Mindbreaker works with Haghata? And I agree with your point that it should not be your main win condition

No it doesn't. Mind breaker is to screw up with your opponent on the first turns since lately the strongest decks are using the hero power a lot at the beginning

Once hagatha is there,,you can use mind breaker if for some reason you don't want to fill your hand with spells if you are close to 10 cards on hand

I'm kinda surprised those extra hero portraits are still $10, that seems like a huge ripoff and I want the warrior one.

I didn't even think about it and that scenario happens to me a lot! Thanks for the tip

I'm loving hand Druid. Competitive against Paladins. Tough fight against Warlocks.

Which version are you running? Heavy giants with taunt or swarm with Soul of the Forest? The latter plays a bit like the old spell / token druid with Violet Apprentice. I have a hard time playing that one correctly. : /

I've had...mixed, results playing Hand Druid. It's fun though!

Been running into nothing but heavy anti-aggro decks, time to punish them with shudderwock.

Yeah, people are pooping on Shudder, but my decks usually lose to it (Taunt Druid, Hand Druid, Elemental Shaman). Have you played with Elementals yet? Turn one Firefly, turn two Earthen Might, turn three Tar Creeper / Hot Spring Guardian has been pretty strong against most decks not named Warlock--even some warlock decks. You're playing Elementals almost every turn. I've been trying out Shudder it in, but my last match had me Blaze Elementaling my face for 5 and Kalimos healing me for 12 (when I was at 25 life). : / Just...Shudder post-Hagatha is preeeetty good.

Is this the wild meta where the TGT Demon Silencer Light's Champion finally sees play? Spellbreaker is unusable in odd decks, Ironbeak Owl is a much weaker body, and there's not really much else you care to silence.

I just noticed it in Reno Jackson's odd rogue list and it's very interesting at least.

https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1090284-renojacksons-83-winrate-legend-baku-tempo-rogue
I play this deck with 2 owls. the thing about reno is he plays this at legend level. down in the gutter where I roam there's more pally than warlock

also deck is borderline unplayable down here just bc so many pallys (its teched hard against them but still isn't good against odd pall)

Using your deck right now. It's great so far. Don't have Elise so I just swapped it for a mountain giant and took out 1 plated beetle for a cube. I'm thinking of maybe changing out the cube for a dreadlord now.

Elise isn't a core card. Just another way to delay and fill your hand after fatigue.

Happy that you deck doing well for you. You should try to get rank legend with that.

Evens Paladin is scary. A taunt druid summoned 7 taunt walls, and I drew an equality for the eq+consecration combo, buffed my silver hands with the 8 mana sword, and finished the person.

The biggest thing though, is the consistency this deck offers. The consistency is crazy good. No matter the hand, the cards you get are always useful.

even paladin might be broken

being able to immediately play a minion turn 1, no matter your hand, is stronk. Not to mention access to their strongest buff cards, and call to arms, stretches it over the top.

I'm still struggling to even reach rank 9 with odd paladin. I'm wondering if I should put 2x boisterous bard? I've lost a couple of times againt odd paladin using it.

Are you running into alot of taunt druid and warrior? if so then odd pala is almost impossible to win with.

tess is fun as hell, use a shadowstep with her. what's your deck? mine are all wonky and I can't climb with them but they're fun.

using lady in white dragon priest in wild and it's a real nice meta counter

Tier 1 deck matchups pretty much all come down to who had the better draw.
Looking forward to some nerfs to those decks

Can someone good at statistics calculate the odds of having 6 explosive runes in a deck, but drawing none of them from 2 mulligan cards and 11 total deck cards drawn?

playing some of quacak's kingsbane tess on wild ladder....deck is fun. don't have shaku so using sonya and a second swashburglar. I feel like it needs some more draw but I guess it really just comes down to whether or not you can valeera early

Mulligan is about 31% chance to not draw an explosive rune.
Not drawing any of your six runes in 11 draws is about 5%.

Combining them both is about a 1.5% chance, if my math is correct.

I dusted all my wild cards for about 20k dust hehe

Wooow! What are you going to make?

You don't want spiteful with arcane intellect.

Personally I'd cut sindragosa/alex/tyrant/arcane intellect/acolyte/raven with lich king, 2 stonehill, 2 arcane keysmith, 2 voodoo doll, another meteor

i am in ladder fucking hell. doesnt matter what deck im playing, im getting shit on by everything and anything. if there's a card i need, doesnt matter how hard i mulligan, its not coming in time. been at rank 4 for 4 days until tonight and now im buried at rank 5 zero stars. i probably just need to stick with one deck and ride out the massive fucking losing streaks, but its so frustrating.

when i misplay it feels even worse, because of how badly im getting shit on when i dont. probably just need a break, but im still wanting to play all of the new cards so i havent quit. shit is getting tiresome though.

I'm using a variation of Trump's version shown here:

I swapped out the spellstones for the Druid card that silences or deals 2 damage (sorry forgot the name).

I've been able to still swarm without SoF thanks to Wispering Woods and Spreading Plague and the +2 damage buff from branching paths.

Baku Hunter is guaranteed to be solid. You can craft it safely and have a winning deck that is cheap but simple.
I'm not sure if dormir is new to the game or not. Just in case, Karsticles talks about wild most of the time, so his hunter list is probably wild too.
I thought I heard Baku Hunter was tearing it up in Standard, too? If I misread that, then I apologize for giving the bad advice. I was trying to give him something for Standard.

I've been playing for a month or so. Thanks for all the advice and the caveats.

Those Pally decks look crazy, too, so I'll probably play my Pauper decks for a while like Hereafter suggested.

So far I only see mage that can beat hadronox
Shaman could give it a go with Hex but yeah Mage is definitely the more viable class against Hadronox. However if the Druid can stall until turn 10 and either use Oakheart and Naturalize or just play it from your hand and Naturalize it then you can kind of get around it.

Hadronox is essentially N'Zoth but only for Druid. I will have to try that deck out today. It looks super strong.

So, as usual, my mind is blown with all the new decks and the way the meta is up in the air, I tried a few decks, as per usual, I have no luck with fast Paladin decks, and the Shudderwock Shaman seems quite easy to counter, but I tried odd quest Warrior, and that seems pretty good?

I went from rank 5 to 3 with Odd Paladin last night. People just can't keep the board clear. I felt bad for a Rogue who used Fan of Knives AND the 5/3 mass backstabber to clear my boards, and he still died on turn 6. I ate through Lackey into Voidlord + Taldaram + Cubed Voidlord, too. I named the deck Manifest Destiny.

I think Arcane Tyrant is not a good card for Big Spell Mage. You need high value from all of your cards.

Spiteful Summoner needs big cards to draw on - you don't want him pulling a 3-drop for you.

About 9 odd paladins in a row. And the only reliable deck against it is cancerlock...
