(Also, I am more than happy to add suggestions and make corrections. I will be adding more detail shortly but I must sleep because I am a baby)

I've been following Linkara nearly as long as Doug (and for longer next year or so, if Doug doesn't acknowledge his faults by then). I didn't like him as much as Doug when he started, but my growing love for comics has made me appreciate his work more and more. Admittedly, I'm still not big on superhero comics, but I watch almost every episode because I love to listen to him explain things. For most creators I just sort of tune out when my interests aren't catered to, but even now, when Linkara's branched out his reviews with Patreon requests, I still watch almost every episode.

Hi. First time posting on this site. I came here* to follow the other threads about the Channel Awesome collapse and finally/belatedly decided to register so I could post.

If it's not too late, one other suggestion to the list of ex-CA producers. It's a a guy who wasn't with CA very long, but he was there: John D Ruddy (AKA: Rud the Spud). He does cartoons about historical events. They're pretty good.

*Random info: for a while I didn't realize the site's name was two words strung together: Reset Era. I thought of it as one long word, and in my own mind pronounced it like it was some sort of pasta dish: Resetera (Reh-SUH-tare-uh. Stress on the 2nd syllable). Yeah, the actual name makes more sense....

I've got one new CA producer to research that I didn't know about even though I managed to know about some of the producers CA just didn't promote. Bloody hell, CA was useless for exposure towards the... well, I'd say "end" but it was already rotting for exposure purposes in the middle tbh.

This is great. Thanks for putting together and hopefully people will discover new folks to follow and maybe some old folks they forgot about.

We've got a couple good updates from Brad Jones as of late -

Brad & Geno's Midnight Screening review of Super Troopers 2, neither were feeling it but admit to not being fans of the original, still a great watch with a few good bits in there.

For those that may have missed this as it went up during the Channel Awesome drama, Brad does also have an excellent review for Sex and the City 3*, perhaps the most accurate of the films when it comes to capturing the TV show's characters and spirit. I found this to one to be particularly strong, recommended viewing for fans of his work.

* please note this is a porn parody review, though mostly SFW, do keep that in mind.

I think Brad mentioned at one point that the Sex & the City porn parodies were more fun to watch than the original show. I've seen neither, but if this is true that's pretty impressive. I always was under the impression that people liked Sex & the City, but I was out of the loop for lots of things.

The show? Yes. The movies? No.

Allison has a new Movie Nights up! Vulassic Park, apparently a pickle themed Jurassic Park parody? Going to watch it in a bit when i settle down for the night, looking forward to it.

This Informercialism episode from Mike Jeavons is 4 years old, but still enjoyable.
Oh, I remember this one so well. That image just stays with you. Funny enough PeanutButterGamer just did a video featuring it too.

I love the Renegade Cut episodes. This one was especially good because he's doing a 101 coverage of basic ethical theory structures, their upsides and downsides, and this was very helpful to me for understanding previous... interactions... I've had on the interwebs.

As a PhD student studying ethical philosophy I always have trouble watching these sorts of videos written by non-specialists, since so much turns out wrong. I figure scientists and people in other disciplines have a similar experience. I'm of two minds though, since I also think it's good if it prompts discussion or encourages people to look into these things.

In that Renegade Cut video, the discussion of Kantian Deontology is mostly fine. The Virtue Ethics portion has major problems since Virtue Ethics is a contemporary ethical theory that became popular in the twentieth century after being developed out of classical theorists. Plato and Aristotle were not themselves Virtue Ethicists. The main source for Virtue Ethics is actually Aristotle, Plato can not really be called one in any way. The craziest thing to me was how he titled Consequentialism, "Teleological Ethics." Teleology has nothing to do with consequentialism, I have no idea how he got this confused. Some of the critiques on all sides are pretty weaksauce too, but not out of place for the papers my first-year students write.

Sorry to get sidetracked like that, it's just what I do for a living.

Diamanda Hagan is at it again with Polar Exploration coverage.

I actually initially subscribed to Diamanda because of her coverage of the historical material behind AMC's The Terror. Here's the first video in that series:

Note, the series on the HMS Terror is very fascinatingly morbid, like the coverage of a really horrific accident, which it pretty much was.

More links and images have been added to the OP.

I know I'm probably missing some Patreon links and proper descriptions but, like I said earlier, it's still a WIP.

I've been watching a lot of Phelous reviews recently. He was actually one of my favorites back when he was still on Channel Awesome. Lost track of him when he was taken off the site. (I was completely in the dark about all of the drama involving Lupa.)

I've been trying to find this: got a link or specific quotes you think should be highlighted?
https://doubletoasted.com/show/toast-to-toast-guest-brad-jones-7-20-18/ - Discussion on Channel Awesome starts around 17:30
Took Brad off of the OP because of his recent comments regarding the CA controversy in an interview with Double Toasted.
Understandable, I do wonder if we'll see still see him on Allison's show, I believe the last time he was on was late last year.

A bunch of ex CA contributors where congratulating Brad on getting funding for another Cinema Snob Movie, so all indicates that there is no bad blood between them.
