Zissou Nevermind, saw it's on his Twitter. Checking that led me to learn that Majin Buu has an invincible reversal that leads into full combos. Majin Buu is without a doubt this game's Birdie / MODOK.

I think he's got a lot going for him to be honest. But I'm not good enough to fully take advantage of it, and I recognize that other characters maybe have more. I dunno. Love him anyway!

ohhh man I cant believe this. I figured out why I am dropping combos like a crackhead. It's My beloved arcade stick ;( Its just too finicky for this game or something
I just happened to play at work today where I use a pad and thought it fishy when I watched the replay and noticed something- there's not a single dropped combo. I dominated so much so Trunks (my point character) just held it down on his own.
I get home and I'm dropping combos in the lab. Switch to pad not a single dropped combo
what the heck--- wonder if I'm supposed to calibrate my stick or something this sucks. I prefer a stick ;(

oh btw this is unusual for a fighting game to handle swapping controllers so well. Now that I have no trust in my Stick I'm trying out different pads. Game handles it marvelously like a console fighter would- you can plug'n'play different sticks and it all works like butter.

Grapple-style stuff looks nice. Wonder how much of that is auto-combo VS actual specials?
The Multi-shot Fireball looks like a nice lockdown. Please Don't let that be his assist?
That mid-air super looks... like DLC Jankiness. Like a weird re-purposing of the basic understanding of Frieza's "Vanish in the Vacuum of Space" Death Ball. I have to admit, I'd expect a finishing super from BROLY to be much more impressive.
"HAHAHAhaaaaaHAHAHAhahhaAHA!" I believe they accurately portrayed his verbal intelligence, so there's that! (I always welcome a Vic Mignogna to games, though.)
Looking forward to seeing him in REAL action. This teaser leaves a lot of questions, again.
I play this team and as far as I know, no one in tournament noteworthy plays it except Dogura. He's a Japanese player too and gets overshadowed by Go1 whenever people talk about players so I don't feel like he's getting a ton of attention despite him being godlike.
16 and the neutral in this game are still kinda killing my enjoyment of it though. The online lag makes this game's neutral one of the scrubbiest I've played.
I haven't seen a Broly movie in a while but does he look a bit too green?

Alright, the Yamcha assist is still finicky, but I got a basic concept working that still allows me to bring in Piccolo off of a midscreen touch with 21. Timing could be touched up a little, and I'll have to come up with something for her other routes just in case I hit-confirm another way, but I at least know off of 2M and 5LL I can get the "be an asshole with Piccolo" in the corner game started. I might still be able to make this work.
EDIT: Almost works as a corner carry, too. if I don't mind using a meter I can end with Piccolo's j214H if I don't think I'll make the corner.

Won a match once 1x3 using sparking Golden Frieza. My erection is still going strong.
Haven't seen him release a full list (would be curious to see though). Beerus 2M is saying "I hope the opponent doesn't super dash during the 47 minutes it takes for this move to complete" and then it's DBZ so of course they super dash.

You can summon him with Waffle. He's just a waffle, AFAIK.
This game is so sick, but I REALLY want to be able to punish super dash and raw tags in general with Vanish into a wall bounce combo in general. I HATE RAW TAGS.
My one worry for this game is that they take the ASW approach to balancing it - a year+ between patches. That's a no-no in a game like this.
That Broly trailer sure is short. I can only hope that they kinda do the same for Bardock next week (tease on Monday, trailer on Tuesday) and then release both on the 27th, along with the online fixes. At least that's how I think it should go, but hey, who knows.
Speaking of patches, that Search Replay they added with the latest patch is, like many things in this game, a nice idea with poor execution. Just like with the leaderboards, I'm baffled that there's no tab or anything to see how my PSN friends are doing in the game or even watch their replays. There's no way to search replays by player name so the only way I've found to watch friend replays is to first find them in a lobby, go to their player card, follow them, and then go to Followed Players replays. It sucks that every other game handles stuff like this way more easily but here it takes too many unnecessary steps to do simple things.
Given that they've already announced a season pass with 8 characters for this year, a first for ASW, I'd like to believe that they won't go that route with balance patches, but you're right, that worry kinda never goes away.

I just played with a friend and he said my name is purple. Don't really see why it should be. Last night the connection was pretty bad and a few of my matches got dropped but in my 230 total ranked matches (completed ones anyway) maybe 10 total have disconnected due to server stuff (I assume the game cannot differentiate between quits and server drops).
Is that really enough? Do we know exactly what number/percentage of disconnects or quits causes a purple name? Will it just go away if you play normally for a while?

I just checked the price of the season pass, in my region it is almost as expensive as the full game and it doesn't include the music pack?? Fuck this. If you want to know how close the two prices are together, imagine if the season pass were 50 US dollars.
I have no idea how exactly purple names work. I too played with a friend and both of us have had a ton of disconnects due to the busted online, way more than 10 for sure, and neither of us had a purple name. I would assume it goes away after a while but given that the exact conditions you need to meet in order to get it are somewhat unclear, I don't think anybody knows how exactly to get rid of it.
The GO1 vs Sonic Fox match is going to be legendary, I can't wait.

I'm surprised there was no sight of any sort of homage to that scene where he charges right through a huge ki blast and smashes the shooter. Maybe that'll be his level 3 or something.
I seriously dislike keep away style of play, Freeza is somewhat annoying in this regard. I'm all about that rushdown, granted I killed myself for rushing in but players who just spent the entire run away are just annoying. Once you got them pin down they don't know what to do.

I feel like coming in from Smash 4 granted me the patience of a saint in this game tbh. If this game's Freeza is annoying than Toon Link is the seventh circle of Hell

From what I've seen in that trailer, Broly having a command grab that ends with a sliding knockdown is way more manageable than A16's bullshit 236L. I'm ok with Broly having armored moves since they've said that his movement is slow. I'm starting to think that Broly is the character that A16 should've been from the beginning.
I'm more curious to see what they're doing with Bardock though. They did a good job at making all three Gokus quite different, so I'm intrigued. Part of me wants them to give Bardock a lockdown assist so that every team online ends up having TWO Gokus instead of just Black, because that would be hilarious. I'm actually a big fan of how all these Gokus are pretty much the anime version of MK's ninjas.

They got the dunk part right but yeah where's the epic body slam from the movie?
