Didn't Blizz say somewhere that they don't like the silence mechanic? Well maybe they shouldn't enable cards like Voidlord since the only efficient way to counter it is silence.

Cubelock is definitely broken. There's simply too many ways to pull it off. If you have voidlords or doomguards in your hand, the weapon can pull it. If theyre in your deck, Lackey can pull them. If they're about to die, Cube can spawn more of them instantly (while healing the lock). You can even copy the demons (or the cube) with Faceless.

If you can survive all of that, Gul'dan brings them all back again.

And now Godfrey deletes your board if you happen to manage to build one through defiles and hellfires xD

Even silencing isn't a hard counter, since they can still cube it or bring it back with Gul'dan and it'll have Taunt and its Deathrattle active again. It would be nice if Blizzard could "un-nerf" Tinkmaster. Having a neutral transform card as a tech option against these types of shenanigans is sorely needed.

Cubing a silenced minion bring it back unsilenced?, mind blown..........

I've never liked rogue (too complicated), but this morning I had fun with the odd rogue deck, what's going on?

Not that it would be enough to ruin the deck or anything, but it is baffling to me that Godfrey isn't a demon. He would disrupt lackey and weapon hard instead of being an easy autoinclude clear.

Just play Tempo Mage and delete them. Voidlords cant protect your face from Fireballs.
2 Spellstones, 2 Dark Pacts and Bloodreaver Guldan can though.

Cubelock doesn't really need Godfrey with 2x Hellfire and 2x Defile. Hardly used in the match-ups I've encountered the deck, it's mostly used in Controllock.

If you reach turn 10 as Tempo Mage vs Cubelock just concede. Current Tempo Mage decks are supposed to be winning by turns 6 to 8.

So we've gotten over the Shudderwock panic and gone back to hating Cubelock?

Cool.

In other news: I didn't get to check in here as the expansion went live since I had too many other things going on. Pulled six legendaries out of 107 packs, so I'm pretty happy. Except for pulling a Gunspire, I really can't see myself using it.

I crafted Baku like I thought the moment the reveal was live. I'm still laughing at all the proclamations that even/odd was DOA. Even if they don't end up being top tier decks; every odd deck I made has been fun to play. The biggest x-factor is that playing with an upgraded hero power from turn one makes it feel like there's nine new classes. (And since I never saw Justicar it really is all new to me)

Edit: Forgot to post the list of legendaries:
Hagatha (Free class legendary)
Azalina
Gunspire
Shudderwock
Prince Liam
Splintergraft
Dollmaster Dorian

Crafted Baku and Grumble (And mistakenly crafted Zola thinking I needed that to make a Shudderwock deck, doh!)

Most fun decks so far:
Odd Hunter
Shudderwock
Tempo Mage with Vex Crow
Odd Dude Pally

Have you guys faced much taunt druid yet? Cube 2.0.

Hadronox was one of my few legendaries that expansion, crafted two cubes but subbed in faceless over oakenheart for now since its pretty early to craft him just for this. I'm stuck at rank 6 getting tossed around with quest warrior and spiteful priest, cubelock is still rough.

I need to never disenchant legendaries/epics no matter how shitty. Always feel like new decks I like run these old cards. Stuff like Hadronox, level ups, garrosh, and a ton of other legendaries that ended up being fun to play.

I'm digging Even Paladin more than Odd. Always has a turn 1 play or the ability to soak up spare mana. Call To Arms is still insane. Easy to fill a board and turn them into 3/3s. Eventually I'll hit a losing streak and resent it like every other deck though.

Would you post the deck you are using? I am thinking about running that and it would help to see if I could afford it.

It's a cheap deck in the grand scheme of things. If you have a F2P mid-range hunter from last year you have most of the components. Eaglehorn feels like a bit of a waste in odd, but it's in every popular version of this deck. The candle shot is for that sweet turn 3 Marsh Drake.

I might take the "dust wild " path outside of really good cards and hope I don't regret it. The ones you mentioned though didn't seem that bad, I was happy enough to draw hadronox but then disappointed it didn't really have a place yet. I couldn't foresee the cube and witching hour interactions...gives me hope for my Moorabi and shaman leg weapon draws? Priest leg weapon draw?

