Thanks to the panel getting all excited when the new girl came I laughed so hard that my stomach hurts.
I'm really curious what's going to happen with Shion and Tsubasa, maybe we'll get some good TH drama. This season had a lot of Ami showing no interest in guys adoring her and Yuudai being a silly child, but this might be a next level kerfuffle.

I feel TH is jumping the shark. The producers are trying too hard, first Seina, now this girl, also the onsen and stuff. They're playing the sexiness card even harder than with Miwako in BGND.
On the other hand, this may be the first time I actually found Ami cute and I'm actually shocked.

But it's been waaay more enjoyable since he left, cause every episode isn't the other 5 members just shaking their head in disbelief.
The past 2 or 3 episodes have been some of my favorites. Current roster is extremely strong and should lead to some entertaining shenanigans.
While I agree that the bath scene was a bit much, everything else felt very similar to Miwako in BGND, including the bust talk.
My favorite part of the new member is that she has the potential to be very aggressive in her relationship attempts. As chill as the current season is, I think it could use some real drama.

It's just English and a couple of other languages though.
In a way it's fairer to have a Japan first vs Rest of The World later, rather than Japan + only a few countries vs Rest of The World release schedule.
They don't have any other subtitles for any of the other languages though, must be noted.

i disagree. it feels like the last month has been two guys falling in love with a rude 21yo chick but not being able to make a move... and then a male model and an icehockey chick who go on dates but are not able to make a move... its basically been like treading water. at least yuudai made a move.
I couldn't disagree more. Only thing "special" about Yuudai were his mantoddler (not even a manchild, remember shoelaces?) shenanigans. Aside from that, his moves have been inviting Ami on terrible dates. Which the two guys also did. They were trying to approach her to the best of her abilities (showing her their cool "skills", like snowboarding and singing), shaving a mustache (lol). No one officially asked her to date him, but neither did Yuudai.
As for Shion and Tsubasa, while they also haven't started dating, for various reasons, they had some really good moments, like the birthday part.

the birthday was FOUR weeks ago. dude said he was going to make a move... hasnt made a move. that temple date they went on? EPISODE NINE! we're currently at EPISODE SEVENTEEN. thats two months. holy shit. MAKE A MOVE!
and the way taka (32 yo) and shohei (30yo) seemed to fall in love with a 21yo girl with zero personalty yet were incapable of making a move was sooooo lame. taka is 32! he couldnt even tell ami he liked her when she straight up asked him. and it went on for sooo long too. and then he ended up crying about it like he loved her. wtf.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Rina-chan saw through his bullshit and dodged that bullet. Thinking back to his crying episode when he asked for another chance from the house, it was like watching a little boy cry because his mommy wouldn't buy him an ice cream cone. That's what I think every time I see his spot in the opening credits now.

Tsubasa is the best. I couldn't handle that ending. Glad Shion finally confessed though. They are both perfect.
Mayu is so sexy, I can't believe it. She's easily on par with Miwako. Oh my God.
I'm warming up on Shohey. He may not be the best-looking guy but he's confident and I like that.
Shion did the right thing. I couldn't see anyone forgive him had he 'dumped' Tsubasa for Mayu.

Maybe it's because I'm bored with the Shion x Tsubasa storyline, but I didn't care much for today's episode.
I'm glad that it seems they're going to wrap it up soon, let's move on!

If she says "no", one would think she would probably leave the house soon. If that's the case, I wonder if Shion would switch to Mayu (who would probably start some more direct approach) or leave as well.

Karuizawa, the same place as Part 1. In Japan it's airing weekly, it's not like seasons with well defined "cuts" or anything like that.
The reaction of the two other girls at dinner was priceless. They were not happy at all.
Only one episode in to part two and I just have to say Fuck Yuudai. Taka called that shit immediately "You're not just running away?" Then to go out by finally cooking a meal, is 100% him wanting to say fuck you as he runs away. He wants to be independent and can't do that in the house with all the people yelling at him to be independent and grow up lol

Aloha State was every 2-3 months, so probably similar here. I wish they could work out a deal to keep all of the Japanese version's music cues, but I'm sure that's really expensive with a Taylor Swift song every episode.
