It's a pretty good season because it's pretty tight on the storytelling. Not so sprawling and trying to do too much. Carry is taking a beating so far though lol. She needs a W.

Carrie's attitude towards her sister and daughter frustrates me so much. Like hollyfuck, you fucking bitch, you are terrible mother. Just accept it, you can't take care of her. This is the worst part of this show. Makes the main character so unlikable.

I like the Russian agent, he's a real fucker. Too bad Quinn is gone as he would have been a good match.
I like how the guy on the phone called Yevgeni by his first and last name.....just like on that other show he is on heh
Damn, they went full crazy carrie at the end of the episode. Loved the flashback through all the seasons of homeland. I Loved that. wow. When she screamed I was like wow.
I swear reality and fiction are so blurred right now.
Its eerie how accurate that season was.
That was a crazy ending. Claire Danes is a staggeringly good actress. Her screams gave me legit chills. The Russian dude (who is also amazing in The Americans, a show you should all be watching), is such a stone cold bastard, I love it!
Crazy Carrie is the best Carrie. Also, what a way to ruin just introduced the twist with a preview.

Kinda dull, but nonetheless solid episode. I'm glad they're putting a pin in Carrie's home life stuff, and I'm grateful that that material this episode was handled in a way that was satisfying instead of just frustrating. There was a second there where I got worried, but I actually thought the stuff with her sister was kind of touching in the end.
That was a nice conclusion to the Maggie and Frannie storyline. I was so worried with the goddamn file Carrie stole.
So... is the show now good or something? Season 3 was okay, 4 was meh, I quit sometime during Season 5 as I felt the story was going nowhere. I've seen ads for this season and it seems like an interesting situation, but I'm not sure I want to continue with S5 and S6 before moving on to a potentially good part. Did things really improve? If so, is catching up with the previous seasons even required?
It's usually somewhat entertaining but definitely not good. Season 3 was the worst by far in my book though, while 4 and 5 were pretty decent, so I don't know. And, yeah, if you want to get back in, you kinda have to watch season 6 first.

Okay... I'll have to take your word for it, but last season was pretty dumb. :p
It's been solid. The parallels to Trump's time in 2018 are pretty crazy, especially considering what's going on currently.
Oh right, the crazy Clinton clone had taken over last year and you could tell the writers were probably freaking out because they thought Clinton would win. lol
With the goings on in real life, the president firing four cabinet members had me like "is this supposed to be a big deal?"
Yup. She's President now. You can tell they took some of the story from the headlines before filming and expanded them, to what we are actually seeing with Trump now lol
I remember she was arresting CIA people in the cliffhanger last year, so I assume firing FBI directors is just standard procedure in this universe now. lol
It's actually not. It took 10 episodes to get there. I like the domestic storyline this time over the crazy shit they had. I do miss Quinn tho.

Amazing doesn't even begin to cut it to describe this episode. Just another reason why I think Showtime is far and away the best premium channel on television.
