the yearly reminder that I don't fully understand it when oddsmakers bust out the 7/4 and other odds that don't end in /1

How is FSU 25/1, they should be 2500/1. Zero chance they win a national title, they don't even have a shot at the conference title in my mind.

Edit: thought it was odds to win the title, but it is just making the playoffs. Still zero chance the Noles get there.

No it clearly says "Playoff title". Which means, winning the 4 team playoffs.

Andy is correct, 2nd number is her first is win.

Also, Ron Paul those numbers don't really apply to "chance" to win. So it's not really so and so had 20% chance it's basically formulated to hedge Vegas bets.

They're still pretty damn talented, even amid having to adapt to a new head coach. There are only a few rosters more talented from top to bottom than them. Don't know what their OOC schedule looks like, but they'll have every opportunity to make some noise.

Didn't realize Clemson is returning so much. They're gonna be tough again.

We all missed the fact that the movie about JoePa starring Tony Montana, came out on HBO a couple days ago.

He hurt the thumb on his throwing hand, so he's not.

Yeah. But he started out mostly getting 2nd team reps anyways, and then rotating in with the starters.

It's obviously an open competition in Nick's mind, even if it seems like a foregone conclusion to most of us.

Did you quote me, meaning to reply to maester Rowlf?

Finished the movie, hit on most of what I remember. Paterno was a walking corpse by that point, but they do bring up that shit happened since the 70s.

After not being sure how Pacino would do in the role from the trailers, I found him to give an accurate representation of Paterno, in voice and body movement.

Feel bad for the actor who played Sandusky, dude looks exactly like him...

Did they show the part where Paterno shit his pants while coaching that one time?

No, but they did a quick recreation of him getting taken out at practice and busting a hip.

The intro is a flash back and forth, between him inside an MRI machine, and the Illinois game (last game?). They have some ABC footage of that game, intersected with filmed bits to show all the various casted roles (the sons, the sideline, him in the pressbox, the 3 admins that eventually went to jail, and the main reporter). The video quality differences between the filmed and live clips were noticeable.

Saban, who has his own disjointed style of speaking, sounds like a completely rational, normal human being, after following Trumps rambling nonsense.

For the myself who cares about Iowa State football.
Coming out of the bar a couple of nights ago, I heard someone yell "Go Cyclones!" I ignored it thinking it was just some drunk yelling about something that didn't involve me. Then I heard him yell it a couple more times getting closer as my buddy and I got in to the car, still ignored it. Finally, it occurred to me as we were driving off that he was yelling at me because I was wearing my Hawkeyes hockey jersey (we had gone to a hockey game earlier that night.)

I think that might have been funniest response I could've ever given him, kind of like a "We don't even think about you, man."

Don't get me wrong, Auburn blows ass, but there's a good point to be had. Alabama wasn't the best team in their conference, their division, or their state. #banbama #banyasukebecausehesgoingtothinkthispostisserious #bankarlbecausehisjokesarentfunny

Their point is "they're national champs, we're state champs."

Nobody's denying that, whatever it means (besides, Troy>>>LSU>>>Auburn, so)

But if you can only be one of those things, I know which I'd pick. *shrug*

The NCAA makes a significant change to kickoffs, where any kick that lands between the goal line and the 25-yard line can now be fair caught and treated as a touchback.

Wttttf, why even have kickoffs anymore just start everything at the 25
