Description

Tips​
  • Never buy orbs.
  • Early on, farm Yondu from Heroes 1-9.
  • Use Blitz tokens on Gamora, and Arena tokens on Drax and Quake. Choose one of the two to focus on.
  • If you plan on playing long-term, the best deal you will get is on the Captain America bundle. If you want to spend any money, that is the one to get.
  • Have fun.
  • Join an alliance. Raids are essential to getting the most out of the games, and the ERACapes alliances are pretty great. ERA currently has alliances, with slots occasionally open. Ask in the Discord or this thread.
  • Assuming you still have a Facebook account, link it to the game for the 3* Daredevil.
  • Don't start level 25 Thanos raids. Just. Don't.

That's why I couldn't post in the last thread. Was just gonna say I just got JJ and was hoping to get Iron Fist then I read the tier list and see they kinda suck.

Never knew to get Yondu so early. Is there a way to level up characters you just recruited without using up all my resources?

I got a 3 Star DD who's pretty good but Crossbones is my captain, Detonate is so good.

Oh ha, dem sneaky guys.

Anyway my main team now is Spidey (4*), Crossbones, Daredevil, Wolverine and Yondu. (3*). Crossbones is a great tank, Wolverine for damage and Yondu is annoying.

For what should I use the premium currency if not on orbs? I use them some times for healing in the alliance raids but I don't know if that's a good thing to spend them on.

Who else is good to farm besides Yondu? I'm just kind of farming at random and stuck in chapter 5 in heroes and villians.

I got in on the soft launch (Canada), so I'm at level 56 and feel like I'm way ahead of everyone.

Like, I was able to easily get through the Thanos event just last night.

But I'm really enjoying the game, it's a lot of fun.

I don't usually play mobile games, but I love tactical RPGs and this looks kinda cool

How much f2p bs is there? Is there fun to be had without spending money? If I end up liking the game i'll happily throw in some cash

To be fair, the Thanos event isn't that hard. Only really difficult bit is the last mission with Strange.

There really isn't that much BS. The best characters in the game are largely easily obtainable as a F2P, with a couple of exceptions. Honestly, it's not really even worth it to spend money on the game. There's one beginning player pack featuring Captain America and a lot of currency that I would highly recommend, but other than that it's really not necessary to spend money on the game unless you really want to be number 1 in Arena or Blitz. I have been very surprised at the quality of the game.

So, the update didn't fix that weird behavior where if you use Wolverine's multi-target attack on a taunting Crossbones, it only hits Crossbones. AFAIK, other AoE attacks don't suffer from this, and Wolverine's attack works fine against other taunts. In other words, never bother using Wolverine's first special on Crossbones.

By the way, how do you guys prioritize targets? I tend to always go for Crossbones if there's one in play. Yondu and Quake are also high on my list because they can dish out serious damage but aren't very durable. And healers, of course.

I try to nuke down Crossbones right away. Cause i know the explosion move is coming if i dont take him out.

I tend to focus on Crossbones first, and then Yondu or Rocket. I eventually take out Elektra but she always gets her shot in anyway, so I don't bother to prioritize her.

Yeah, they're speedbumps, if anything, haha.

And I have enough guys I can cycle through if need be.

Can someone explain the Alliance roles?

I found the notes on FoxNext's site, but it only describes Captains as being able to promote others.

Okay, downloaded and played for 30 minutes

This is a cool game. Attack animations are superb, and it runs well. I loathe playing 95% of mobile games but I dig this

And I've already unlocked The Punisher, so that's a bonus

Turn-based mobile games >>> all other mobile games

I'm a dumbass, and didn't realize raid keys were shared. I think I launched a few raids that were lower level thinking that I was just using my own tickets. Sorry about that.

Plus she auto stealth like a mofo. I also like Nebula, OKish damage, but it helps that she hits 73 people when she goes out. All the characters with guns I been pretty disappointed with, if punisher didn't have a good single attack i would have dropped him long ago.

I started playing about a week ago and am really enjoying the game. I'm currently level 36 and looking for a more active alliance to join up with. Is there an ERA alliance that is going?

Just started playing a few days ago. Dropped the $9.99 for the Cap starter pack and really glad I did, he's awesome. Getting close to unlocking Wolverine...

Played a lot of these sorts of games before, and some of them are pretty nice, like the DC one. Gotta say though, this is the nicest one so far. Great Character selection doesn't hurt. ;)

Hope that starting 3-4 weeks late doesn't gimp my growth much.

This game clearly has a ton of potential for new character unlocks. Hope we get a lot more X-Men down the line.

Can we start an ERA Alliance?
