Wasn't it because he wrote an abusive email to another member of staff that he accidentally forwarded to the whole office? That's what I recall reading about at the time anyways.
They said they investigated and found "no record" That response was very fast and on the weekend. Seems pretty clear that they just looked for paper records and no proper investigation was done
So I have to ask for all the people wanting the accused dudes head.......
.....How the fuck do you know it's not a false allegation? Unless you lot have some substantial evidence besides the word of one guy, it's pretty sick what some people here are saying. Some of you making it though you watched it happen, as though this is an open and shut case.

It's certainly something, and the only piece of independent investigation we have right now. At the very least it proves that "toxic environment" is probably not true, and explains why Sony fired him.

Umm, as someone who has be put through "sexual harassment" (to put it lightly) when I was a 12 years old kid, this kind of new really makes me sick. That's all I have to say, hopefully justice would be served, because in my case, I remain silent and....whatever, I just still don't have to courage to fully "go out of the closet" with this..... I just hate the news like this.

Doubt he cares at this point. This was probably just done for his piece of mind. If anyone drags it to court it'll be them, which would end badly because you don't just put this out there without receipts. Glad he outed them. And shame on ND for not standing by him.
Rarely there is proof for sexual harassment, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
What does this guy have to gain from bullshitting? If a proper investigation is done and he lied, he's OUT of this industry for good. He's absolutely done. Not to mention the false charges he'll face and fees.

He's clearly not out to gain anything. I don't think he throw names out there without being able to back it up. This stuff can easily be proven. He can share emails and whatnot about his complaints, and how ND reacted.
What are these false charges and fees he is going to face for posting something on twitter?
Why not doing it one year ago ? Why not using this to sue ?

Even if they do not work at Sony anymore, ND and Sony as a whole should reflect on this situation and take it into consideration. Therefore they have a responsibility to ensure better practices, procedures or actions against these things should they occur again in the future. Stuff like this should not happen anywhere in a workplace or any other environment.

Where is he working now? If he had evidence and isn't working in the industry I figured he would have come out with it long ago
While I'm not out here calling for blood, it's bold of him to name that many people if this is totally fake. He has nothing to gain, could fuck his career in the future if he was to lie like this.

Fully agreed with this. Almost zero chance there's any kind of public statement but I do hope the people in charge are taking it seriously and work to prevent a situation like this from happening again and to ensure a more appropriate response.

Except, for a variety of reasons, that's very unlikely to happen.
Just looked at his Twitter, says he works at Giant Squid (ABZÛ). And going by his other tweets it appears that he was just pissed that they made it seem like he was crazy.
This is normal for victims. A lot of them just want their story to be acknowledged.

Cogburn was a trash developer anyway. He ruined one of the best multiplayer games on the market. Uncharted 2 was amazing and had a very dedicated community. Then Cogburn ruined Uncharted 3 with all the casual BS thrown into the game. After he got ripped for it, he claimed Uncharted 4 would be much more like what fans of 2 would want. In the end, he basically took a mod of Uncharted 3 MP and fused it with TLoU MP and Destiny (why do grenades recharge in an Uncharted game?) to make Uncharted 4 MP. Those of us that loved UC2 MP kept giving NaughtyDog feedback throughout the years. Time and time again we would complain about the same issues, only to have Cogburn spit in our faces. Some of my favorite gaming memories were playing UC2 MP back in high school. Some of my most aggravating gaming memories were playing UC3 MP. And some of the most boring times I've had gaming have been playing UC4 MP. It really says something about how Cogburn viewed us fans, when our #1 requested feature on forums for Uncharted 4 was to have a classic mode, and instead, months later he gives us Kill Confirmed. At some point he eventually gave us a beta for a classic mode that was only available a certain time, and after that I just stopped caring about UC4 MP. It's such a shame that UC4 has one of the best story modes ever in a game, but the MP was so average. Maybe Cogburn should have listened to us fans and the MP wouldn't have died 1 month after release...
A court of law doesn't find you innocent, they find you not guilty. There is an important distinction between the two. And just cus you're found not guilty in a criminal court, you can be found guilty in a civil court where the barrier of proof is lower. Not that it really matters here very much, as this isn't a court of any kind.
I really dislike this line of thinking, and I especially changed my stance on it when that article of those two dudes who spent 20+ years in jail for being falsely accused by someone.

And there is still a pending court case in that regards in France for that situation.
I think they also used the exact same response for both stories, unless I'm very much mistaken? Like the exact wording and everything.
