It's funny. In Wild I've seen the 512 damage Majordomo Executus/Clockwork Automaton/Cube meme combo go off multiple times now, but not a single Shudderwock infinite.

https://clips.twitch.tv/CrazyMildLegUncleNox

Any OTK works in Druid because they actually have a shot at drawing all 30 cards in any matchup, where Shaman definitely does not. So Wild might be a good safe haven if people just want to get away from these 40 minute matches i keep hearing about.

A Jade or Corpsetaker Shudderwock on curve can be very scary, but it's not so bad if they don't have it on curve.

I'm glad these both exist

Ground down a cubelock with elemental mage. Lol screw off!

He kept going face when I had a board full of jaina elementals.

I've actually been winning a good amount of games today with this list. I messed around with a couple Shudderwock builds and did some tweaking myself all to paltry results. You really can't go below 2 Lightning Storm and 2 Volcanoes, which a lot of builds did to include more draw. Had to struggle for most of these wins OTOH and pretty sure I only used the whole combo once. The upside to the odd and aggro decks and summoner lists is that if you can control the board for a single turn you can get shudderwock down and he makes 1-2 copies of himself and they can't remove it.

Highlight was Hagatha giving me windfury the +2/+2, +3 attack and an earthshock to silence his taunt for lethal.

You know what really grinds my gears? Getting an odd amount of coins from arena. No point in giving 5 coins out except to drive people like me crazy. So now i have to do arena until it balances back, and if and when that happens every future run is in jeopardy of putting me back in this situation.

Arugal is insanely clunky in elemental mage so far. It is almost like you need it and the draw spell on turn 4 or you won't ever be able to use it until very late game.

I've only gotten good use out of him a few times with Book of Spectres. I might cut him because my hand is usually too full to use him anyway, since so many of my cards replace themselves.

I don't think I'm crafting chameleous for my spiteful priest deck, there are a few decks where you don't even want a card from them like what do I want from hunter or Paladins?

The card is quite awful even in a mirror match. It's a dead draw the turn you draw it and it's dead many other turns as well. A small amount of knowledge will help you very little and it's not worth a card slot.

I got a golden one. I'm disappointed in it.

Played against shudder finally, he had crazy amount of draw because I couldn't deal with his draw totems right away through those 3 cost taunt elementals but I had turn two prince and lady in white, when it got to mossy horror and spiteful summoner pulling a 7/14 it didn't even matter that he cleared my board once, never saw the shudder.

The Shudderwock deck as it is right now isn't very good tbh.

People are trying out Witching Hour with Charged Devilsaurs now. I rated Witching Hour low but thought the only way it would really see play was if you could combine it with something dumb like Devilsaur to get a Cubelock like combo going. The problem with that is that is there's no easy way to cheat the Devilsaurs out in that deck like you can with the Doomguards in Cubelock.

I like these crazy times where everyone's experimenting with all sorts of decks. It's great.
Happens once a year after rotation

There's a reason why people love ungoro and old gods as the best sets.

It's less about the set and really that it was a new rotation.

Rotations shouldn't happen once a year. The latest set should kick out the oldest set. That would make every expac feel fresh.

Yep. It would lower the highs of the yearly rotation because losing a ton of cards at once is awesome but it would really raise the lows of every other xpack.

Has Blizzard mentioned anything about Shudderwock? It's fucking absurd they let a card like that through.

Dean Ayala:
"Thanks for re-posting this.

As with all early meta-games, we're closely monitoring all the perception and data trends. If something becomes an issue we'll figure out how to address it. Otherwise, things have been going well. There is a good amount of class representation and deck popularity feels like it's still shifting pretty rapidly."

I don't see them nerfing Shudderwock honestly. They'll probably fix the animation issue but other than that I don't see it. The OTK version isn't a good deck.

Edit: Granted the deck is completely unfun to play against and makes most slow decks almost irrelevant but Freeze Mage was the same way and look how long they let that run wild.

Shudderwock doesn't need a Nerf right now it needs to be fixed. Nobody reasonable wants it nerfed yet. The deck is terrible.

Made some tweaks to Capilano's Corpsetaker Shaman deck. Cut the Thalnos and one Argent Squire for two Cobalt Scalebanes. Only played three games with it but all three were wins. Feels a little bit better I think as I found I was running out of threats too quickly. Thalnos seemed underwhelming with just a single Lightning Storm in the deck and two Argent Squires felt like overkill when there's already two Fire Flies and two Glacial Shards in the deck. Granted it's mostly there for the Divine Shield proc on Corpsetaker so if I run into issues activating it maybe I can fit in a Argent Commander or something.

tanglefur is kinda just to give them a big hand for clockworks as well as coldlight, idk if that's a good strategy or not yet. but minstrel and minic pod and sap help a lot for giant decks. not sure what else is exploitable specifically in rogue..

Is this the fastest the meta has become stale with a new expansion? At least on EU you only see 2 decks. Paladin and Cubelock.

It's 2018 and the two copies of Light's Justice in my Paladin deck are crucial to my winrate.

I suspect that's where we'll end up when everything settles, with various forms of Paladin and Cubelock at the top. How long that will last though, who knows.

I'm 100% confident that Warlock will be seeing a nerf before too long. Blizzard is doing their "wait and see" thing with the rotation and the fact that Cubelock is still standing tell after everything tells me its days are numbered, at least for it's current form.

I'm seeing all sorts of shit *shrug*
Hunter, Warlock, Druid, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, and Warrior.

Only class I'm not seeing much of is Mage. And there were a lot of Shamans, but now they aren't as frequent.

What do you think they'll nerf? The only thing I could see would be maybe Lackey

So did Blizzard just take out the highrolling aspect of Spiteful summoner? Like the worst minion you can get is a 7/14.

This entire start of the new year has been horrible compared to the first days of Un Goro.

Honestly I have no idea. There are so many routes they could take. I know Dark Pact has been drawing a lot of ire recently but just nerfing that probably wouldn't make a whole lot of difference.

Between Dark Pact, Spellstone, Cube, Doomguard, Lackey and Bloodreaver there's a pretty good amount of targets.

lol, 9 out of my last 11 games have been against paladin, haven't dropped one yet.

Edit: This might be my first loss, no squire, no protector, no light's justice, no firefly in my mulligna.
Edit2: Nevermind, dude thought face was the place. didn't respect the board.

I have to get used to Ironbeak Owl, it comes down one turn earlier than Spellbreaker and I have just lost a 10/10 Van Cleef because of it.

Lifedrinker in Tempo Rogue seems to be quite good, that bit of heal is nice against other aggro decks and in combination with Shadowstep you can deal good damage that ignores taunts.

This just proves Blizzard doesn't care about balance or fun. For months, if not years, players have been telling them that the worst aspect of Hearthstone are decks that are fun to play but terrible to play against.

Jabberwock is literally the perfect example of that. You can't play against it nor stop the end result. All it is is your opponent playing a specific set of battlecry minions, then the big guy himself. You either kill them before turn nine or you lose, which is easier said than done when they have all those ways to stall.

Is there anything halfway decent we can do with the Divine Hymn, Squashling, Quartz Elemental, and Nightscale Matriarch heal priest theme?

I really like the idea but it all feels so weak, standard or wild.

There is a combo priest deck with that cards on hsreplays.net, but I haven't tried it out. Still trying to make a white lady combo decj work.
