spoilers: factory
What do you do in the factory? I shut down the conveyor belt and sent the drill out for the shortcut but, dude just tells me to go to the other side of the factory to shut it down. Not sure how to get over there tbh, the room with the dude maniacally laughing just goes to a dead end on the left path.

Reading the thread, seems I need flippers. D:

Yup. Get all the guests in the hotel.

I also have no idea what to do about the

north temple room, even with the ghost's help.

90 minutes, 66% item completion, wound up missing
12 coins, 3 tentacles, and that north room of the temple. I thought I figured two of them out since the top left had a bunch of cactus that would change sizes every time I walked in the room and the top right tree got taller. Cutting the bush and running back to get the watering can didn't do anything.

This is my GOTY so far. Such a rewarding experience of discovery, trial and error.

Came here after I saw Sean Murray tweet about it, hadn't heard of it before. Looks cool, but if the premise is gameplay in one-minute bursts, why is this not a mobile-first title? Or mobile at all?

Finished the game with 51% completion. Going back to try and 100% it right now. I will happily by this game again if it were to be ported to other platforms.

Wait what, when you beat the game...

You can't return to before the final boss? I wanted to collect more stuff before the second run.

Finished it (a bit more than two hours). I LOVED every minutes (huhu) of it. Not sure I'll try the NG+ yet but it's truly something special :)

Managed to beat the game during a stream after about 2.5 hours. Was surprised at how short it was, but I really enjoyed my time with it. Really great, tight little game.

Will wait for that version.

If by "that" version you mean Switch, I saw devs say they are looking into it.

Also worth noting that GameMaker, which is what the game was developed with, has only just been supported by Nintendo Switch the past few weeks.

Also just to let anyone know if they are stuck in the game you can @minitmary on Twitter for tips, hints. Such a helpful ghost.

ayy I beat it. Only 42% completed so yeah there was a ton that I missed. Really fun game and I can't wait to jump back in and find stuff. Anyone know the difference with the second run/new game+?

Reread my posts in this thread. Basically,

You get the Broken Sword, which gives you 40 seconds rather than 60. Several puzzles are modified so that their solutions take EXACTLY 40 seconds or require the shoes, which cost 2 additional coins now.

It's really a masterpiece of fine-tuned game design, and anyone holding off because seeing the credits only takes an hour and a half should reconsider.

Okay sweet. I guess I'll try the normal mode again and shoot for 100% and do the new game+ later.

You end up on that side of the river and one of them raises the bridge.

oh, already did that but didn't actually notice it

IIwould have hoped that they let you collect everything you want before the ng+

Really loved my 2 hours with the first run, it's really unique game that i can recommend to almost anyone.

I found a few more coins but still have no idea about that north room in the ruins, the explorer, or how to get to the south part of the mine. Driving me a bit crazy now tbh.

Edit: I SOLVED THE FUCKING PUZZLE ROOM. One coin.

Beat my first run - 68% completion. Only missed one tentacle!

If I wanna go for 100% now, should I do a new normal run or do it on hard mode? Is there a reason to save over your regular game for hard mode?

Is the time limit stressful?
I didn't personally find it stressful. It felt like a part of the puzzle to solve. Like within the 60 seconds time limit you can accomplish almost anything you need to. And if you didn't do it the first time, you have a better idea what to do or where to go on your next 60 seconds. And even at the end
When you are facing the boss, if you run out of the time limit, it sets you right back off in the room with the boss with however much damage you have done to him still being done. Like most bosses, he has a few stages and the stages are not reset when the timer has been.

I think that is the one you find in the haunted house near the cemetary

Also, i really don't like games with timelimits but Minit works perfectly with it.
Nope, that one is
Ghost Hunter
btw, I already got it,
You need to defeat the final boss another time after getting 100% or more.

After 300+ minits I'm down to just one bloody coin left to get. I've somehow managed to end up with 105%, on my journey.
Reason for 105% in spoilers.
I collected a trophy in a hidden room (after exploding several times), the trophy description says gave 110%, so that last coin should take me to 110%.

My refusal to use a guide will kill me dead though, i am more than happy to admit finding one of the items was pure luck as was the puzzle in the shrine, which I ended up experimenting with but had no idea what the actual solution was because of experimentation.

Also I'm now dreaming in black and white pixels so I'm happy to call this a GOTY because of this.

Solid little title!

Wears its Zelda influences well but definitely has a style all of its own.

I'm not sure how well the one minute limit is applied other then just ramping up tension. I can't call to mind any puzzles that play off the minute play time - but the more conventional puzzles definitely make up for this.

I kind of wish they explained a few items a little better too, but other then that it's hard to complain about it.

Got the platinum. I'll admit I needed a guide for the north puzzle room and 3 coins. Second run was especially fun. They change some stuff up, definitely worth playing.

Second run max % spoiler:
Not sure if you have to get the 112% I got in the second run, but I unlocked a third mode. Mary's mode let's you play the game again as the ghost Mary. There is no timer. Didn't see any other immediate difference.

I give up man, someone tell me how to get to the south part of the mine (the one that's blocked off with a pushable block).

Hint: you need an item you don't have yet. You can get it by doing something new in the room with the grinder (the one you first interrupt by pushing 3 boxes into it). Hint 2 in next spoiler.

Hint 2: push the 4th box (the one in the bottom right corner, looks different), into the grinder.

Congrats! In reply to your spoiler,
It must be tied to percentage because I cleared Second Run at 71% and unlocked nothing.

No, you don't need to finish the ng+ with 112%, only berat the game with at least 100%

I think I got way too hyped for this game.

Just finished it and it was okay. I don't think the one minute mechanic makes too much difference. It wears out quickly. Very rarely I thought it built something clever.

The game is pretty much one fetch quest. There are some interesting puzzles for people that are into exploration. But I went in expecting a mixture of Wario Ware and Link's Awakening, and all I got was Link's Awakening's fetch quest.

Gave a quick look into NG+ and it looks like it has potential to be more fun, let's see.

oh my god that temple north puzzle room's solution is ridiculous.

how the hell did people figure that one out

Starting at a spawn house you have to make it the temple room and die there.

Partly by accident:

I went there from the first spawn point and noticed next time I was in there that one of fhe trees that wasn't the cactus had grown as well. Then I realised that each corner had one of the four types of tree in the game, and that each type of tree can be found at each spawn/teleport point.

Great, thanks! Next stupid question:

What do I do in the room full of trophies by the tent spawn point? (I think) I touched every one and they all blew up, and i can barely make it to pick up the watering can and get to the room, so I'm not sure that does anything.

I have a question (and hopefully I did the spoiler tag right):
I'm trying to get the tentacle in the ocean due south of the original spawn house, one screen below the person in the ocean. My current stategy is to lure it north one screen, try and get on land and kill it before it kills me. Is this the correct stategy? It hasn't worked yet, but it may just be a lack of skill on my part.

That isn't a tentacle, that's a shark!
