Tbh I need to look good recipes around. I suck at looking up new stuff and for most of the part I hear the same boring chicken breast and veggies routine which is somewhat similar to what im eating since Im clueless on how to go on it.

Breakfast Im doing an omelette with ham and 1 toast. I got some tofu and mushrooms so I might do a wrap for lunch with other veggies included and cheese and as for dinner Im not too sure what to do but I'll check my options later. I need to organize my stuff better tbh.

You don't really need recipes, you can keep it simple. But you described a pretty low volume menu and what is there (particularly the nachos and corn) isn't going to keep you full for long.

You have that backwards (I think) a lot of people admonish Extensions as cruising for an ACL tear or MCL tear. and that leg curls are largely useless. Very common opinions to have. They have limited application but do have some use. They work the knees flexion mechanic which 95% of other hamstring movements don't do very well. So It works one particular muscle that say Deadlift variations and Good mornings don't. If you can do Nordic Curls or Glute Ham Raises they would fill that gap and be more productive use of training resources. Extensions are fine as long as you have good knees. When I use it its usually just as finisher or pump lift. I never go heavy on it.

They should never be the focus on your training, but something thats just a small piece of a bigger picture. I am currently not doing any of either, because I am preparing for a competition in 5 weeks, but nothing is off the table when I start volume training again.
Well from what I've read, leg curls are bad for your knees, and I don't want to get those injured because I run. Just recently, I banged my knee and it hurt like hell, and I'm worried that it'll still hurt so I put off deadlifts and squats for two sessions. I'll try running later and if I don't feel any pain, I'll resume DLs and squats tomorrow. I have never tried the knee extension but maybe I'll do one of these days, just for kicks. I'll try the other stuff you've mentioned, pretty sure you were the ones who recommended calve raises to me. My focus on training is full body, I never focus on a single body part.

Oliver James:
I don't have a fancy schedule, But i am also a hybrid like Buran. I generally crossfit 6 days a week, and I've a home set up so I'll work in the big three at times when needed. However, We're on a 8 week stregnth cycles, so we're pressing, squatting and deadlifting every Monday Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday and Thursday we're breaking down the Clean and Snatch, and generally have some type of small Metcon afterwards. I literally just bought a rower for the house, so I started having "Netflix and Row" sessions on the daily. I play soccer every Monday evening, as well as tennis every Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Whoa, you live one pretty active lifestyle. When I was fat, I didn't bother to learn any sports, so now my main priority is learning a few. My main aim is basketball, but soccer isn't off the table. PS: rowing machine and Netflix reminds me of Kevin Spacey on House of Cards.

Endymion man, awesome progress! I think I'm kinda lucky in that I don't have sagging skin, but in lieu of that I have stretch marks. Bulking will probably help you get rid of that. How long did it take you to get to that weight from starting from scratch? What motivated you?
Man, whenever I come in this thread I keep forgetting US do weights in pounds.

Am like 500kg? Wtf aha
I know how that feels, heh

I'm still struggling binge eating somewhat at the end of my fasting period.

Edit: Wait, are you telling me you can't eat enough?? If so ignore everything below.

Can't stop eating towards the end of your feeding window? I've been through this a lot. A few things that helped me that may or may not help you:

1. Fill up on the healthier stuff before starting dessert (i have a sweet tooth)
2. Have a drink (water, coffee, tea) to finish filling yourself up after dinner/dessert
3. Find something to do and get the f*ck out of your kitchen. I hear videogames are a thing.
4. If nothing else works I fast for a day. It's brutal, but it totally resets my cravings and I regain control.

My go-to drink in the evening other than tea is vitamin water zero, even though it's cheaply-flavored sh*t. I just need something with flavor occasionally or else I'm grumpy.

No the freak is saying he's having trouble eating enough which is even stranger because he cycles around the coastline of Britain once a day. At least that's what I think he's saying lol

Let me know when/if you're in town. My fiancee are going to be in SF from May 4th till May 6th and then Vegas from the 17th till the 22nd.

