Can't tell if people are being sarcastic or not but are people seriously ok with the deluxe edition coming with extra story content already? Isn't that literally what people get pissy about with every other game that launches? Its basically season pass territory
we're being up-front about it. There's no way to make that stuff in time for the window post-launch unless you begin on it in advance with a small team.
It's all budgeted and developed separately. It's not pulling content from the main game, I'm not sure what the issue is?
I've nothing against them, my point was up until recently they were something the internet absolutely despised. I've never had an issue with them I just wasn't sure if people were being sarcastic or serious.
Are you mistaken this as having extra content right out of the box? No, part of the higher price is paying for the expansion coming later. Which everyone will have access to at the same time. Some just paid for it earlier.
Oh. Well I think at first, the industry was pretty shitty with their practices but after they started coming forward with what's included, and fans started realizing the benefits of post-release support and how this works behind the scenes (ie, not chopping off important content for a quick buck later) it was more tolerable.
Try look in dedicated videogame stores.
Here in Portugal the 2 videogame stores i buy my games have 3 spider-man versions available, the normal editiom, the especial edition and the collectors edition (that is already sold out in both stores)
My original post was unclear, I clarified above you. I have no issue with season pass, I was expressing my surprise at other people being fine with them, considering the internet used to hate the very idea of season passes
Yeah just saw that now. Yeah I've always thought the industry just needed a bit more transparency on the content creation. Particularly with the crap capcom (I think it was capcom) pulled with DLC being already on the disc and just time locked
No. People were and are still against season passes that contain day one content. People are okay and have been okay with expansion packs (which is what these story DLCs are) since 1990s.
Season passes have come a long way recently. People are getting excited for Far Cry 5 season pass for example.

Still no CE on Amazon? I'm definitely glad I decided to just pre-order from Gamestop instead of waiting.
I've noted this - but we highly reccomend you order from one of the retailers I listed that have it in stock.
Crud, should have picked up a preorder at bestbuy while I still had the chance. Oh well. Here's hoping between now and then it comes back in stock there or a version with just the steelbook releases.
Already got mine. I normally wait for Amazon, but not when it comes to a game like this. No one needs a collector's edition, but I need this one. =P

I know you probably don't know, but what about Europe/Italy? There is no way here to pre-order the CE.

Solid stuff. This is my most hyped game but I have financials and 9 billion other games among many other things. Plus I tend to play games after they patch up now. I've supported too many games on release. I might wait on this one. No doubt it will sell bazillions anyway.
I really hope Insomniac joins the big boys again with this game just like GG. They both are incredible studios.
We really need a super quality Resistance Trilogy remaster at some point in the next couple years though. I would not mind it being a PS5 launch title even.

but I hope the game does a nice Day 1 Steelbook or something. I'd be all over it. I love steelbook cases, they look so sexy on the shelf.
Alright, EU places I know are sold out already and our local retailers don't have any info on if it's coming or not. Any place I can preorder CE online now? I have a US address to ship to. Wallmart is $166 but is there any other ones? Target doesn't work for me now for some reason...

Guys anyone have a clue if the CE will be game exclusive for EU!?! I swear I'm searching everyday and I'm getting frustrated that I will miss this CE.
Are there gonna go up for sale again in the future? I was able to get a pre order in at Gamestop before they sold out, but I'd prefer to have on at best buy.
I dont even know where to complain, even sony says the price should be 150 euro, on amazon it was also 199 before it was sold out
