That Dark Hollow remake sounds fantastic. If that's the quality to be expected, and not an outlier, this game wil have basically hit every thing I was worried about.

Spyro design? Check
Music? Check?
Glitches staying in? Never gonna happen

Not totally sold on how the levels are redesigned, but I'll live

When the game has been seen on the official nintendo site and others are saying to just wait a little for news i think it's o.k.
If they had said it wasn't coming to switch and people still went on and on then that's a different story.

Yeah, it's not port begging to ask if it's coming to your platform of choice, especially when we'd already seen it was originally thought to be a PS4 exclusive. How many people were banned when it was thought to be a PS4 exclusive and people were asking if it was coming to the XB1? Something isn't right here.

Stoked about the Switch version being confirmed (essentially).

I'll be getting 100% in all 3 of em again whenever it drops.

How is that stupid and arrogant exactly? You're still getting the game. Hasn't Nintendo's recent strategy for the Switch been: "Hey look guys, that game you thought would never come to the Switch, is coming to the Nintendo Switch!"

Edit: If anything, everything leaking so easily nowadays is whats making these "surprises" less effective.

Port pegging is banned because it get in the way of actually discussing the game/trailer/etc... It's basically thread shitting. Wither the game make its way to the Switch or not, has nothing to do with why those were warned/banned.

It's also possible the reveal was moved up because of the leak, and would have coincided with an announcement scheduled by Nintendo

Can't wait! The new graphics looks really nice and all, but I'm gonna miss the old graphics for purely nostalgic reasons. Also, I'm a little worried about the soundtrack. Did the original soundtrack really need to be "reimagined"? But, other than that, it looks great!

I guess I'll be filling the ignore list after all. This is just another thread based on some of my fondest childhood memories ruined by people who care more about platforms than the games themselves.

Activision does not revolve around Sony or Nintendo or anybody. They have their own reasons for not talking about a version of a game that does not exist, and we know NOTHING about these reasons - just speculation that is irrelevant to the topic of Spyro.

I didn't realize gaming was so complicated. Excuse me.

That's what I do here on a daily basis. These people need to grow up and start acting like adults. Though it's mostly one side over the other usually...I just don't deal with it period so I just ignore, plain and simple. Good strategy to have if you want to actually enjoy this place.

Give the thread a few days and check back then. A lot of people are still in the mourning stage (which doesn't even make sense since the Switch version is basically confirmed) and that can get real ugly.
