regular bras not only make no difference to sagging, but if poorly fitted they can actually cause it. Wearing one is purely an aesthetic/comfort/social expectation thing, it won't do anything for your breast health. Sports bras on the other hand are super important regardless of cup size, because the ligament that supports your breast can stretch or even tear if you exercise without proper support.

I now own, like, three regular bras and all the rest are sports bras.

I can't really afford to not wear a bra. These days I just stick exclusively to sports bras. They're easier to wash and they're more comfortable when I'm working.

I just try to remember when in the month I had my last period. It works for me. It's not that often that my period plays up, either.

I don't even get cramps that often. No, wait, don't throw things at me!

I'm similar. Though I hate when that's used against me. "oh, of course she's acting that way... it's her time of the month"

I think mine is just called Period Tracker (how original!) but I like it- I don't know if it judges you like that tho as my cycles are pretty much like clockwork.

Thanks sabrina! :D

In other good news, Nier: Automata just arrived! Can't wait to get started tonight!
Oh man, game aside (which I loved), be ready for some amazing music. The OST is soooooo good.

I'm so excited, I've heard such good things, I've managed not to get spoiled on any story so going in pretty much blind
Enjoy it, it's amazing. Be prepared to play it at least three times though to get all the main endings. I was just going to do Route A and then say "fuck it, I don't need the others" but you really really really need them.

I get bad cramps on the first day and then it mellows out. I'm bitchy the whole time I'm on my period, though. It's not like "oh, the last few days will be better!" Bleh.

I used to use Period Tracker, although I've given up now as PCOS has made mine wildly irregular. Disappear for a year and then be continuous for a year and a half kind of irregular. But at least I don't get cramps!

A year. It's so great when it's gone for a long time, honestly... but when it comes back and stays and stays and stays, I reach my wits' end. I can't take BC and my doctor's reluctant to do anything more permanent even though I am in my thirties and avowedly childfree.

But I'll be changing doctors soon so we'll see. Constantly fighting to stay ahead of the anaemia is fun too. I need those year-long breaks just to get my blood count back up.

I was horrible about tracking them, but now bc is my tracker lol.

Today I was reading about the effects of wearing/not wearing bras and there were many contradictions, specially about stop wearing them. One article said it would make the boobs saggy and the other said it would make them exercise more and even grow a little.

I don't think your bra will have much effect on you - it's not a binder so it's not going to damage breast tissue. Sagginess from not wearing one would probably only be a worry for larger cup sizes. If by "A-Cup Angst" you mean that you want them to be bigger without surgery, then I would suggest looking into birth control and exercises that work your pectoral muscles. Chest-intensive workouts increase the muscle mass that's below the fat and breast tissue, thus pushing them forward. Some female tennis players commented that the one on their serving hand side got noticeably larger than the other because of it lol.

Re Louis CK: Honestly, I thought his apology was well done and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until he fucks up again. The assumption here is that he learned what he did was wrong.

What bugged me about his apology is that he seemed to source the problem in his power over them. No. Going up to a woman in a work setting (or hell, even in a bar, or on a dating app, etc. – anywhere where she is not indicating she is receptive to your sexual advances) and asking her to watch you masturbate, asking her to suck your dick, asking her for sex, etc. IS ITSELF HARASSMENT.

You can't treat women like they're sex-dispensers. Like they exist to output sex for men and so inputting Y/N sex requests is the standard way of interacting with them. These men prioritise their own sexual gratification over anything and don't even *consider* how it might be for women to constantly have to field requests, constantly have to fend off men bugging them for sexual favours. Not even Louis CK seems to comprehend that death-by-a-thousand-cuts and the impact it has on women. Anyway, nice caulking!
