Really dig dark possession. That shit is great with the weapon. Want to fit two, but I don't think I can.
Pretty sure the discount isn't tied to the hero power – it's an aura effect tied to the hero, similar to Frost Lich's lifesteal and Caverns Below's stat boost.
I wish witch cauldron wasn't... well, a cauldron lol, that would've been better as a weapon instead because the fact is just a cauldron instead of a person/animal/whatever bothers me a lot
Are you positive that's how that works? I assume the pity time starts counting from the 10 pack legendary, so 50 would guarantee 2 legendaries besides the free one rather than 40.
Same, but too bad baku mage is burnless. I feel more comfortable playing mage with burns.
The pity timer starts after you get your first legendary which will be in the first 10. So just add 40 and you will always get one within that.

Blizzard really put a lot of work into the odd-even theme. Baku was in my third Witchwood pack. Amazing how even the pack opening RNG adheres to the rules.

My free card was Emeriss, so now I already own both new Hunter legendaries. I immediately tried my luck with Face Hunter to quickly get the 10 win quest done. First results weren't encouraging. Board-centric decks with some teeth tended to flip the table on me around Turn 5 and most people came prepared with more Taunts than a parliament of Ironbeak Owls could silence. The hunt for more quality in the 1-mana slot continues tomorrow.

applebaum is a nice addition that gives some well needed defense to pop up on zoths. not sure if i should add grizzly to that one, its kinda top heavy. dire frenzy is real nice on the right build a beast but as i said, isn't much on mastiff unfortunately. i haven't zothed dire frenzied deathrattles with nzoth yet, i'm hoping they come back as the buffed version, but i'll need to confirm in game before i build around it more.

Wasn't my deck, it was someone I was playing against.
Dude must have had every legendary from KFT, K&C, and Witchwood, because he used every single one of them. By the end, he had like 30 armor, and two towers raining hell on me. Just hard to get my footing. Didn't help that neither Wock or Hagatha dropped.
Speaking of which, Hagatha feels like DK Jaina to me. However, those random spells dropping constantly really snowballs over time and ends up giving more value than the lifesteal of Jaina's elementals.
Wouldn't it require 90 (10+40+40). But obviously that's the absolute worst case.

Looked up fibonaci's new baku control. First match up against a hunter who rexxar'd mid match. I was at 30+ armor in the blink of an eye and was sitting at 8 or 9 cards the whole time. Whewwwww almost forgot what control felt like.

It's not that they found additional deck slots hard to code, it's that additional deck slots is against their motto of simplicity.
I disagree and think we should have 100 deck slots (or more), but I think the simplicity of the ui really does benefit the game and make it ways for newcomers to pick up and play (withstanding how tough it is for them to make a good deck).
My crappy Jade shudder shaman didn't feel great. I won games against trash rank wild but i didn't like my draw consistency.

For this brief period of insanity, without spoiling everything for me, does anyone have suggestions for what 1-drops would be decent in odd hunter? I find most any deck I play against immediately spams wide minions so I can't even try to attack face.

Actually, let me make this even more general. I think someone mentioned odd hunter could win some games. However, the problem I'm facing (aside from hunter's normal lack of draw) is that odd hunter boosts your hero power to 3...but how often do you even get to use your hero power? If you're not playing minions on curve, it seems you get stomped by any deck regardless of 2-4 extra face damage over the course of a game. Am I missing something obvious?
Face hunter cares even less about board control than pirate warrior did.
Shudderwock still requires you to draw and play certain cards, so it's pretty slow if the cards you need are at the bottom of your deck. I only won one game because I was facing Taunt Warrior.
I only play standard, so I should make sure we're on the same page there.
If talking about standard, what 1 drops do you think would have value in odd hunter?
