Hello, ERA.

In this thread, we share pictures of pizza. The idea is to post the pictures when we are eating them, but they must be real pictures. No photos from Google or from the menu. Only real pictures.

The pizza can be from chains, local places, homemade, frozen... Any pizza!

I just went to Peter Piper Pizza here in my city (a city in México). It was good for a chain pizza.

The only camera I got is on my kindle fire, and it's poo, but if you're ever in Lancaster, Ohio be sure to try Fat Cat's Pizza. Good stuff.

Damn where was this thread on Sunday when I was at Frank Pepe.

I moved to CT recently, first time I tried Frank Pepe it was amazing. Second time it was terrible, really busy that day though. I still need to try Sally's and Modern. Close to where I live, Marcos is really good. I'll take a pic best time I get it, guy that started it was a cook art Frank Pepes.

Also, Pompeos in the area is really good too.

I love Pepe's. I like how they have multiple locations in CT and one in Mass. Went to the Brookline location over the summer. Had the White Clam Pizza and the Fresh Tomato Pie. Both are my favorites.

Here is a shot of the coal fired oven with the door for loading the coal open.

This topic is apropos. I backed this project 9 months ago, and I finally received this bad boy tonight:

It's a wood pellet/charcoal/firewood out door oven that can be used for pizza or other things (bread, meats, veggies). Will make tasty use of it tomorrow!

Great topic! The wife and I recently started making our own pizzas in a wood fired oven and oh man, do they taste good.

We're still getting the hang of making our own dough and getting the toppings right to the edge without spilling onto the pizza stone once melted.

They were delicious, but the process of getting them was kinda ridiculous... and expensive.

Yoooo! That Frank Pepe love! Cool to see more Era members in the Connecticut area! :) I hit the Manchester location all the time, I love the roasted chicken topping. Nothing beats the original New Haven location though.

Also, just stating this before this thread continues: "deep dish pizza" is not pizza. It's a casserole.

I need to get myself some deep dish one of these days. New York style is great but the massive amount of cheese on a slice of deep dish makes my mouth water.

A couple of pizzas I made relatively recently. They aren't the prettiest, but they were damn tasty. The rectangular one had an especially delicious crust, but I was drunk and can't remember what I did differently. :(

They need to get the images working on the site. On mobile and on desktop, these two posts are the only ones where I can see the photos.

At my local Domino's Pizza an hour ago. $99 pesos for the large pepperoni pizza (around $5.00 USD).

Pretty decent since they changed the formula a few years ago.

None of the pictures show up for me. I want to look at pizza pictures.
yeah, imgur is still somehow bugged for me.

If i right click the picture and open it in a new tab, and then refresh the page on ERA, it shows up properly, until then it's broken links.

(using Safari on macOS ... 10.13)

Just bought a pizza oven for the back yard, been testing different dough recipes. Bad for my wasteline but who am I to let that get in the way of science?

Literally on the plan waiting on the tarmac leaving from Melbourne Australia to come back to CT for thanksgiving, and all I can think is how much I missed being able to get legit good pizza. Pepe's is gonna be a first stop for me and partner.
