Getting ready for the x, copied all my games to hard drive and prob reset my S in the morning.
I'm going to try my luck tomorrow morning as a walk-in at GameStop. I wish that somebody else was offering as good a trade-in value for the One S because I'm concerned about their inventory per store
Does anyone know if the Dolby Atmos license that you can buy for headphones, is linked to an account or to a single console?
i bought a 4k tv last week , cant wait to have my xbox x tomorow, i dont know if anybody can help but when i put my hdr on my tv display is on 1080p but when turn hdr off my display is ar 4k is that normal?
Account, you have to rerun the app first time for it to download it.
Just got off the phone with a B.B. sales associate at the store where i preordered for in store pickup. I was inquiring on the email I received about my Scorpio edition not being ready for in store pick up and asked if i could still pick up in the morning when they opened. She said most likely not and she heard shipments for Scorpio edition were delayed by a week? Anyone else run in this? I called their customer service line and of course they weren't very helpful at all.
Its linked to your account. I use it on all my W10 tablets and my Xbox's (IIRC its up to 10 devices)
AMAZON UK: Has anyone else's order not updated yet? Money hasn't been taken from my account and it hasn't been dispatched yet. It still says it will be here on the 7th though.

I've just bought a pair of HyperX Cloud II's. I think there's a pair called Cloud X specifically for the X1. AFAIK though, you can Atmos with any headset.
I wonder if we got any RE boys in there. looks dope tho, reminds me of when i stood in line for Xbox One at Best Buy, what a fun night that was we were let into the store and everyone was just talking and playing games, I remember they had a couple XO demos set up along with WiiU and PS4 so everyone was just playing that while we waited like an extra hour or two to receive our consoles. First time I ever did that and with my dad too.
I managed to find that when mucking about, seems to work great for transferring the million Rock Band DLC files over. We'll see if all the saves and such are there when it's done.
I guess i can try the trial when i get my X. I thought you needed like Atmos branded headphones or something, if not cool to see i can use that feature too.
Finally received an e-mail from Best Buy Canada at 7:30 p.m. ET confirming that my pre-order has been shipped! No idea when it's supposed to arrive because the tracking number doesn't show up in Purolator's system yet.
Currently 5:32pm. Amazon said it would deliver my external HDD by 9m today, Hurry up! i need to be X ready by tomorrow!
Purolator always delivers around 3pm for me, obviously it will be different for you but i wouldn't worry about any delays they have always been consistent in my experience.

Yeah, they're usually around mid-afternoon for me too. My OG Xbone was delivered on launch day by BB, so I'm pretty confident that they'll come through again.

I saw the regular X's and the Scorpio X's when I was at Best Buy on Saturday. They were all stacked behind the counter, and I could tell they had both types. They definitely got them (Houston area... not sure where you are). My order says "preparing" on the main page, but when I click on it, it says "ready for pick up November 7th" so... I'm going to swing by and see if they're actually opening tonight. The website said they're not participating in the midnight opening, but a girl on the phone said they were, so... I dunno.

I think most of the issues on the S are in software rather than hardware, and the blu-ray app gets updated pretty regularly. Probably best to ask on a movie-by-movie basis to see about others' experiences.
Been playing around with mine all morning and am pretty impressed. Really solid feeling build quality out of the box and the enhanced 4k assets really add some pop. Make sure to check out that Insects demo also as it really highlights the differences of HDR and 4k assets. Very useful for those with unbelieving significant others.
Has ANYONE gotten a shipping notification from GameStop? My Scorpio Edition hasn't shipped yet and I paid $16 for release date shipping.
