Maybe, but it also seems like the UFC has no idea what the commission's rules are. They certainly should have known about the ranking rule before trying to book Felder.

The commission has no idea what the commission's rules are. NYSAC is a complete clusterfuck. Every UFC event in the state so far has had something ridiculous brought up at the last minute by the commission, including one time when they told a woman she couldn't fight because she had breast implants but later decided oh wait that's not actually a rule we have written anywhere.
UFC has handled this entire situation like a clownshoes local org that you'd see on AXS. They deserve getting fucked over.
If only the UFC had kept up to date with the rules on how comfortable fighters should look while cutting weight. All this time they were only concerned with doctors and the results, when they should have asked some fucking politician who doesn't have any qualifications to make the decision.

I'm sure that excuse will get wheeled out if she loses but she said not that long after that she was cool and had no issue with the fight happening.

I figured as much. It's been a long while since he fought at LW.
This card lost enough fights that I went from "paying for this with some buddies!" to "going to a bar with some buddies!"
At the end of it all this card lost 4 fights in the span of 24hrs (2 of them off the main card) now that AL is fighting Khabib.
I will say I hope tickets drop.
If I can get in for under 50 I'd travel to Brooklyn

Commission is a joke. Al could have took off his shorts and made that weight.
Well he weighed in earlier in the day, not knowing he'd be fighting in the main event (not requiring to hit 155). He was probably rehydrated by the time he got the fight. They'd have no way to re-weigh him and make it official.
I hope Khabib wins. Everyone seems to be saying Al is good fighter, so I hope he doesn't underestimate his opponent
