Yep, I recall them pulling the old switcheroo with Night Trap and Dragon Trap at when they announced. Of course we got both in the end.
Excited to be able to buy a physical version of VA11 HALL-A soon, though I really wish it was a Switch release instead. (They did however talk about it though...)

Nice! I won't get my hopes up for patches or DLC being included on the cartridge, though. (Still, that would be awesome if they could, since the DLC is basically unlock codes)

I can tell you IF we were to do it, the Vita probably wouldn't have that content due to the amount of work needed to rebuild the game and go through submission.
But the PS4 most likely will be complete thanks to some changes in how builds can be made.
if it means waiting a year like skullgirls so i can have kurisu then so be it but i'll more than likely just get it on PS4 because of the 1 account limitation on Vita and the need to get dlc
Makes sense. Would be great if PS4 is completen at least (and if so I'll prob get both versions but no DLC purchases for Vita).
Just glad that I have more titles that I can knock off my PSN wishlist. And finally a Phantom Breaker to come out physically! (RIP my former Xbox 360 pre-order for the fighting game thst became vaporware from the sketchy company that no one knows the whole story on...)
Personally I don't mind the long wait for a complete game. To have everything on one cartridge is worth it to me. I must be one of few
who don't mind the long wait for Skull Girls though. I doubt the guys at LRG would want to go through the blame drama again for another game so I'll take the incomplete package, since that's the likely outcome.

I don't like the fact 2064's cover is not reversible and that even purchasing two units doesn't ensure you'll get the cover you want (the black one is my favorite, the others... Not so much). I think it is stretching the whole "alt cover" thing way too much.

Noticed that all items for tomorrow are listed as shipping in December with the collector's editions being set for the middle of that month. Also, Crawl appears to have been quietly confirmed for the same date as 2064 in the product listing.
When you post a reply there's a Media button between the Image button and the + button. Click that and paste the url and it'll take care of the rest. It's used for both YouTube videos and Twitter.
LRG will be getting a LOT of my money in the next few weeks. La Mulana, VA-11 HALL-A, Phantom Breaker...

If the speculation over Phantom Breaker comes to fruition, it probably won't be until February according to Doug's message.
Man I love the 3rd cover. Kinda sucks that there's no way to chose which one to order.

Yea I love ROM but November 17 is too close to black friday for me to bother. And I was in the camp of buying 2 copies and gifting it earlier. Im barely able to buy nex machina today.

I just watched ACG's Nex Machina video on Youtube and after beating Nier Automata and immensely enjoying the boss fights it's a must buy for me. Hopefully everything goes smoothly tomorrow and I'll manage to pick up a copy.

Does that Read Only Memories release really not have a reversible cover? So you actually have to buy three copies (or most likely a convenient "triple pack" that they will offer) so you can have all different covers? That's pretty lame honestly and it's hard not to see it as just taking advantage of the collector fanbase they have. Oh well. Still very much interested in the VA-11 Hall-A release, hopefully it will come out soon.
Even funnier after Doug was complaining on Twitter that doctors make you do multiple appointments so they can milk the copays.

I'm reading in the buyers guide that 10% of the stock is kept to deal with shipping issues and that customers who miss out can contact the help desk to sort something out if possible, would this be the case with Skullgirls?
Definitely wouldn't be the only one I get, if so. VA11 HALL-A would definitely be right there with it 100%. I've also heard good things about 2064, and the cover design by kiririn51 is great, so that's a maybe too.

But charblar worked some magical monokuma magic on things and she figured out some creative solutions , and the game doesn't crash

Why? Just... Why? I'll pay $15 for the shipping for a game that won't matter if I hold or not, because it won't ship this month. Still, I can't count on the hold shipment service because it's the most unreliable service I've ever dealt with.
I'm gonna release my first (and probably last after what I've read) bunch of held games today. Pray for me
I actually have a feeling the "pre-orders" are a big reason why the Hold Item Service is so unreliable. The combination of holding releases and waiting for unreleased games probably causes a lot of mix ups.
Why they can't just sell the games when they are in stock anymore, no one knows.
I released my hold order on August the 20th. All items were in hand shortly after. The first movement on the order was the 7th November, though I had opened two support tickets prior. I already have another set of games in a hold pile which I'm a bit concerned about. If the first batch arrive soon and there are no issues with what's in the package, etc, then I'll release the second. No issues per se with extended shipping times, but communication of how the whole service runs has not been great.
If I get hit for customs fees as well I will be a sad boy.
