I believe!
Nein mein kyodai, doth thou posses a Shogunate history mastery degree? Then thus thou hath not the presumption to demand an "Ishin" translation.
Have you guys listened to the Q&A with Daisuke Sato? There was some new Yakuza 7/Shin Yakuza info in there. Daisuke Sato said that the game will take place in locations never seen before in a Yakuza game (plus Kamurochô I assume). He also said that the game takes place after Yakuza 6 and that players will see some known characters (the question was about the future of Akiyama). I wrote a news post about all this for Gameblog: http://www.gameblog.fr/news/74143-yakuza-7-decors-personnages-son-producteur-donne-les-premier.
Have you played Kiwami 2? As they changed the Cabaret Club for K2 to be basically identical to 0's, as opposed to the way it was done in Yakuza 2 and 3 (well, the Japanese version of 3 anyway). The cabaret management in Yakuza 2 was easily the most fun I've ever had. 0's doesn't come close.

I personally disagree though, Kiwami 2 was much better for getting a 0 style club system. I had loads of fun with it and the storylines and returning characters where as I never really got on with Yakuza 2's version.
I know, I just didn't really like that stuff. I preferred the way Kiwami 2 and 0 did it myself, I found it more fun gameplay wise. I had the issue where I actually got the Yakuza 2 version into an unwinnable state because I chose the wrong options and didn't have enough money to change them. Tanks the entire side story which sucked :( Ended up just using a guide for the best choices. Ditto with Yakuza 3's version.I mean the level of customization. Changing the furniture, carpet, decor, adhering to client tastes. It felt like you were the owner, not a shift manager.
I managed around it somehow. Think I just wound up pawning stuff. I enjoyed the relaxed pace of the management system, I guess.I know, I just didn't really like that stuff. Wasn't your club money separate from your main cash reserve? Or was that just for profits? As I don't remember ever getting any extra cash to use in the mode. But its far from an ideal scenario. But that was the old games to a tee - there were some side stories in 2 especially that could be failed so easy if you didn't do exactly the right thing right away! (like the surprise party side story). Kinda glad Kiwami 2 relaxed things in that regard.I managed around it somehow. Think I just wound up pawning stuff. New location is always good but I'd like them to expand Kamurosho first. Please let me cross Showa dori street already. Adding Shinjuku Sataion is also a great idea :DHave you guys listened to the Q&A with Daisuke Sato? There was some new Yakuza 7/Shin Yakuza info in there. I support this idea. Also, fully explorable Kamurocho hills please. Its been a tease for so darn long. Its finished as of Yakuza 5, yet because of 6's cutbacks you couldn't get to it :( I want Shin RGG to correct that. I would be very happy if they did this. I'd probably spend an hour marveling at the subway system like I did in GTA 4 (which was actually pretty impressively built). I'd love the series to expand the game world out more in that way - introducing more areas in closer proximity to each other.Having the Yamanote in Yakuza would be pretty great. Imagine Kamurocho blended with the subway system in P5.
Built on the same engine as Yakuza 6 and i believe they made some improvements too. Also, with regards to Kiwami 2: Its built on the same tech/engine as Yakuza 6 right? Are there transition scenes for fights like in 0 or are the seamless like in 6?

Seamless just like in Y6.
You can save at any point in the game by simply opening the pause menu and using save (Kiwami 1 also has this option btw).Nice, I thought that was the case but wasnt sure. Do we know how the Saving/Loading works in 6 and Kiwami 2? As in does it require the save and system save that previous games required even on PS4?

Another Y0 question: Regarding the different combat styles, are there instances when its recommended to switch stances? Are there enemy types where one fighting stance is much more effective compared to another? So far ive been using Brawler mainly and only switching jsut to check out the other stances. Havent really seen a need for the other 2 yet.
It's still available on Amazon JP, Play-Asia, Nippon-Yasan.Also, is that Kiwami 2 JP Limited Edition still available new anywhere? I think I gotta pick that up now that we aren't getting any kind of CE for the localisation.
So is the steelbook already sold out in NA? It says it's unavailable on Amazon.
Huh, I've never seen this. I know there are different steel books of 4 (Kuro and Shiro, I think?), but yeah, this is new to me.How rare is this Ichiban Yakuza 4 box / pre-order bonus thing?
Any of y'all have this?

I will post this here because none of the other thread gave a single fuck.
"One question: Can the localization team use OG songs from Y2 like "Block Head Boy", "West Insanity", "The Grudge" and the most badass:
Because "Push Me Under Water Remix" all the time just plain sucks."
it'd be super cool if there was an option to switch between the original Y2 soundtrack and the Kiwami 2 version on the fly, but that's unfortunately not what happened.
1's steelbook was the standard edition of the game though. 2's is a special edition with who knows how many copies printed.so apparently i missed the kiwami 2 steelbook at amazon? they'll have that in stock again soon hopefully, yeah? 1's is not hard to find

Goddammit just realized that you don't have to do everything to get 100% in Y0, it only needs to be the CP points.
Here i was completing the full list, got all the heat moves and was trying to get every weapon and pocket circuit part and its not need, damn i did a lot of hours that didn't needed to do.
Oops! 100% requirements vary from game to game. Yakuza 5 actually requires you to do absolutely everything and that unsurprisingly takes a long time! Yakuza 3 is slightly more merciful in some regards, in only requiring 100% mini game completion (but that in and of itself is incredibly tough) while Yakuza 6 only requires you to complete a small chunk of the completion list (making it the easiest one to clear).
