I just realized that my need to be up to date with RLM Star Wars videos is probably the only reason I'll be seeing Solo.

Oh? Well in that case I might as well. The first two are on Netflix, even, don't have to hunt down a bluray or anything.

Well, I watched Civil War and Dr. Strange last night and I have to say, I was pretty shocked by how thoroughly I enjoyed CW. I really liked it. Definitely my second favorite Marvel movie after Winter Soldier. Strange was just okay, but MIkkelsen's serious and "Mister Doctor" was great, and the fact that he kept calling Strange Mister Doctor for a while turned it into the best joke I've heard in a Marvel movie lol.

Probably gonna rent Ragnarok tonight and go see IW tomorrow, depending on how drunk I get tonight.

The Last Jedi mentions just reminded me that it's now out on bluray and the hack frauds still have yet to announce a Plinkett review of it. It's not like TFA or Rogue One where it already feels thoroughly covered by their other content either.
Yeah it was clear TFA review didn't have a lot to critique. TLJ on the other hand is ripe for a plinkett review.

WAIT JUST ONE DARN MINUTE

The latest story arc on Half in the Bag is about the guys wanting to get Mr. Plinkett's Night Court tape and sell it for bajillions of dollars. HOWEVER, in their episode about Thor Ragnarok, you can clearly see the tape destroyed on the VCR in the foreground.

It's not the only Night Court Tape Mr Plinkett has/had. He used to have a Chinese VCR designed for bootlegging (aka selling copies), so it stands to reason that he could have had more than one copy. He already destroyed at least one of them by turning it into a magnetron bomb and using it to destroy all the hipsters' VCRs (because if he can't have a working VCR, nobody can).

Also note: That Night Court Tape seen above is smashed because Mike threw a VCR at it, when Jay told him the shocking news that they finally made a good DCEU movie.

I'm concerned for you.

Honestly, I just remembered that the Night Court Tape was destroyed at the end of the hipster storyline. I assumed that the broken one seen above was what's left of it.

Then I got curious about how long it's been sitting there without me noticing, so I hit youtube and popped open a couple of episodes that were obviously using the Plinkett's House set, and at the start of the Wonder Woman episode, an intact Night Court Tape was sitting in that same spot (until Mike hit it with a VCR).

Which means the Night Court Tape has been destroyed at least twice, and they're on at least their third copy.

And then I remembered that Mr Plinkett mentioned bootlegging. And that solves the continuity problem. Mr Plinkett could have any number of identical Night Court Tapes.

This conversation reminds me of an episode of Star Trek
That only works if you know what episode of Star Trek this conversation remind you of.

To me, this reminds me of the episode 'Shattered' from Voyager, where Voyager is trapped in a time anomaly where every part of the ship is a different season of the show, and Chakotay has to fix it all and it's an excuse to bring back old guest stars they killed off.

Are we sure this is a real episode if you aren't showing clips? You could just be saying this is a real episode when it's not.

That would remind me of the episode of Star Trek Deep Space Nine episode "Reality's Misgivings" when the crew questions what is real life or not when the crew encounters ship logs on the Defiant they recorded but have no memories of recording.

This is an alternate universe they didn't destroy it.

Anyone here actually see Faust?
Is it a fun watch or nah?

I did the same as them, saw the crazy trailer and instantly ordered it. This was many years ago so my memory isn't great, but I do recall it not living up to the trailer, at all. Worth a watch if you can get your hands on it easily, but don't go out of your way.

I've seen Rollergator. It's a good thing they didn't land on Rollergator.

It's closer to a Wheel of the Worst entry than a proper Best of the Worst movie. It's basically unwatchable. Also Joe Estevez is really sad in it and looks vaguely homeless.

How spoilery do they get for The Pit?

That's in my pile to watch in October and I like to go in as blind as possible.
