I'm not seeing any other explanation so maybe that's it, but it sounds like they enjoyed the Goten easter egg and tried to stretch it.

"Super AGL SSJB Vegeta Dokkan festival during the last 1/3 of April. When conditions are met he will transform into SSJB Evolution mid-battle much like previous cards utilizing this mechanic. His max level will be 120, meaning that he will not be an LR.
From May 8th there will be an Extreme Z Awakening event for the family kamehameha cards from the Broly event. Looks like when you challenge this Extreme Z Awakening event, you will start off fighting against Goten and then move onto Gohan and finally Goku depending on what level you are on."

Don't feel lonely, I got that card and a STR fat buu (one of the worst SSR in the game? totally useless).
All others were R (mostly) and SR...
Maaaan, made the mistake(?) of looking at upcoming banners past VB/Rose'.. That LR Goku/Vegeta looks kinda badass with a decent banner as well.. That or Jiren/UI banner.. 284 stones now, hoarding might be a good idea I suppose, however difficult it is when the hype posts happen tomorrow =p

All them dupes. Did end up getting two SSRs from the last three though (dupe TEQ SSJ3 Gotenks and dupe AGL Kid Bizzle).

AGL Super Vegeta gets a pretty great awakening and becomes a solid support unit.
When he awakens Super Vegeta AGL is a great support though and can link well with LR goten and trunks (if you ever get them)

Yeah, I'm never getting an LR gasha. It's been 700 days without pulling one. Now I'm saving for the LR Vegito banner and that's all.
Spend on these banners, the LR banners are much worse comparatively in terms of rates of good units. Rose/VB are 2 of the best banners this game's ever had.
I got 1 last SSR out of today's tickets. Buuhan, whom I've had rainbowed for ages. Still, 7 SSRs in all: Elder Kai, Buuhan, PHY Cooler, TEQ Cell, TEQ Gotenks, INT Hit, and INT Trollhan I think? Not too bad. Just nothing new for me unfortunately though the odds of that were slim given there were only 5 banner units I don't have.
Overall the free tickets were fine for me. Got a few new SSRs, mostly some dupe paths. A dupe Kid Buu was probably my best pull *shrug*
Banners tomorrow? Going to go for VB I think if it remains unchanged. I've got both SSJ4s (not gogeta) and Phy Gotenks so I've already got a stacked team. Might do one round of pulls on villains though to get some support... we'll see how the deals are

The Vegeta & Bulma event that ends at the end of the month is a good place to farm Elder Kai and Supreme Kai medals. I've been running stages 1 & 3, and the "?" tiles have been pretty consistently dropping them. In the last 5 runs, I've gotten 2 elder kai medals and 1 supreme kai medal.

That's a good PSA, it's what I've been doing the past day or so. Especially with a new banner coming tomorrow, people will be awakening a lot of units and the worst thing to do is run out of these medals!
that IS a good tip I always need more elder kai medals. I was considering getting PHY Kid Buu to SA10 with all the SR Buus I've pulled but they all need an elder kai to Z-Awaken so RIP
You should still be able to do summons for a week or so, but last day that we know of to get the tickets. Unless they roll out a Part 3 as a surprise, lol.

My tickets were all useless shit. I can't beat level 29 or level 30 of EZA Broly. And I don't even have enough stones left for a single multi on the new banners.

Rs should be removed from the banners. Period. Move them to the friend ones. Considering the current meta, considering the crappy SSR pool we have, they should make the following change:
-Every multi pull is a guaranted SSR. If you want to make new banners appealing, go back to the old "Limited time 30 stones for a GSSR pull" or "3+1" or even "Featured GSSR" model. But save for that, every stones banner should be GSSR. Period.
-Older meta SSR should be in the common SSR pool and no more Dokkan Fest exclusives (talking about the Ki +3, +3000atk leads)
-Move Rs from Dragon stones banner to the Friend points banner. Considering how crap 99% of the SR are, it shouldn't be a reward to pull one.

Diluting the size of the pool in general can only help at this point, especially now that Rs and SRs are functionally obsolete. There's no point in having two tiers of complete garbage units before you even get to the SSRs, some of which can be complete garbage themselves.
TLDR - Cleaning up the Rs in banners would help but at the end of the day the RNG is terrible regardless for exclusives.
I dont disagree at the end of the day it wont help with bad RNG in general but I also agree that the Rs should be in the Friend Banner. Even taking out some not all and throwing them in the Friend banner would help I think.
These are some stats from the UI goku banner from December. The RNG was AWFUL for it

While SRs are highest there are a loooot of Rs being pulled and costing more money at the end of the day then the SRs. Again it wont help with bad RNG but clean up of the Rs might make it a little better when you dont get an SSR pull or the banner exclusive pull.

In the ticket banner I got 1 SR and 4 Rs that shouldnt happen. And two of them were R Guildo thats so busted with the RNG
You see all these suggestions will improve the game but you see... Bandai likes money too much.

Also at the end of the day you're right this is a money grabbing gacha game so they wont change this noise one bit.
It doesn't remove the links just when you move around the units in a rotation instead of changing the links when you let go of that unit it happens while moving units. It does nothing but I guess you can see a unit's attack before the links come in.
It such a useless update yet they implemented it in on JP like it matters (there was also seeing the preview dokkan awaking unit which is actually nice)

Okay that makes more sense now that I look at it. I mean its a useless QoL update but for people who are big on seeing the numbers and such thats probably helpful.
It will because at least, not only it'll make the pool smaller (there's a shiton of R cards), increasing your chances to pull a SSR, but it also remove the feeling of being cheated. R units made sense at first when the meta game was about N, R, SR. When SSR were introduced, they were supposed to be top tier cards, with SR being good cards. UR happened, which meant SSR became even stronger and SR cards could become SSR. And then TUR was introduced... and the LR was introduced. In term of usefulness, SR cards replaced the R cards as the low tier ones. Heck, a lot of SSR are now SR tier regarding the current meta game. Removing R won't fix everything but it'll be a big improvement. Next will be to remove some older crap SSR and SR from the game.

Pulling a R feels like an utter waste. Heck, SR feels like a waste already. With the way the meta moved, a LOT of SSR cards were introduced, replacing SR cards in term of meta. They cant have both such a huge pool of SSR, most of them being crap, keep the R in the stone banners and keep the same banner policy. It's either you change the pool, as the meta changed too or you make your banners more fair... or even both. When I started the game, pulling an SSR felt like amazing because you knew it'd be a strong unit which you could find a use. Now pulling an SSR feels half of the time a troll because the game is basically telling you "OMG YOU PULLED AN SSR ! YOU MUST BE HAPPY RIGHT ? :)" when it's the first SSR Goku. :")
Nah, even for whales, it'd be better. Pulling a SSR, even a lame one, at least ignites the feeling that "you were close". But having 2 or 3 dead multis... pulling Rs units... that might make people ragequit the game.
Thats why I quit the game before a little while back just cause of how garbage the gacha aspect of the game was.
