I can't see it going anywhere other way, I know Max says he cuts a lot but still Khabib is a fucking beast to anyone else at 155 let alone someone at 145 moving up

Max has great range, arguably better than most Lightweights, and experience in five round fights but... versus Khabib? ...without a full camp? You have to give him a very slim chance here.
I'll still watch the PPV for Thug Rose but fuck man, I'm so disappointed.

For reference, if Khabib doesn't make weight, not only is this main event completely meaningless, but the interim champ is still out indefinitely with at least one torn knee ligament, so the division's back to waiting on Conor to decide if he wants to fight ever again for less money if fans want to see a title defended in the division (which historically has literally never happened in multiple title reigns for him, so definitely not a good bet)
Aprils Fools jokes prefaced that they are not defeats the purpose of them.
I think it takes a lot more credulity to believe that the UFC is capable of coordinating with several fighters and the MMA media at large to successfully pull off a complicated April Fools joke than it does to accept that the cursed matchup has behaved in a consistent, predictable manner and fallen apart at the last minute for the 12th or so time.

Ricardo Lamas? Depends on your definition of decent. I wonder how much that even matters when you're facing Khabib. The game plan is going to be the same as every Holloway fight anyway. Keep it standing and control distance.
Dana wouldn't want Conor to fight on 6 days notice. He wants the weeks of building hype and promos when Conor fights.
I'd call Lamas a decent wrestler. But yeah, he's never been tested against someone like Khabib.
