Not a tutorial really, just prompts on screen that introduce you to the controls and tell you about how to get voyages. Tells you just enough while still fitting into the"do whatever you want" aesthetic of the game

Your boat was damaged by the storm. When you hear wood planks flying they are coming off the hull of your ship. You need to patch holes and bail out the water with your bucket.

This is the perfect game for the 'looking for group' feature. My son played a game with 3 randoms that were all into pokemon. He said they were fun guys and he's added them as friends.
I never took GB serious after i saw them play Quantum Break as a cover shooter.

One thing I absolutely don't like is because how the game is build, it doesn't even save ( it seems) how much wood, or bananas or cannonballs you had before you turn off. When you start again, it's like a brand new ship with the same standard number on materials.

But I just mean beyond simply navigating a boat. My friend and I had just finished a bounty, and were deciding what to do next. We could make for a new island and look for more loot, or go back to an outpost to turn in what we had. We hashed out our plan in seconds on voice - "we'll let's roll the dice on a quest and see which is closer, that or an outpost" and off we went.
Yeah, this should only reset when youve been sunk. Hopefully you get to keep resources when you become a legend, although I doubt it.
Each time my boat sank I spawned next to an island with plenty of planks, bananas, and cannonballs. It doesn't seem too punitive in that regard, and you do start with enough of each to get by.
After installing SoT from the NZ store, can I switch back to USA? Seems like I'm downloading from a server in NZ/Aus because the download is pretty slow. If I stay in NZ will it put me in an oceanic server?
