I don't really care for a gun game limited mode, but I'm not opposed either. But it could be actually designed within a BR mode right? Everyone starts with a pistol. First kill you get a SMG, then an AR. It really promotes killing. Is that the type of deal they are aiming for? No respawns. Just BR with gaining weapons through kills instead of looting?
Epic I don't mind a queue I really don't. But don't make me fucking wait ten minutes for it to say can't connect. Then I have to restart the queue and now it's 15 minutes. Failed to disconnect well fuck you cause now the queue is 30 minutes.

Was top 8, saw 4 giant towers...crept up behind one who I noticed was sniping at someone else, climbed on top and killed him and picked up a rocket launcher he had.

1 of the guys I killed with the guided missile had no clue whatsoever that I could control it because all he did was build a single wall to block it. Feels bad.

Scar and AR pretty damn good at mid range now.
I hit the cycle today 1 win in each mode.
PvE mode is pretty repetitive and dull IMO, I could get into more details if you want but the gist is that the missions are pretty samey and the combat is pretty rote and unsatisfying. The UI is also terribly dense and convoluted for how simple the game is. There's a reason why you don't really see much mention of it other than as a means to grind for V-Bucks if you have it, and it is good for that if you have the patience to do it. Personally I don't even bother with playing the StW part anymore, I just go in for the daily login bonuses as those are occasionally V-Bucks as well. If you want it for that, then wait for it to go on sale.
Got an email from EPIC that someone unsuccessfully tried logging onto my account. Activated 2FA right away. It is scary what some people will do. Thankfully I don't have a credit card attached to the account. I read the nightmare stories on the sub-Reddit about people who haven't heard back from EPIC in months after people buy V-Bucks through their account.
I hope they don't take out/drastically reduce the Vbucks you can earn when Save The World goes free but I feel like they will.

You've literally won like 45% of all games you've played? I've played like 500 and won a single one just the other day. I honestly don't focus on winning unless I happen to be in the top 15 or so but that percentage is nuts. I guess it's about as crazy as me only winning 1 time though...

Keep the crazy shit and weekly updates in casual because I like the experimentation. There is a ranked/competitive mode coming those weapons and items should be restricted to balanced and tested ones.

They could just keep explosive mode in and get rid of the homing and egg guns in regular. Homing is fun af but it's cheap.
And probably make rocket ammo more rare in normal. Or don't do that but limit the ammo you can carry at a time.
Also it may just be that I suck but the regular grenades seem to not do a whole lot. I either don't pick them up at all or randomly throw them quick. Get rid of C4 but make the grenades as powerful maybe.
Mini gun is also junk to to me.

I always finish second to folks that seem to have endless rocket ammo and its my biggest annoyance with the game. Whenever I have a rocket I end up with 3 ammo and that's it, I guess I should kill more people but that would require me to actually be good...
I end up with like 100 every game even without having a launcher itself.
I open loads of ammo boxes every match though.
Sadly I think it stays in the game for all the rocket riding memes. I honestly think it should go. I don't think you should be able to freely scout around in a Battle Royale game. And it's also way too annoying to counter unless you risk shooting it out of the air. Turtling takes up too much time and resources. And if someone has guided missiles flying around WHILE you're already fighting someone else, then you just have to put your fight on hold to turtle up or one of you is getting deaded. Don't get me started on squads...
I don't like it. Nor the vending machines. Scrap both, I say.

goddamn duo mode is probably my favourite but I can't get a win to save my life in it, an annoying reality :(
guided missile is great if two teams have one, it almost becomes a battle of wits then. It's more unbalanced than any other weapon in the game though if you don't have one in terms of turning the tables.

A lot of people skip looting ammo crates for some reason.
Was just telling my wife that. I dont know if they dont realize where/what they are or what. I always check under stairs, break the beds and check shelves and such and inevitably even if a house has been looted there's an ammo crate or two.

I really like it, just not in normal play. It's fun it's just super cheap/unbalanced. I only played a single round of explosive mode but had a lot of fun with it there.
Oh yeah for sure. In that mode it's good. But, in regular play...meh.
For me it really depends on how much time I have to loot and whether or not I need to gear up and fight in the next 30 seconds. Usually my first priority is to get a few guns and shields, so ammo crates go by the wayside until I have that. Then the circle appears and if it's far away, I'll still skip ammo. But if I know I have time to spare, I'll start searching. And I really only care about rocket ammo. When I find a rocket launcher, I actively seek out ammo boxes until I have a good amount. Or I just kill a few people and take their rockets intead.
