Did they give anyone in the main cast new attacks at all in DB Super? Only one I can think of off the top of my head is Goku's One-Inch Punch which technically originated in DBZ: RoF.
I was rewatching some clips from Dragon Ball today, and... Man, one of the weirdest things to me is how the World Martial Arts Tournament goes from having people completely fine watching fighters like Goku and Tenshinhan using their ki abilities, to in only a span of a few years, being bewildered and believing they're just light tricks and shit.
Like, I get the WMAT exploded after Hercule and stuff in popularity in-universe, but it still makes little sense to me.
Also, god damn, I forgot how good the OST was in DB. My favourite of the three good anime series, that's for sure.

You know I really wish 17 and 18 had gotten actual names after the Cell arc. Doesn't really make sense to me why they would just stick with the model numbers given to them by the creepy old fart who kidnapped and experimented on them
I wish Freeza still went to his previous forms again and found a way to use them, like say they each had different advantages and disadvantages. Like say his first is just a regular base form, second form has the most physical power, third is his fastest while his final form was all around the best sans Golden but Golden takes a bigger toll on his body. Just something to make them cool rather them being obsolete these days. Freeza never goes all out unless he needs to these days, he toys with his opponents so it would be nice if he's like "fuck these other forms, I'm staying in these previous ones because I don't need em for now and oh yeah, they're stronger too" or something.
Remember when 2nd form Freeza was a universe buster? Good times.
They've got real names. 17 is named Lapis and 18 is named Lazuli according to Toriyama. It just hasn't been said in the series which is a bit weird.
