I've been hearing shit about John K for years in terms of how shitty he was to work with. His animation blog is also insufferable in how up his own ass he is. The fact that a man with his reputation would also be a predator of some sort doesn't faze me one bit.

I was always super duper uncomfortable with the idol worship of John K in some circles, especially considering some of the really terrible things he's said and the various stories that have gone around about him during the years. This is like example #135324432 of someone who is universally known as super conceited and hard to work with also being a sexual harasser. I hope people take note.
Also it was heartbreaking to see Katie Rice is one of the victims. I've loved her work since I first saw her on the PA reality show and Camp Weedonwantcha is a thousand times better than anything John K has done, as far as I'm concerned.

Both victims went to the cops, who dismissed their cases because the statue of limitations was up. They went public because it was the only way to bring attention to his transgressions.

I'll say this regarding Ren & Stimpy -- It was best when John K was there to push the edge and Nickelodeon was there to reel him in. But, once he left Ren & Stimpy after Season 2, Nickelodeon by themselves was still able to put out 3 pretty damn good seasons. Meanwhile, when the opposite happened, and John K made Adult Party Cartoon without Nickelodeon, the results were basically unwatchable. Absolute garbage.
