wez was such a wasted opportunity. Got our first brutha on the show and he has the personality of an eye booger. didn't really do anything note worthy while on the show other than show off his shit tier rapping skills and was just a boring addition all around.
Aloha state became a lil bit too much of a marketing show for young unknown artists.
Opening New Doors feels a lil bit more natural in that regard with the people they have

Ami, in her own way, did a pretty decent job at rejecting Taka here. I know Taka was disappointed, but there just wasn't any chemistry there, aside from the age gap.
Shion finally taking some steps forward was about time. Even though I am not sure why he isn't super into Tsuchan, she is driven, cute, outgoing and obviously into him. So weird that he put her in the friends one for so long.

These past few weeks have been too much Ami-centric. I don't like her and I wish she left. Also, Taka is a nice guy but I don't care about him trying to seduce Ami, so I'm all the more bored

Yeah, honestly I've had enough of Ami. I keep saying this but she just doesn't express any emotion.
I'll give her the stone cold rejection when visiting Taka during his injury. I guess that's a good way to let someone know to stop.

Western Netflix does this in parts, same happened with Aloha State.
Japanese Netflix does it weekly hence the talk above of eps western netflix does not have.
So, according to my calculations and that some folks here are talking about ep 15, the next eight eps should be around the corner for Western Netflix-users, right?
I have recently gotten into this show with the wide. We burned through boys and girls in the city and only have a few episodes of aloha state left.
I love this series, the commentators on the couch are hilarious (I thought it would be annoying), although I liked the younger guy from boys and girls more than the young actor in aloha state.

Overall a very emotional episode. Taka talking about his dad and Tsubasa talking with the coach were the highlights of the episode for me. There's something about Ami I find really unpleasant. She comes across as fake.

Well looks like the Ami haters got what they asked for. The new girl has to deliver, because I do not see anything happening with Seina and the two guys that are left after Tsubasa and Shion hook up finally.
Speaking of Seina, she was full-on obnoxious again today, drunk Seina is just so loud and annoying.

Glad Ami is out. Seina was annoying/arrogant/loud/whatever you want, and having her back in the show to spice things up feels like an admission of failure, imo. I want new members!

Yeah, I mean she just doesn't give a shit about anyone. She dates three guys, is forced into being honest with them (if Eric wasn't someone the other members knew, she would NOT have told him about the other guys), but still ghosts Eric after sleeping with him. So okay, not judging, you weren't committed, it's inconsiderate, but whatever. And then they hit you with that whole shit in the final three episodes.
What's worse about that whole situation, and what really shows the big problem with the Aloha State members to begin with, is that nobody fucking says anything outside of Taishi. Cheri is being shit, they saw how badly it affected Mariko, and they let Taishi handle it all on his own. Wez especially, his attitude of disinterest in general was horrible, but in this situation... Tsu-chan is royally screwed now. Personally I think she is way cuter than the new girl, but good luck beating the F-cup when she's actively going after the same guy. Shion was never looking too sure about her in the first place and here comes the Graphis Model immediately liking everything he does. Eeesh.
Ami's send-off was great. Tohei waiting for her with the flowers was so nice. However the best part was Yamasato berating her for going to the SKE48 meet-and-greet rather than seeing her friend off properly :D