I don't like odd quest warrior, switching hero powers seems to kill the odd/even benefit.

What rank is that working with 50% or better win rate? I might try making the slow minion changes and learning trading.

The main problem with Cubelock is the Cube card itself. I could handle the double Void Lords and Doomguards and I could deal with Bloodreaver but when they pull off those disgusting combos with the Cube and Umbra it makes you just want to uninstall the game.

Since the change to collecting Legendaries the only ones I would ever consider dusting are the Golden ones that aren't very good. I'll dust golden legendaries to craft other meta ones for decks I don't have. For instance, I did this during KFT with a golden Prince 3 and crafted the mage Weapon. Even though Prince 3 has started showing up in a few decks these days, I think that was an overall good trade. Especially since Aluneth is probably going to be forever amazing in Wild.

Wow, Lord Godfrey is a beast!

Warlock is great to play - in the past it was handlock and zoo, now we have cubelock.

I got destroyed by a Shudderwock, didn't even know that was a thing until then lmao.

Every Rogue I've played against has received extremely powerful cards when playing spells/minions that give cards from their opponent's class.

Pretty fucking annoying when a different class is pulling cards from my class that I'm still hoping to draw.

The change being no dupes? I never really get new packs for wild sets though. Do you get wild packs from arena?

Yeah I would definitely have a much more complete collection if I had kept all my cards and a much better variety of decks. You can never really foresee what they could be used for in the future but from now on I'm definitely not dusting anything epic or legendary unless it's being rotated out.

I never dust any cards. You never know if you're going to want to start playing wild and what could be useful in the future.

I feel that's even more true now with Baku and genn.

I'm way low rank like 19 at the moment I think. So I'm not a good indicator of a decks utility. It's just fun to play aggro when all I had before was a mid-range Hunter and a control warlock deck with only one voidlord and guldan (I don't have a lackey or cube).

Why not Baku paladin? Super cheap aside from Baku and level up. And level up could be done without for a little bit I think.

Not a huge fan of Pally. Though, I will probably give it a shot if I wind up crafting/opening Baku. EDIT: I think I'd have to craft Level Up, too.

Ah, shit there's a Leeroy. Welp, not enough to craft both Baku and Leeroy. I'll try to find a good replacement. Thanks for the deck, though.

Leeroy is inessential. A second Unleash the Hounds will be amazing if everyone is running Paladin.

Just my experience! Face Hunter was the deck I ran for my first 6 months of play while trying to be F2P, and I have my 500 ranked wins with it. Unleash the Hounds won me countless games that I should have lost because my opponent put too much on the board.

If my experience is outdated, though, I'm happy to take the L. I'm not saying Leeroy is bad, just that you can still do very well with that deck without him.

Also if I recall correctly, Karsticles is wild.

We clearly all need badges stamped on our posts that are like "WILD RANK 3" or "ONLY PLAYS WARRIOR". :P Then fertygo will just cruise in with some advice and like a "TOP 2 LEGEND" badge.

Didn't see that there was only one UtH.

I was just about to respond this. I only added the Leeroy because I just got it in the last Tavern Brawl pack. Most streamers playing odd face hunter run leeroy, though. I was fine without it at low ranks.

Yeah, the highest rank I have achieved is 19. So probably not a big deal.

it's not a big deal, you can run an odd hunter without leeroy. I was crazy enough to run the 5/2 7 mana weapon instead of it, I could just replace it with another unleash the hounds since there are so many bakupaladins now.

with odd hunter, by turn 5 you almost have settled the game, either winning or losing.

Sometimes it's suggested to run Reckless Rocketeer if you don't have Leeroy. I honestly don't like it, but it's an option.

Edit: whoops, that's an even card.

Yikes, I had 2 quests asking for Paladin victories so I decided to try Odd Paladin and I facerolled my way to 3 wins in like 10 minutes, even missing a lethal one turn earlier due to not paying attention. After that I decided to play three games more to see if I could ride the win-streak up to rank 15 and yup, I certainly could. Gross. Aggro decks are the worst.
