Prices on Nurses were about what I expected. Hope I can get an LE and Kero in one go :x Hard to determine how fast/slow the LE will sell, though. I was surprised when La Mulana's LE took a bit longer to sell through, with the SE selling faster.

Man, I think I'm going to break my CE collecting finally. It's just getting stupid for me now.

A color manual would be cooler than anything in that CE.

Whelp, Nurse Love Addiction is going to be expensive for us Canadians. $64.99 USD (with shipping) which equates to $84.XX CAD... /cry

This one comes with more stuff than some of our previous CE's, so what is it on this one that made you stop?
I'm mostly speaking personally. I only like CEs to have at most a CD and artbook/manual. I have no use for stickers, big boxes, and little trinkets.

I realize that others probably do, so it's not really your fault.

It's just getting too expensive for me, and I have no room for all these big boxes. This is why I've expressed in the past why I like the EastAsiaSoft products because of the size, and contents.

Edit: for this CE and this type of game in general though, you need an art book/manual.

Any time a Vita game doesn't explicitly feature PSTV support on the front cover I'm automatically out. Game isn't really my cup of tea anyway but after getting fucked over on Stranger's Wrath HD I'm way more cautious of my LRG Vita purchases.

Other two games look dope, will definitely pick those up.

Just Kero Blaster for me this week. If I hadn't just grabbed the Oregon Trail handheld I might have considered Organ Trail, but I'm good on the genre now. Was never interested in Nurse Love.

Well I'm eating my words that NLA was probably not gonna be more than $40 :3
To be fair it's consistent with their habit to price the game digital +$10 so I'm not surprised either. I just took a risky bet ;)

I'm not buying any CE but that would be great if LRG could also put online one picture with all or part of the goodies lined up like Indiebox used to do.

So conflicted about NLA. Want it, but $50 seems steep.

I'm used to paying £25-30 for my VN's from Shopto lol.

Also, what's all this?

EU store atleast says it's PSTV compatible, i think i've seen josh mention in the past they usually don't put the banner on the cover because of it cluttering up

does this mean Volume PS4 is soon? even people that ordered it on Vita with skullgirls got it sooner lol

I'm not sure why the EU store says that, but I'm pretty sure all versions of Stranger's Wrath HD aren't PSTV compatible.

oh sorry i should've been more clear, i meant Nurse Love Addiction

Only Kero Blaster for me this time. NLA is just too much for something I've never heard of before this.

Doug, if you are reading this, please, please make Nurse Love Addiction one per customer, at least on the 10AM release. Your print run is pretty small and I feel there is going to be a bloodbath for this one.

except production costs isnt anywhere close to 10 dollars on top, but that is what companies want you to believe in the end. Like the 10 dollar switch tax..

So who designs the box art? Buys the cartridges? Makes the sticker label? What about the empty cases? Shipping? Packaging? Credit card fees? Customer service? Website storage?

They likely make $3-4 per release. Its very tight. Thankfully there are plenty of people who feel they need to own a "physical" cart.

Conflicted on this when half this forum is saying they are skipping it.....

Well, I'm definitely not skipping it but I'm afraid to speak up....don't wanna be mistaken for some disgruntled customer again. :-p

The price is hefty but I've never tried a visual novel before so this is a good a time as any.

So what's the rest of March look like exactly? 23rd has the as of yet unannounced VR game and 30th will be "Thimbleweed Park" a.k.a. unannounced Switch game only? :)
Nothing on top of that, correct?

So we could do this.

Instead of listing 70% of the stock during the first batch we could just do 50% and still leave it at 2 per customer to see if there really is demand. If there is we can list the other 50% during the second batch and change it to 1 per customer.

That way seems the safest without us being stuck with a ton.

That sounds fine to me, especially since I'll have to miss the first batch.

I'm very keen to know this - there's no way I can pay out for multiple releases over the next two weeks after this Friday's triple launch. And this is coming from someone who has NEVER missed a LRG release thus far.

Of the 3 releases this Friday, which do you think will sell out last? I think I might need to split my order in two so I don't get hit by customs...

Where are you based? They ship with customs prepaid to most countries.

I'm in Singapore, which I believe is not covered by that program. Either way I'm only required to pay local import tax if the declared value of the package (including shipping) is above a certain dollar amount so I should be safe if I split my order in two.

Wait, so open preorders are for the switch version only?

Ooh, nice! I've heard good things about this, though I'll still have to check videos and reviews before buying. Trying to run a tighter collection with the Switch.

Hopefully next month's Switch game is Golf Story. I'm 100% in for that.

Happy for thimbleweed! (but I'd keep expectations in check because the ending of that game is... divisive).

Will be skipping the nurse game. Zero interest in that type of stuff.

Would love to see the cave too, really enjoyed that game back in the day. It's difficult because it's a last gen game though.

Pre-orders make sense for the first Switch release. Not too familiar with Thimbleweed Park, will have to read up on it.

Just discovered Super Rare Games today so that cost me an arm and a leg... not LR announces their first Switch game... welp might as well add to the collection. Hope pre orders go up soon.

Yeah makes sense for Switch. There's I'm sure a ton of Switch full-set collectors around, and Switch people thirsty... so this definitely warrants a pre-order for just the one format. Curious what the final numbers will be.
