i mean, a three person versus fighting game lends itself to crossovers.

Sad One Piece isn' the top choice, it's too popular (maybe not in the states) to not have a good fighting game. Hunter X Hunter and Jojo would be my second and third choices.

Other Admirals are more hype and have shown a lot more in comparison. There's other characters I'd use over him.
And uh, no, Caesar has a much bigger variety of moves, from suffocation, to crealing a blue flame sword, explosions w/ Gastanet, lasers, etc. And he has poison gas...
You're right, but the rule of popularity dictates they each get their own spot. DLC Sabo is the minimum they'd do I think.
Bleach would actually make a really good DBFZ-esc fighter.
Heck almost all the characters have multiple specials already out the bat.
Pretty much every character in the series has a unique fighting style.
Most Shikai forms are very different from each other.
Bleach has enough characters (useful) that they could have a base roster upwards of 20 without dupes.
And if they want to duplicate characters.
Have Base, Shikai and Bankai versions of popular characters.
But beyond what i think of the Manga which i enjoyed till after Aizens imprisonment......i really do think as a DBFZ-esc game it could be legit incredible.
Thats why its in the top 5.

One Piece, JoJo and..any other one that isn't Bleach or Naruto. Naruto already has enough fighters out there, and Bleach is Bleach.

Roughly ~37.5% of its sales are from international audiences and assuming that ratio stayed the same that means that as of 2015, where it was at 220m that would put it at ~82.5m internationally, meaning One Piece was only ~10m behind (in late 2017). It's a bit fuzzy because we don't know how many volumes have sold since Naruto ended, or it's total sales in 2017, but One Piece certainly isn't getting trounced. Not to mention it's still ongoing so that gap, if anything, is decreasing. It's less popular outside of Japan compared to Naruto, but certainly no unpopular

Yu Yu is a bit harder to explain, but it is understandable that MHA isn't at the top spot. Technically speaking, it is going to turn 4 years old this summer and we are already getting "One's Justice." As such, I wouldn't be shocked that those voting took those into account and would prefer for MHA to grow more beforehand.
Also there's a good reason why Jojo is ranked pretty high up there. Something to which I'm sure others can better explain than I can.
Yu Yu Hakusho already has an excellent game by Treasure on the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis. Sailor Moon's had dozens of games but they have almost all been the worst shit ever. I would love to see something along FighterZ quality with the sailor scouts.

Burning Blood is at least "good." It had a few balance issues, and movesets were limited, but the characters each felt unique and how you'd imagine they would fight in an arena based system. And it had some characters playable for the first time ever.
And let's not forget One Piece's very own Smash Bros game in Gigant Battle. Still one of my favorite DS games ever. Had a long story, plenty of side content, the ability to form your own crew with roles and everything, and a huge roster as well.
This is straight up wrong and is easily proven wrong by Saint Seiya alone.

Bleach literally has multiple fighting games for it, both 2D and 3D and by acclaimed developers (like Treasure). One Piece only had the shitty Grand Battle Rush games

Comparing One Piece to Naruto games, you might have a point. But One Piece has about as many "good" games as Bleach. Bleach has fewer if you don't count those that are Japan exclusive.

Wow what? haha I loved the look of HtS. Especially for a PSP game back in the late 2000s. The animations were so well done.
it's not a shonen but it is in the poll. the genre doesn't matter, anyway, it's sailor moon and we need that arcsys magic. after, or rather, probably actually equal to pokemon and dragon ball z, it's the premiere 90's anime. it deserves it

That ASW Bleach 3DS fighting game was pretty incredible.
