Kill The Bad Guy is actually pretty fun. I enjoyed it and we sign games we enjoy, not sure how many times we have to say that.

Rabi Ribi is slated for May. Also, pushing Salt and Sanctuary to get released asap as well.

Was S+S Vita ever patched? Platinumed it a long time ago and havent picked it up since. There were a ton of bugs...hell, they even left a debug menu in it

The European version of Rabi-Ribi is pretty cheap now, I imported it a few months ago. Right now it's $18 shipped from 3rd-Party sellers through Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0757978VK

For Thimbleweed Park, will pre-orders be open for 2 weeks like Skullgirls? I don't remember hearing a specific length and the page just says 'for a limited time'.

They're better at communicating some stuff, like they still haven't received games they sold early February and it's almost April.

Holy hell, really? I'm okay with buying a game and getting it 2 weeks later but I'm not interested in waiting 2 months for games. The whole Skullgirls Vita situation left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't want to play games months later, I want to buy them and play them now.

I take it you don't pre-order?

Well hot damn. Don't know if I can bother with another Yesterday Origins situation... maybe I'll just buy the PEGI version of Rabi-Ribi since it'll save me some money.

I don't preorder at places that take my money right away. Except for LRG.

I guess you haven't bought any limited printings from Gaijinworks either?

With the exception of Kickstarter, and for those people that plan on moving within the time frame, I still feel like I'm such a minority of not caring in having to wait. The games DO come, but this is one of the single biggest complaints I see. It's still a limited printing, and not like something you can just pick up at a later time. I guess I'm just happy to be able to own it, even if it takes a bit.

Ugh, another March release? Had this been announced earlier I could have put aside some money. It wasn't, and therefore I haven't. I was glad to be able to make "Momodora" work since I was thinking this whole time that March 30 would only be "Thimbleweed Park".

Shame about it since I'm a sucker for isometric games, but in this case I better not check out any more details...I might like what I see. Is it really that bad a game? Screenshots looked nice enough, and the concept sounded fun from the little I read.

EDIT:

Did you enjoy Pixel Gear?

I dunno....I sure did, and I gladly snagged up the disc release. It's a pretty game and fun in short bursts.

Uh, SLG removed all mentions of Bunny Must Die from Twitter, Facebook and their own store, as well as the time counter for the Saturday release. That doesn't sound good.

The link itself on the store is password protected and even the goddamn banner image was replaced. There are no mentions anywhere of an hold up, postponing, or anything for that matter. It just seems like it's been erased from history.

Another Limited Run Games announcement incoming, I guess.

I guess I should clarify.
If at all possible, I don't pre-order at any places that take my money right away.
Currently, that's only LRG.

Obviously this bothers a lot of people, including me, as it's the one of the biggest complaints you see.

Some of the delays really are just Sony and make no sense to us. For the most part we are ordering games in advance to avoid this like the old days. Some of our regular contacts at Sony left and the new ones aren't as quick unfortunately.

Not really, no. I also buy LRG stuff so I can actually open it and play it. Collecting is the secondary purpose for me. I don't have any delusions of hoarding a bunch of sealed games thinking its going to pay off and send my kids to college one day. Also, there's generally so much coming out these days that if I want to play something, its best to pick it up while I'm interested in it because in just a month or sometimes less, other interesting things are coming out that will battle for my attention and limited free-time.

Ok, I get that. While it's a money thing for some people, I was wondering why there was such a need to get the item immediately. I don't buy to sit on a shelf either, but I buy these limited things now so when I do want to play them, they will be there. But yes, limited free time is very restraining. I'm just... used to potential delays on things I buy, as long as I receive thrm at some point.

I initially didn't mind the waiting, but it becomes problematic when its cumulative as they have new things each week.

Yeah, I know it sounds crazy, but it also ties into not wanting to hear about games too early before release as well. For example, when Far Cry 5 got announced, I thought it looked great and I was excited about it. Now here we are just shy of a year later and I've really cooled on it because I've got other stuff I'm into.

I realize there is a lot of the publishing process that remains outside the reach of LRG, so I hope I don't come off as another whiner because it seems like LRG has a ton of those already. I was just surprised to see games that weren't pre-orders still hadn't shipped despite being up for sale almost 2 months ago. I am excited to own Momodora this Friday, but the last time I bought an LRG game (Night Trap) I got it like 2 weeks later and so the thought of getting Momodora in 2 months from now was kind of jarring. But hey, they haven't said anything other than that it will be on sale so maybe I shouldn't jump to conclusions.

Seems Senko no ronde 2 is now officially announced by Degica. "There will be a standard PlayStation 4 disc alongside a limited edition with art book, soundtrack CD and a materials DVD." Details on the LE contents here. Pricing and date TBD. *Prepares wallet*.

It's probably another 60USD standard, 100USD collector's edition.
I'm hoping they can follow the old pricing still with it being a PS4-exclusive for LRG but it should be either $50 or $55 for the regular since it's $40 on PSN. The LE contents is the same as in the Japanese LE so it's not newly designed stuff so I'm hoping it doesn't raise the price too much. Maybe LimitedRunGames can answer if the artbook and DVD are fully translated?

is the artbook an actual artbook or is it one of those lame 49 page books that everyone seems to keep putting in LEs?

I personally like getting LRG releases shipped whenevs, getting a random surprise package after work is awesome. As long as it's within like 6-7 months of when it went up for order, I'm good.
