Hmmm I can't decide what would make the best LR MV WT team. Extreme or Majin Buu saga team. Extreme has Rose and PHY Black feeding him ki, But is severely lacking in OiaF links. Where as Majin Buu saga has OiaF for days.
Think I'll try to spend the DB WT tickets I've been saving forever and see if I get TEQ King Piccolo. If I do I think that would give the edge to extreme.

Yep! On the first free multi of the extreme cycle I could verify and attest to this!
No Shenron, two or three pods, no rainbow, SSJ2, no screen cracks... Broly, Super C17, Rosé.
I really don't like the "global is shafted!" attitude and memes, but on this very specific problem I could see myself siding with the reddit side. They can't refund the stones spent on the JPN version for a similar issue and treat it like it's nothing on the global version, this just doesn't make any sense or logic.
Not holding my breath though, there will be no compensation.
They have sufficiently flipped.
But, honestly, I'm with them. This is a worse issue than what JPN had, and yet we won't see a fraction of the compensation. I'm happy I didn't buy stones this time but if I had, and if I hadn't gotten VB/Rose, I'd be sending in refund requests right now.
Call them different versions if you want, but it's the same game, same content, so the same screw ups should be treated the same.

I'm more pissed at the utter lack of respect they gave to global in general. JP got a stone refund for showing the wrong Broly yet we might get nothing from this

Then again global had the exact same problem (Dokkaned kid buu art on the banner) and we got shit. Wasn't the 300 stones from the Kefla banner?

I think I would have respected them more if they didn't acknowledge the issue at all than this weak-ass admission and zero compensation. Yet JP got full refunds just for showing the wrong art of the character actually on the banner. It is totally a ridiculous double standard. Everyone on the reddit is getting refunds and I can't blame them.
I tried to get a refund but Google denied it for some reason. But yeah, that's horse shit. On the same banner none the less. Global getting shafted can definitely be overblown at time, but this is pretty much the straightest example of a clear double standard yet.
Man, that future trunks saga event really needs a category boost on those awakening medals. Grinding through to get a whole bunch of SS Trunks' to raise the SA of INT Trunks, and man, it blows not having the medals as guaranteed drops.
I called in to Apple support about the error and asked them to refund my last couple of in-app purchases. The guy on the phone was super understanding, said that this topic has been coming up a lot lately regarding Dokkan, and processed my refund. We had a little chat about how the popularity of the game likely makes the developers feel like they don't need to take good care of their customers and he was right on board with me the entire time.
I still feel bummed out about not pulling VB, but at least now I don't feel like I've been scammed. Good guy Apple for once.

I was very blunt and honest about it - I spent money on a banner that advertised an item that was not actually in said banner, I mentioned that the developers acknowledged and apologized for the error but did nothing to compensate players, and I told them about how every time this kind of error has happened in the past in Japan, the developers go above and beyond to make amends but never do a single thing for their global fans in similar circumstances.
He recognized the game immediately when I mentioned its name and said it's been coming up a lot, so I imagine Apple has been fielding a lot of calls about it today.

Yeah, Apple reps are generally pretty understanding when it comes to stuff like this.
I was really pleasantly surprised by how nice he was about it. We had a little back and forth about how some of these more popular app developers and popular games feel less inclined to treat their customers well because one person being upset and leaving isn't going to make a dent.

And if you look at it from a PR perspective, CSR like this would want you to stay in the Apple ecosystem. How often do you see people asking for refunds on Google and getting zilch for the exact same issue? Good guy Apple. ^^
Just got it done. Will be refunded within 24 to 48 hours. Even though I got good characters from the banners, Fuck Scamco. Them and their shitty ways of treating Global players.

I have no idea how he managed that, because I tried to bring a Hybrid Saiyans team into that event and it died in two hits. Trunks took 14000 damage.
Gohan is on the rotation (50% def boost) and they likely have orbs invested in Trunks. And they had low HP at the start of the turn and this Trunks gets an attack+def boost at the start of turn based on how low the HP is. That's how. He had insanely high defense AND +40% mitigation applied beforehand. Also it was only level 19 or 20 according to the OP.
For the google refunds you don't even have to talk to a rep. you can just request a refund on google play directly, it's automated.
So I decided to buy some more stones to do a last 3+1 multi...

Still I was looking to get STR SSJ4 Goku but can't really complain...
Also almost got the NEW STR Trunks to SA10, need 4 more levels... I spent some money on this banner but overall I got a lot of SSR, dokkan repay me of the terrible previous free banner.
Now no more stone for me, so at least one month of just gathering!
I won't even have time to do the tournament incoming.... is it next week right? If it is this weekend I can, but next i'm going married so... :P

Has anyone made a boomerang gif of the first frames of Rose's super animation to really show that Bamco is "fucking" the players?
Anyway, the main issue here is definitely the double standards. Japan clearly has a much tighter leash on these things, that's why they're so quick with stone refunds for banner art mistakes, and the 300 stones hush money when people found out about the shoddy rate business.
They must be able to exploit some loophole in Global (and of course it's harder to crack down on them because there are so many countries involved and each may have their own legislation).
The funny / sad thing is that if they actually just gave out the fabled 300 stones, people would shut up and it wouldn't make much of a difference to Bamco anyway. We just had another mega top grossing Banner (and we'll have many more because people don't change), and 300 stones don't even get anything special for most people - hell, 300 stones will melt instantly in the LR fusion banners with nothing to show for it.

I'll keep saying it: The rates are rigged. By that, I mean that we may have different rates depending on the player and different SSR pool. I noticed I've been only pulling oldass SSR these days, that is, for the few times I pulled an SSR. Going by my pull history, my SSR rate is 2.5%. I suspect older accounts and/or accounts that spent money are more likely to get shafted than newer ones.

lol yeah that tutorial is the worst.
edit: Don't worry Ghost, he's just joking because one of the tutorial screens still says that you should use dupes just as SA fodder (also, the same tutorial mentions that we should use Kais to raise SA and they use as an example... Buuhan, one of the more obvious units with a farmable SA.)
It's not just that. They want you to Dokkan 5 SSJ4 Gokus then feed 4 of them a SSJ4 Goku. Like this is the worst advice I've ever seen.

The best gift Bamco could get us for 3rd year anniversary or 250m DLs, is a reset on the Elder Kais in the baba shop.
I believe this. I've noticed some people pulling similar things in here that were part of the community on the old site and that have been playing for a while. It's not mystery that a group of players got almost nothing with the latest ticket banner and have also been getting hosed with the Dokkan fest. I legitimately think there are different player pools to make older players have worse pulls to make them spend money.
It's part of the reason rates haven't shown up yet. Dokkan is one of the last games that's required to do it, but hasn't.