Hm, I read it as he was essentially binge eating once his fasting period ended. Now we'll all have to wait in suspense until he can tell us what he meant!

Hit 132 lbs on the bench yesterday for five reps! Peanuts compared you the rest of you all but it's nice to feel like I'm making progress for once.

This is really helpful.
I'm fighting cravings all day (I work from home) and my wife keeps buying sugar stuff.
Went on IF recently to help the "in between snacking" but I just eat more garbage in a smaller window now.

This was part of my problem. My wife bakes something sweet almost daily. If I start eating that stuff while I'm still hungry, I can eat it forever. If I fill myself up with dinner first, I feel like I can control my dessert portions a lot better.

So I took my first shot at lifting in my apartment's gym Sunday night. I was mostly just trying to get an idea of where I'm starting, so I basically did a full body routine. I've learned two things:

-I am weak
-DOMS sucks

Gotta start somewhere I guess haha

Congrats on getting started! DOMS eventually goes away, but yeah, when you're starting out it sucks.

Store page. They've been around for a while now, but the three flavors I mentioned are new. Like Quest Bars, they get better with 15 seconds of microwaving, especially the old formula which got quite hard after some time.

Btw, Robert Irvine's Fit Crunch Bars are fucking amazing. Our local Costco doesn't carry them anymore, but right before they stopped carrying them they were selling them at a discounted rate (about 60 cents a bar as well) so we bought ten boxes of them, lol. Great flavor and great texture; my fiancee is super addicted to them. A couple of weeks ago I chucked some in a food processor and used them as a topping on Kodiak Cake waffles, they were so good.
Oh I know about them, I actually go to the Arnold Sports Festival every year, so I've had a TON of his stuff, as well as others. I'm still doing well with quest bars, and the ON pop cakes are great as well. Muscle pharm has great bars as well.

We've been doing skill work for Oly lifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the box for crossfit. Today was hang snatches, and I actually was churning out decent form! I didn't go over 95lbs because i didn't want to sacrfice what form i had, but i've very satisfied with today's lifts. I think i can link to my IG post. I'm gonna try anyway.

EDIT:
Well I can link to the post, so that works.

I had this same fucking problem, lol. My fiancee got super into couponing and next thing I know there's a shit ton of candy and other snacks all over the place. I definitely have bad habits around sweets that I developed as a child (yay getting spoiled with sweets every night as a kid), so I'd see the candy laying around and tell myself I'm better than that but soon I'd cave, then beat myself up over it and keep eating more. I eventually asked my fiancee to not have it in such obvious places -- out of sight, out of mind really does work. Hell, I keep forgetting I have six boxes of Quest Hero Bars (my favorite!) because they're buried under other stuff right now. My relationship with food has changed somewhat since then; we were at an airport lounge with UNLIMITED FREE FOOD recently and I only ate one cookie, which is pretty impressive for me. I did eat a shit ton of brussel sprouts and quinoa salad there though.

I don't really bake though. I'll make a small batch of stuff occasionally but it's usually a healthy version (no real sugar and usually some protein powder used) and I don't taste it before we're actually going to eat it.

Grats dude. Chest and shoulders feel so hard to make progress on but chest in particular feels really rewarding to get better at, especially since the muscles involved are so visually prominent. Also helps offset my moobs, haha.

I still eat and drink EVERYTHING in airport lounges. I don't travel regularly enough for it to have a big effect though. :D

Edit - Bollocks. Just ate way too much again after my fasting period. I even stopped to drink coffee this time but it didn't help.

Have you tried staggering your feeding window to an earlier time? I've also had luck eating 2 decent-size meals: one at noon and one at 6pm. If I eat little meals/snacks throughout my window they don't add up to sh*t.

Edit: how long is your window?

16/8. I think it's just because I'm not exercising at the moment. Used to be that I would be prepping for exercise right after eating, but at the moment I'm straight back to work / house shit.

Do you typically plan your meals out in advance, or do you wing it when it comes time to eat? (I know the situation is probably different at the moment since you're dealing with work / house stuff).

