I still hate Cubelock more than Shudderwock.

Shudderwock's only problem is the excessively long animations. The deck itself isn't really uber powerful.

At most it is uninteractive, like quest rogue or quest mage, since how you play really does not matter since its a battlecry combo. You just have to kill them before they go ham.

I hate uninteractive decks in general.

Really if people want to climb fast play odd paladin. The deck never runs out of steam.
I had to stop playing after 5 straight wins because it was just too boring. No meaningfull decisions to be made, just vomit onto the board and win.

I'm thinking about crafting Shudderwock and building a deck using only minions with Battlecry to hero, minion, or split damage. Gonna call it ShudderFace.

Yup. I'm playing it at rank 5 and I'm 9-1 with it. My one loss came to a priest deck that seemed specifically designed to counter odd paladin.

I really wish there was a way to tutor Jaina, because odd control mage would be so much fun.

It's so hard to keep the board clean.

I got Paladin in Arena and picked 3 Spikeridged Steels and didn't get a single one, went 1-3, hahahaha fuck this

and just 1 wouldv'e turned 2 of those losses into wins

this is unbelievable and btw i had a chance to pick 4 of them but decided 3 was enough and 4 would be overkill

im so done

Yeah priest might be able to tech that way, but then that deck will probably loose hard to cubelock and taunt warrior.

I'm sorry, but Shudderwock has nothing on Baku Paladin and Cubelock. I've beaten plenty of Shudderwock decks, but I'm losing pretty consistently to Baku Paladins and Cubelocks.

The sad part is that Dude Paladins and Cubelocks don't even need any of the new cards, since they lost pretty much nothing in the rotation. At least aggro Paladins are using Baku.

It's going to be the exact same meta as before, minus Jade Druids.

Fuck anyone who plays Shudderwock. Seriously, go fuck yourself.

Literally wasting people's time with this shit.

Shudder is my next deck to make, if blizzard didn't want me to play shudder why would they give me these teeth and claws as my first legendary?

My claws, etc, etc.

Arugal for mage has been really good so far in several different decks. Can probably play him in Wild too with the Giants package. Book of Specters makes Giants Mage even better also

I don't think I'm crafting chameleous for my spiteful priest deck, there are a few decks where you don't even want a card from them like what do I want from hunter or Paladins?

I feel like I have less incentive to play decks where I already have the golden hero unless it's a really fun deck.

Shudder is definitely not one of them. Hopefully they add new pieces/ideas to it and it becomes more viable for climbing.

Just got messaged from an angry Odd Paladin about using Cubelock and not new decks lmao. How angry do you have to be in this game to have to add people, hope they add you and write them an essay?

I got too greedy/impatient and wasted all my dust on dumb cards.. might have to invest in 40 or so packs in the future :(

What beats shudder? Oddly out of my games so far I haven't played against one. Two cubes, couple mages, rogues, hunters, warriors. Warrior was particularly annoying.

from my experience, most decks right now. The deck is pretty slow and fragile, the more draw you put in the more you lose out on the board. There's 2 hexes as hard removal only, those might get you there in the cubelock matchup, maybe, but it isn't nearly enough for all the summoner decks. Lots of decks just put out more health than Volcano can reasonably clear and the overload severly dampens your gameplan.

Tried odd mage because I have Baku and don't understand it. Got the cat to draw me a card before I got destroyed though, lol.

Baku Paladin is the new cancer of HS.
I may have mentioned this before, but some of us have had multiple people die of cancer in our family and trust me, cancer is FAR worse than whatever deck is bothering you in Hearthstone.

I was playing a deck last night that lost virtually 100% of games to Baku Paladin and yet I didn't compare it to cancer. Could we dial that back please?

You don't see why that card is annoying people or are you just an asshole all day around?
So? Be annoyed, I don't care. I'm not playing this game to make you happy.

Baku Paladin is the new cancer of HS.
It has been tier 1 in Wild for a while. It's why mid-range is dead in Wild. You either play aggro or you need a bunch of board wipes to survive New Aggro.

Regular taunt warrior is really good. Warpath and blood razor destroy pallidian.

Ghost military is the MVP of the deck
Decklist? I really want to see what Evens Fatigue Warrior can do, too. My evens/odds experiments are:

Evens Handlock (tap on turn one!)
Odds Paladin (duh)
Odds Control Mage
Evens Fatigue Warrior (I wish DMH costed 1 mana, because odds would be better otherwise)

I can't see Rogue, Druid, Shaman, or Priest caring about evens/odds. The best thing you can get from Shaman is controllable totems, and there is only one you really want anyway. If Evens Shaman had Bloodlust it might be good.

Glad to hear other opinions on this.

Thank you for having the courage to say that. The internet in general needs to regauge its diction. I was in a discord last week where a guy casually used the word "raped" to describe winning, and I had to talk with him about how...inconsiderate that is, maybe? I struggle to find the perfect word for the inclination to throw words like that around carelessly. I have to talk to students every damn day about not calling each other "fag". It's so tiresome.

And I don't mean this post as an attempt to drag anyone out in particular. Websites in general need to up their code of conduct expectations. I am so tired of major companies like Blizzard taking the hands-off approach.

Sure thing. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Hmm, i'll have to try that one...

It's funny. In Wild I've seen the 512 damage Majordomo Executus/Clockwork Automaton/Cube meme combo go off multiple times now, but not a single Shudderwock infinite.

https://clips.twitch.tv/CrazyMildLegUncleNox

Any OTK works in Druid because they actually have a shot at drawing all 30 cards in any matchup, where Shaman definitely does not. So Wild might be a good safe haven if people just want to get away from these 40 minute matches i keep hearing about.

A Jade or Corpsetaker Shudderwock on curve can be very scary, but it's not so bad if they don't have it on curve.

I want to try:
Aviana
Kun
Toggwaggle
Azalina

In a deck with nothing but draw and removal. I would have to craft 3 legendaries to do it, though.

I don't think shudderwock misses much more than better defensive tools to be competitive. Shaman has to remove shit instead of being able to stall like freeze mage could but 4 mana hex sucks and no way to set up a doomsayer.

What are you talking about, freeze shaman is totally a thing. Don't you remember all those great freeze cards they printed, like Avalanche. :D
