Amazon US isn't letting me buy the damn movie! I saw the japanese trailer when it first came out and the VA was amazing! This is the message Amazon gives me when I try to buy:

Happened to me a while ago with my visa, I had to use a different card entirely(amex). You could try removing and re-adding the card too. Don't worry about trying again, Amazon gives you the ability to cancel and won't charge you multiple times.
Quick little review about the Japanese dub, it's great. The cast is filled with veterans, none of which phone it in. It's much more subdued than the english dub. Less one liners, more serious in tone and two particular scenes
the farm scene with Joker/Harley and the giant mecha fight in the valley of hell
benefit greatly from it.
Jojo fans are going to be ecstatic when they hear Gorilla Grodd is played by Takehito Koyasu, the voice of the infamous Dio Brando. Takehito brings an intensity to Gorilla Grodd that was lacking in the English Dub, they didn't hold him back and in the action scenes he truly shines.
Koichi Yamadera was made to play Batman. His voice is perfect for the character and is a true standout, along with Wataru Takagi although not as insane as Tony Hale has a great laugh and delivers one hell of a performance as the Joker.
You can't go wrong with either dub, but make no mistake the English dub is still where the absolute madness is.

This was action figure porn, the costumes and fight scenes and dialing the anime to 11 were all great. The story is a wet butt and any time things slowed down for people to speak the imperfections on the cgi faces and muddled interpretations of the characters left me yawning until the next fight kicked in. Come for the yukata, stay for Unite Morph: My Parents are Dead.
This is the most ridiculous Batman film I've ever seen. Plot is garbage, characterization of some characters is way off (when Red Hood easily defeats Deathstroke you know the writer has no idea what he's doing) and while it looks better than the work of Polygon Pictures or the recent Berserk the animation is still ugly. Despite all that, it's fun, really, really fun, probably the best DC Animation did since Flashpoint Paradox. Still, not in the same ballpark as Under the Red Hood or TDKR.

Bolded is why i love the movie so much. It's fucking insane, out there and completely unbelievable and that's why it's one of my favorite elseworlds films.
Red Hood beating Deathstroke? The movie has fucking this.
I put this on in the background of my game night, and it was so interesting everyone wanted to stop game night and just watch this instead. It's so over the top and ridiculous. Everyone loved it.
The thing is so over the top bonkers I couldn't help but enjoy it. I lost it at the monkeys.
Heard the creators talk about it last night and the sheer insanity of it is all intentional. The robot fight at the end is a nod to japanese Spider-Man having a mech. "I just assumed all western superheroes should have giant robots when in Japan"
I watched this last night and I thought it was amazing. Batman Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. I think those complaining about plot take stuff way too seriously. I thought the movie was a lot of fun.
Woof. This movie was... not good. I was really trying to give it the benefit of the doubt but then robot castles happened. It had some interesting ideas but the good to shit ratio was way off.
Watched this yesterday and I agree that while the animation is gorgeous, the story was absolutely shite. I'd be interested in watching the film with the original dub / cut / with fansubs. Do anyone has any idea what is going on with this film?
And does the iTunes version has the original language subbed correctly?

It was proven that nothing changed with the Japanese dub. The subs are true to the original script. Only the english dub went through extensive rewrites.
