If you're still seeing 0x803f8001 / "not available in your account", try forcing your cache to reset ASAP by running wsreset from the start menu and re-launching the store again after.
I like this idea! Nice one.I had an idea today that I thought was brilliant. Then I couldn't remember what it was. I remember now! You should be able to hide in barrels. Barrels on islands, floating in the sea, in enemy ships, etc. It would give more options for stowing away on vessels, and for solo players to hide from galleons and whatnot when being pursued. When inside the barrel, you could peek out (or have the hiding entirely in third person around the barrel). You can't perform any actions when inside, just hide (maybe eat bananas). Other players would only know you are inside by stabbing or shooting the barrel, at which point you would be forced out of hiding.

On Xbox I think you can force a cache reset by rebooting the console.
Afaik you need to push the xbox button for 10 seconds constant when plugged out. To be on the save side.On Xbox I think you can force a cache reset by rebooting the console.
Forgot to add to this one of my most requested features... the ability to get rep by just doing certain actions, and specifically for beating the voyage. So some people are getting disheartened by bad solo sloop experiences. Saying there should be pve servers, or sloop only servers which I am against, because I want to have a shared cohesive world, and a mix of ships helps spice the game up.
1. Needs to be anti griefing in place. The best way is to offer you more options in the ferry of the damned. Allow you to scuttle your ship and spawn in another region.... and give you an option to migrate servers. This happens in other games all the time "yo this team is stomping us let's find another match"
2. Allow you to bury your treasure. If you see a ship bearing down on you there should be a way to bury the treasure and maybe give yourself a crude map to it. This is such a piratey feature!
3. Tune the experience better for solo players. The sloops already fill slower than a galleon. Make solo sloops fill slightly slower than a duo. Other things include making pigs live longer, snakes charmed longer, skeletons less beefy (excluding forts)
Same! I love the look of it. Does anyone else know if this patch added the feature where you start with the cosmetics you had equipped last session, or has that always been around? I noticed last time I didn't have the new tankard equipped that I had recently purchased, but when I booted up this time, it was equipped.

So for instance, you will get rep upon finding the treasure, killing the captain, and capturing the animal.
In order to get the money, you need to turn it in. They will give you some bonus rep on top of that. This way, if
You get attacked you don't feel like you lost EVERYTHING. You still keep that rep.
Hi!The Game Pass issue should now be resolved - both the ability to download and play, and the 0x80070005 error code some of you were previously seeing while downloading today's update.
Hi!
Can you please push this up the chain, along with my asking for an option to toggle on/off PC players on xbox?
Needless to say that for people like me this is a complete dealbreaker., hence what I ask you for.
Thank you
:)
This was one of the reasons The Division lost so many players in its first few months - the way they tried to mix PvE and PvP content in their end game at the time (the dark zone) - which just led to a lot of griefing and harassment which drove players away from the game. You had squads of PvP players running around ganking other PvE players and stealing their loot. The game population didn't start to pick back up until the devs started to add end game PvE game content that did not have forced PvP in it.The problem imo is that you can't leisurely explore or take your time on a quest. Its all rush rush rush before someone comes by and sinks your ship parked off shore. Not the best experience imo. Constant stress of a PVP attack.
I'm pretty sure they are, but I'm not just reporting, I am asking for a specific thing. Yes?

Yeah I have never seen a game mix both play types successfully. I don't expect Rare to either. This was one of the reasons The Division lost so many players in its first few months - the way they tried to mix PvE and PvP content in their end game at the time (the dark zone) - which just led to a lot of griefing and harassment which drove players away from the game. Even if the game was content packed, it'll be interesting to see how the player count changes long term, it's very difficult to mix and match pve/pvp minded players in the same zone, especially when they can steal each other's loot. It's the kind of thing that drives players away en masse.
server side patch later this week will resolve it.
Because rare said that non legendary status players will be allowed to go into the legendary pirate hideout and do quests with them. Which means they'll be leveling any new vendor/cosmetic as well otherwise why would you be allowed to do the legendary voyages at all?You haven't stated any problem.
What makes you think players who don't have Legendary status will have access to Legendary cosmetics? They are just going on Legendary Voyages w/ legendary pirates, earning gold and XP faster. This doesn't meet shops will sell them Legendary Gear.
If you steal Legendary loot, then at least one pirate in the crew was legendary.
Being able play with a Legendary players, isn't the same as being Legendary yourself... just like hanging out with a celeb for a day isn't the same as being a celeb. You aren't even guarunteed to have such an opportunity. The idea is such that people will relish this opportunity... which makes it special.
Ok, thanks.Yeah I have never seen a game mix both play types successfully. I don't expect Rare to either.

What about performance wise on the X? Have you guys noticed anything ?
Lol, that was a good description .

That must have felt incredibly satisfying. I imagine the rest of your crew had a good laugh. Was in yet another fierce stronghold fight. Managed to sink a galleon and board another one. Raised their anchor and set sail just to get them away from the stronghold and the boss. It seemed like they didn't realize I was an enemy at first so they let me control the ship for a small moment and I sent their ship directly into a kraken!
Got the key, looted the place and sailed away with the loot. Best experience I've had so far. RNG was on our side bigtime.
I just got my black dog pack 10 minutes ago from an Xbox live message. So, for those who are worried they won't get it, you will eventually.
By chance if you don't want it...
There is a setting on the Xbox version of Sea of Thieves for having chat audio in the headset or tv. Maybe SOT pc has a similar setting. Is there a way to chat on PC through a headset while having game audio go through the tv speakers? I use a xbox controller and the mic (not headset) and it funnels everything to the one earpiece
Not for the Solo Sloop though. I hope he attacked first.Friend and I just robbed a sloop with a single player. Netted a villainous, two disgraced and a hateful skull. Feels good
