So what's great about Nurse Love? Will people who cringe at some of the Japanese anime games super cringe at this, or does it have broad appeal?

Such broad appeal ;)

Alrighty then.. very glad I asked.

I'm just at a spot where I need to be able to explain it to my kids if they ask. That's my prism at this point. If they walk in and I'm playing a violent game, I can work with that.

That though... I've got nothing for that.

Has that happened before? They walked in on you playing a game with questionable subject matter not easily explained.

Don't sweat it, he probably mixed you up with someone else ^^

Thanks, man. I hope so cuz this really felt a bit unfair. :-/ (I mean, yeah, I know I voiced some dissatisfaction at the lawyering up-thing because that's really not a development between indie publishers I like to see.....but seriously, I'm pretty much LRG defense force in other circles and this was a kick in the balls, kinda)

Regarding next Fridays line-up:

I'm down for "Kero Blaster", of course. On the fence about the other two...

NLA: I can't say I've played any visual novel yet although "Steins;Gate Zero" is around here somewhere. Anyway, I find the setting and the apparent topics interesting, and I'm tempted to give it a shot.
Haha. A shot. Like ....a nurse would give you. Good one. :)

TOT: I have no idea. It looks like a peculiar little game that could be nice to have and to fire up every now and then....extremely retro, of course. My problem with this one is that I have no emotional connection to the original "Oregon Trail" so there's no nostalgia bonus for me....this game would have to stand on its own for me. Just checked out a video and I'm totally torn.

There will also be games on May 30, yes? Several, most likely? (probably way too early to even guess)

My school didn't have Oregon Trail, so it's a pass for me. I only heard it existed when it start getting meme'd, since I didn't get it :/

You mean March 30th? If so our first Switch release is on that day!

Wasn't able to get Super Hydorah :(

I had signed in with PayPal and when I went to checkout it said that I was inactive and said that it logged me out. So I signed out and signed back in and still got the same thing. Anyone else have this problem before?

Yep, got the same paypal issue. Signed in 2 minutes before on the paypal site and got the inactivity message.
Had to select regular checkout and afterwards select paypal, which logged me in as normal.

Oh sweet! Can't wait to start a whole new collections set. :D

(Well, collection set sounds a bit wrong since I aim to play every game that I'm getting ;) )

Welp. At the last minute, I started to hesitate on Super Hydorah, so I obviously missed it.

I also previously missed Maldita Castilla EX (PS4) on play-asia. I guess I'm just not lucky with Locomalito's games.

They have certainly walked in when I was playing something that I wouldn't let them play, yes. However I'm careful not to view/play stuff that's egregiously offensive or anything like that. Obviously it's easier on a handheld than the TV, but kids are going to be curious about stuff that is off limits.

They're in that in between age where there's really very little privacy unless the bedroom door is shut (and that's iffy) or they simply aren't home. There's very little point in buying stuff I can't play with them because I don't get much time otherwise.

Anyways, wasn't trying to be judgmental. I just view some things differently than I did pre-kids. I'd just heard so much about that particular game that I was thinking it must have more of a mainstream approach.

So it's the devs that need to take it to ESRB, and not you guys as the publishers?

(I will patiently await the news of the others.... Any vague hints if we may possibly look forward a certain fandisc as well?)
If you're referring to Another Episode it's included in the Collected Edition for the Vita, along with an exclusive scenario set after the main story. Apologies if I'm way off and you're talking about something else.

Oh really? Even better! Since Mangagamer was finishing up that scenario for Steam, I was wondering if that was why it's been taking so long to announce officially.

Missed Fallen Legion (Vita). First title I've missed...

Look forward to the next blowout sale, where all remaining stock must go.

Mega bundle still there...

(Or you can request a waiting list thingie).

Also these to consider.

Ah dang... :(

I'm surprised it went so quickly honestly based on this morning.

I find things go slower in the morning, thus easier to get. Despite people's opinions on Fallen Legion, both versions sold relatively fast in the morning. Considering peoples waning interest in Vita titles, the Vita version sold really well, in under half an hour no less. It's not strange to me that the afternoon batch would go the way it did. A physical Fallen Legion on Vita is better than none at all, considering the recent trend of Vita exclusives ported and localized on other platforms. It's something I wanted for my Vita collection for a LONG time, I'm glad I got an order in. No regrets.

Thank you for your support!

Really, really trying to get better at communication as a whole and have our releases announced sooner. Can't tell you the struggle just to give everyone a 99% sure tip today.
Awesome. I was one of the people who got miffed over the the release of Night Trap as I felt that was handed poorly and I made my complaint known but since then, LRG has provided me a copy of the game and their releases seem far more on point and well managed. Just bought Lethal League after my previous post too.

Etc.

Precursor, in case you missed it: we're a licensed publisher of physical products on the Nintendo Switch. We'll even have our first release up for preorder this month!
The good news is that Nintendo Force picked up where Nintendo Power left off and we're excited to say that their next issue will include not only an interview with Limited Run co-founders Josh Fairhurst and Douglas Bogart but a huge exclusive reveal of a game we're bringing to the Nintendo Switch, both physically and digitally.

Bump

Every Friday release seems to be back in stock in very limited quantity right now (showing 5-10% remaining stock)

Yay!

Bonus: This is the first out of 5 LRG PS4 releases I've gotten that isn't loose in the box. I might actually leave it sealed because of this.

For $5, I think I'll give this a shot. I used to love getting Nintendo Power back during the Snes/64 days, and Game Informer doesn't scratch the same itch.

i'm guessing we'll find out what's in the Nurse Love Addiction CE today?

also on the same note i went looking round the LRG to look and found myself looking at the upcoming releases and saw they have 9 VNs (3 of those are 1 game with 3 parts) in the list, god help me if they release some of them when it's busy season