I've never really planned out. But normally I know what constitutes my intake simply by virtue of having eaten similar stuff for a long time.

From my perspective, it looks like some of your posts have a condescending, know-it-all tone to it, which i think rubbed people the wrong way. Heck, I'm over 200lbs, 5'8", my BF% is in the teens and I'm 100% natural (there's a pic of me at 196 a couple pages back). I've been lifting/playing sports for the last years CONSISTENTLY, so "data" isn't always the end all. Everyone is different and will yield different results. I do know i have genetics on my side, so i'm not arguing that, but the you must be on gear because the idea of someone being my height and shorter with that much more muscle than me is impossible because this chart says so is kinda meh.

EDIT: Reading you last post, i'll add passive aggressive to you post tone as well

Chart for 6% body fat for naturals
how-much-muscle-can-you-gain-naturally-3.jpg
I guess 6% fat = Fat% in the Teens which is Double that fat% if not triple it since you were not exact
+I didn't make these charts, its made my PHD trainers who decided that was about the range for Naturals
Of course i'm the passive aggressive just lol, i keep getting attacked and people put words in my mouth without even reading what they are responding to as usual.

I miss DOMS. Welcome to the healthy life!
Thanks! Work keeps me out of the house about 12 hours a day, but I do get 3 days off in exchange, so hopefully lifting 2-3 times a week will allow me to see at least some gains, especially when I stop my cut. I'm down another pound from last week... hopefully I can keep that pace up and have a shot at a good recomp.

Recently I was with a lady friend and she suddenly asked me out of nowhere if I had abs, then proceeded to touch me to check if I indeed have abs. I said no, and she asked if I was planning to have them. Then the conversation got into legs, and she said her legs are the way they are because her trainer for running told her that legs should be hard as planks, then she asked me if my legs are any good, so I showed her my legs and flexed a bit, she felt them and told them, yep, legs like mine. Oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Oof, went a little too hard on my deadlifts and definitely felt it in my lower back for a few hours. Helping my fiancee get her weight plates setup took a little more effort and caution than I'm used to. XD Ah well, I get at least two days off from lifting since we're off to Coachella this weekend. Taking breaks makes me feel bad but I could use one.

Edit: Wow, finally tried the Costco Chocolate Peanut Butter protein bar and I think I'm in love. It was good before I put it in the microwave, put 12 seconds in the microwave made it melt in your mouth delicious. Definitely going to stock up while they're on sale.

My body is soo wrecked right now. Two soccer games monday night with tempo squats and handstand skillwork that morning. Tennis in the a.m. followed by Snatch training and a small metcon, and another soccer game in the evening. I've a tennis match in about 25 minutes (6:15am, then, floor press trained with a bit of a sprint metcon. Of course work is 10-6 each day.

I just need a massage along with a epsom soak, and about 36 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Ok i'll say upfront i don't know anything about Fitness, Fitness trackers, Smart Scales or the apps that connect them.

So feel free to speak to me like the n00biest of N00bs.

Maybe someone here can point me in the right direction.

What i want to be able to do is the following:

Stand on some smart scales and it tell some service what weight, BMI etc i am.

Use that service to say what i eat.

use some sort of tracker to track my calories burned and have that info in the same service.

So basically weight, food and activity all under one roof. What should i buy?

Thanks :D

Thank you guys. Apparently I am 205 now so yay.

Any advice on getting a big ass chest

For me, barbell gave me strength but heavy dumbbells gave me size. Also, make sure you're hitting all angles for that 3D chest look (e.g. flat, incline, decline, flys). Doesn't have to be every time out, but flat BB bench isn't going to round out those pecs as well as flat BB bench PLUS dumbbell accessories.

Edit: and this was me taking my chest from one of my weakest / smallest muscle groups to one of my strongest.

I wanna give anabolic steroids a try in the future just to see what a cycle or two does. Anyone have any advice on how to start this in a healthy way? I've done some research recently and found out they are actually really safe if used properly.
