Is that normal for FOX? Seems weird to me that they'd miss out on expanding their audience like that.
Yeah. I guess they knew they'd be down one at least because they aired the halloween episode early, but tonight's episode was supposed to air last week and changed at the last moment.
They're basically turning into the cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Alba is basically Frank except his descent into madness and depravity took 7 seasons. It took Alba just 1.
Sabrina is young female Dennis Reynolds to the point I start expecting her to yell about how she's a golden God.
Jimmy is the Charlie of the group. A good natured but greasy and weird ass hole who is good with his hands (sort of) and constantly gets fucked up.
Chip is the young male red headed version of Sweet Dee in that you feel bad for him at times but then he opesn his mouth and you realize he deserves all he gets.
Mickey is the Mac of the group though that's ones a bit more of a stretch but she's bossy, nosey and despite trying to do the right thing often it comes from a very fucked up place.

It's not that different so far. Without spoiling, I really like where they took the story.
Good to hear! It was a nice show to fall back on before going to bed. Not as stressful as watching a lot of the heavier TV dramas I have been involved in lately.

I'm a dirty millennial without cable so I'm still waiting on Hulu for the new episode :(

You don't have a HDTV with a digital tuner? That's all you need. Where I live Fox comes in kinda assy but ABC and NBC are crystal clear, and CBS is usually fine.
I do have Hulu though so it's kind of just a nice bonus.
Honestly Jimmy slipping on the hill got the biggest laugh. Wonder if that was scripted

Mickey takes advantage of Rita when she discovers that Rita believes Mickey to be an old friend, but later learns that their friendship was more than just platonic. Meanwhile, the kids' grandmother, Tippy, gives the family an unexpected surprise.

I'm basically waiting for a cameo from one of the other cast members from Its Always Sunny at this point.

I don't get the title of the show? Isn't that a derogatory term for Irish people? Like would it be cool to have a show with an Italian American and called it "the whop"?

Her name is Mickey, and a lot of people call her Mick for short.

The show has grown on me enough to watch it live instead even when I barely watched season 1 as it was airing.
And Trained Rage I have had the same thought before. I don't know if it was explained any other way but I guess its supposed to just be the shortened version of the main characters name. I've only heard it being used as a slur though. I suppose TV titles don't have any restrictions on what they can use but I was surprised when the show was first being advertised.

I doubt it. It's rating better than expected, Olson's Sunny pals seem busy with other things, and she and D'Elia really love the job. (I'm assuming the other primary cast enjoys the work as well, but I haven't seen them in coverage).
I spent the whole episode trying to figure out how that was going to happen. There were so many things it could be. In the end, I'm glad she figured her own way to do it instead of having someone else do it for her or it be an accident.
I love Jimmy.
I watched S12 of Always Sunny the other day on Hulu, and some of the ads during the episodes said it was returning in 2018. Last I heard it wasn't, but who knows.

I think I accidentally gave the wrong impression. Always Sunny is still on (and here's an article with Olson mentioning she'd pester Howerton to return to the show). I meant more in the sense that she wouldn't be dragged away to something else that they might be trying to start.
Sorry for not putting more Jimmy in the OP. He's turning into the sweetest guy, offering to do laundry and not wanting to put the servers and help out. What a turn around from the guy who originally left Mickey for (assumed) dead.
