Idk if the price dropped on Pros or EB is giving more trade in credit BUT

I posted it here months ago, when I was looking for the book. After I'd received the other hardcover and read about The Regulators. I asked for advice on where to look and mentioned the hunt for a copy that was in good shape.
That's probably where you remember it from. I never posted it anywhere else, and I wasn't looking for the book until this past December.

I feel like EB has these types of deals all the time no? I'm waiting for a Spider-Man PS4 Pro edition. I'll trade in my Pro towards that for sure (unless it's ugly that is lol).
Hopefully the TCL 6 series launches here in Canada. They are delivering a great deal at the 650 price in the states. I really don't want to spend a lot on a TV when I upgrade and reading about the P605, it has pretty much the stuff I'd want at a great price.
Is this a really good deal? I'm very tempted. Is it worth the upgrade?
If you have a 4K TV, yes. 100%.
If you don't and don't plan to upgrade soon, I would say no. I upgraded to PS4 Pro at launch and waited until November 2017 to get a 4K TV. The upgrade on my new TV is extremely clear. On my old TV' the upgrade was noticeable but I would not say it was worth the price.
Thanks. I do have a 4K tv. I'm loving the HDR but i am really tempted to upgrade to pro. Especially before I finish God of War.
Was inspired by the Yakuza 6 set and bought a bunch of similarly styled dishes in Japan, lol. I have a glass shaped like a cat paw and a steel beer mug with very Japanese styling.
Consider the Vizio M55 at Costco right now. The M50 is under $700. It's very comparable to the TCL's in value.
Worth the upgrade, sure. Had one since launch; to be honest I almost prefer when games up the framerate with the extra power than push a resolution that fluctuates frames. If PS5 is not coming until 2020 that's a long way off to play on the OG PS4.

So you trade a game and they give you double credit on your edge card? Don't really know how that works but love to trade my Odyssey.
You have two options. Put it on a pre-order (pre-tax) or put it on your edge. It is highly recommended to put it in a pre-order to get a much better value. You can keep on transferring the credit to other pre-order games
If you get $60 on your trade and applied it to a pre-order, the credit will be applied before taxes unlike putting it on your edge card where it will be applied after taxes.
Worth it alone for 60fps God of War and Shadow of the Colossus.
Better performance and graphics all around plus hardware improvements if you had an old PS4 (better wifi, new controller, etc).

You have a 4K TV without a Pro? That is a goddamn shame. High resolution mode is fantastic on every game that offers it. If there is a trade in deal, go for it. Now is a good time, since the new model (quieter) Pro should be stocked everywhere.
Right?! I messed up trading all my stuff towards a pro last year (destiny version) when I should have gotten an X and then a pro now since they have more trade in deals on those.
Oh well. I'm gonna trade a couple switch games (Skyrim, rabbids) and hang onto credit for when they finally do an X deal. Figure they'll give $180-200 for an S and maybe a price drop at E3 by $50ish maybe?
When I forget about stuff I wanted to buy, I take it as a good sign that I didn't really need it if I'm able to forget it about it before even getting it.
That EB switch double trade in value is really good. Some values are posted to RFD but notable $44 for Rabbids after bump up.
Nice. The death of the Amazon.ca Visa is probably going to cost me my cheap old Death Stranding order. Something on that order is broken, it wouldn't let me change my credit card back when I got my replacement. I've bugged Amazon CS a couple times, and they're quick to say "I'll just cancel your order and you can reorder it". Supposedly they can't do a thing to actually correct the issue because the Amazon Visa is dead. Now I'm just waiting for the cards actual expiry date, hoping that changes something.
Hmm. It's an okay deal compared to Koodo. You can get it cheaper for $49 + $15 medium tab = $64/month and $0 iPhone 6.

This weekend I have to, unfortunately, move from Wind to a network that has coverage in my new location. I have an unlocked iPhone X that I'll be bringing over. Does it really matter which network I go with from here? They all seem to pretty much have the same [gross] prices. I live in a very rural area, so my choices are limited.
It's barely worth 80 now, I wonder what they'll do in Canada. lol
Is it really any PS4 for 249.99$. From what i read on RFD, it is only for the 1tb PS4.. If you trade the OG 500GB, it will be 300$.
