Nah, not really as we don't know the results of the other timelines. I said it in the OT, but it's possible that in all 14 million timelines Star-Lord always fucks up the pull off the Gauntlet plan. And, let's be real, that's totally plausible for him.

If you didn't like all the other Marvel movie, this one won't change your mind. But if you're invested, it's incredible.
That's true. Though I feel there could have been more restraint from Nebula/Mantis in telling Quill about what went down. Strange, having seen the future, could have stopped them some way. Though he was a bit busy.
On topic. I'm seeing a surge of Batman + prep time ,in regards to infinity war, tweets lately. Scott Snyder answered "Batman" when being asked who would win in a fight between Darkseid and Thanos.
"I came here for jokes regarding things that happened in a movie I didn't see. I don't get it." FFS.
As for the movie's quality, idk your tastes. I can tell you that I've had Marvel fatigue for a while and find most of their movies mediocre. But, IW blew me the fuck away. Finally the Marvel formula was shaken up.
And in timelines where they do get the glove off, they still eventually lose somehow.
I can get jokes with things that are out of context. I don't get these though. Not a big deal. I'll watch it at some point I think.
