I wonder, given that the Thimbleweed Park Big Box for the Switch is already worth a fortune on eBay. Couldn't a clever collector simply buy the PS4 Big Box and the regular Switch version, and swap the game inside? The boxart on every LRG multi-plat LE has been identical thus far, right?

i'm guessing the cardboard inside is measured to fit a switch case and i think they mentioned they had a sticker mentioning the platform but i don't know if that's just for sealed boxes

I wonder when I'll get my Vita copies of Oddworld and Revenant Saga. lol

UK people on another site got theirs this week so i guess it shouldn't be much longer for you

When I was checking out this week for Thimbleweed, I kept getting a text message about an authorization code for Limited Run Games. Is this something new? I didn't see any spot to put it in and my order seemed to go through ok.

Thimbleweek Park (Switch):

"We've surpassed 10,000.

This is insane and going forward we will continue to use the open pre-order system on Switch.

Thank you, everyone!"

Excellent. I'm excited to get mine.
There are many indies on Switch that I'd love to get in cartridge form. Hope they do FAST, or Stardew Valley in the future.

It's undoubtedly the biggest seller so far for LRG when we factor in CEs and the PS4 versions. Nice to see. Indies work great on portables.

There's still 219 copies available of Thimbleweed for PS4, not too many, but I imagine not ideal either for LRG.

Much less ideal however is the big box version. That one's likely to be a problem: there's 401 of them left, nearly double of the standard release. I guess people aren't seeing the value on that one.

If you have both a PS4 & Switch, the Switch version makes more sense because not only is there the usual hybrid argument, you can use touchscreen controls - which is helpful for a P&C game.

I'm going to preorder the Switch version this Friday. That's great news with how much it has sold so far.

I assume that at least the confirmed releases for the Switch will also be open pre-orders?

It also means that we can assume the regular edition pre-order count started from 0, since the quantity there stands at -7389. Combined with the 3000 already-spoken-for Big Box copies, and that would be yer 10k.

Well, it's only becomes a problem when the stock arrives. Odds are good that they'll be all be ordered by the time the games arrive and shipping begins.

Overall I love open preorders, but it's a bummer we won't get the game until July. Still, if this is the cost we pay to make sure everyone gets a fair shake, it's fine.

Every single time I type "Thimbleweed" I have to backspace and replace the k with a d. Every single damn time, including this one when I was specifically typing about its spelling!

Awesome news on the 10k with plenty of time left. My hope is to grab every one as they release so I hope the pre order continues with future sales... certainly sounds like it will! Well done LR and keep those spines with numbers in the same place please :)

Wow, 10k+ is great! Thimbleweed Park for Switch is the first uncapped order that LRG has put out, isnt it? Or was Skullgirls also uncapped?

Hell yeah, I'm glad to see that my fellow Switch users showed up in force for Thimbleweed. So 10K for standard 3K for the LE. Not too shabby...

Senko no Ronde 2's CE prices too high for me. Standard it is.

Skullgirls and then Ys Origin, I believe.

It probably makes sense due to the costs of cartridges. Bigger order easier margins. The fact that it worked out confirms it!

I have a Switch physical wishlist, but I don't want to jinx it

What other console titles does Degica have that could get a physical release? I feel like pretty much all of them got one by now.

Seems the standard edition of Senko no ronde 2 will be $49.99. Gonna have to go with that one myself since April will be a crazy expensive month for me. Can't wait to open it up and play it. That's what they're for, right? I actually finally got around to opening up Astebreed and Jotun just recently and had a great time with both. With the exception of Night Trap all the games I've opened up and played have been solid.

Senko no Ronde is a pass for me. At $50 there are other titles I'd rather have (not a dig on LRG at all, just the fact of the matter). TBF, it'd probably be a pass at $30 too.

Great news about the preorder figure, let's hope it's not just the novelty of a Switch game talking but a lasting trend :)

I've taken the PS4 version of Thimbleweed but now I'm debating a double-dip since I've read time and time again it could be more suited to the touchscreen ...

I think Delusibeta is right to think the total is 10k, with a 7/3k split between standard and collector editions.

Hey guys, I really need some help.
Does anyone have scans of the backs of some LRG PS4 games? Futuridium, Lost Sea, or Dragon Fantasy?

I was selling the only LRG PS4 games I had bought (first 10) and someone returned 3 of the games to me. No problem.... but there's something weird about these.... I think the sent me back bootlegs.
They're Y sealed, but the covers look odd, not quite as colorful, and the back text and barcode just don't look as sharp as it should. I'm an idiot for not noticing sooner I think.

WTF

Can't post something like this without posting some pics for everyone to judge :P.

I'm just too pissed off right now.
When I opened up the package it reeked of cigarettes. In my gut there was something not 100% right about them but the damn smell distracted me.
I put them in a box with some charcoal bags to eat the odor and after a few days went ahead and gave him a refund minus 20% for "damage". The smell did lessen, but I wasn't going to give a full refund. That was this morning.

Now looking at the games closer... ugh. So stupid.
