I fnally finished God of War and I'm watching the spoiler mode which is amazing but I would advise you that even if you think you've finished the game, if there are more things you want to explore and see and do in the world that you should do them before watching it. You will be spoiled with something that you may want to experience for yourself pretty early in the video if you go to watch after you think you've finished the game.
Seeing this for the umpteenth time made me finally actually go and look up the result of this match.

Good to know, thanks! I'll see where I'm at once I'm done with the game. If there are things I skipped for some reason, I may do a second playthrough before the Spoiler Mode (I plan on playing this a lot anyway).
Lol yes when he asked the question to the Allies, i paused immediately and went back to GOW haha
I did the exact same thing! That spoiler mode had some bomb shell revelations that make me want to start a new play though to pick up on all of those things they talked about. Cory was such a fantastic guest and his chemistry with the other allies was a joy to watch.
Having the dev of the game on the spoiler mode as kind of a post mortem on the game is such a great idea. Obviously not possible most of the time but when it can happen it's great.
Added a couple to this, but I think it could be tough to fill it out completely. Definitely need a few more people to chip in with ideas!
I think maybe it would work better as a more general E3 Fiasco. It might be too limiting for it just be Konami

Fiasconauts and Tablztop Escapaed are 2 things i never ever watched. I just found out that Fiasconauts is not a continuous story so might give it a shot. What is the best Fiasconaits out there? And also, how does it work? I dont even understand the intro with the different numbers, scenarios etc. (I never played or heard a book RPG, D&D,... of any kind so the whole concept is a big blur to me)
That video explains the basics. If you watch that it should give a basic understanding. People really liked last month's King of the Ring. I'm the one that wrote it so I'm biased but it was a lot of fun. That should make it easier. Camp Death 1 is also a really good Fiasco to start on since the premise is a Slasher movie and that's pretty easy to understand.

Just a fiy, around the 2 hour mark in the Battletech stream, Damiani talks a bit about... everything; when Sleuth is coming out (last week of May), weekend pipelines with the new Early Access Patreon tier, doing Clips, why he probably won't do a Checking Out for Battletech, that he is reviewing the Tropical Freeze port and some general Q&A about the game.
Yeah he was on the latest Easy Allies podcast talking about it, he was very early in. He was also making some weird argument about how exploring the world is enticing because of loot lol

People love loot, it's not that weird. Maybe you don't care for it (I've had my fill of loot already), but just like XP progression it works as a hook and reward for many.

The only ideas I can think of so far are in regards to their sports games and I'm not sure if those jokes would work with the gang. I'm imagining ideas like Pro Evo Soccer becoming the official sponsor of the USA team for this year's World Cup after the team failed to qualify or releasing a badly translated version of their baseball games overseas to cash in on Shohei Ohtani's popularity. Maybe add "a horrific International Track & Field injury" somewhere.
EDIT: Got one. Put a bitter employee in the audience. One who was moved from game development to security or janitor work at the fitness clubs like in the news story.

The world is fun to explore regardless of loot but the addition of loot certainly helps push me into exploring every nook and cranny before I move on.
That Mirror thing was great. I love how Kyle kept laughing at Jones take on him. Also how differently choose the weaknesses.
They should do this more often, say 4 times a year. Do a self-contained Fiasconauts special episode with a different game each time.
I think I'd go one step further and make it a generic gaming convention. That way you can do E3 style presser drama as well as general convention/fandom tropes.

The quick pitch for Fiasco is that they are acting out a movie where everything will go wrong. They don't start by creating the characters themselves, they begin by defining the character relationships and motivations using the book and build their characters on top of that.

Finished GoW on Friday and watched the Spoiler Mode after. It's my favourite one far. It was also nice to get to watch a Spoiler Mode while a game was still fresh in mind. I was still feeling the buzz from GoW (I still am). It'll be extremely hard to top it as my GOTY.

Yeah, I think last we heard is they were still doing some calculations on what that list would like in the end.
Some of the stuff they were talking about doing would require getting estimates from carpenters so that might be what's holding things up. They also want to figure out taxes. I think (hope) that we hear more about it on cup of jones on Tuesday.
