We already have an entire week most months where they pick a game of their choosing a month and picking Survive worked out worse than the Patron choices, so I completely and utterly disagree. Especially with the next game being Kirby because that demons great. Co-op might save it at least.
Kyle said he was going to put in a choice to every poll and pulled it because he liked the options that were getting into polls.
Meh. If they put in a slot for something they want into a vote as opposed to not doing a vote at all, I don't see the problem.
I'm just not sure what it would change. Yes, PSABR is a bad game but nothing was going to beat out designing something.
Huber said he wanted to see a new character and story, but thought Dontnod would ultimately go with recurring characters. Kyle bet against him, so it's Huber who has to dress up.
If I remember that podcast right, it seemed like Huber told Jones earlier in the episode he thought it would be new characters, then when it came time for the bet he took the opposite stance.
Yeah, I watched the episode where the bet came from the other night when someone linked it in here, and since Huber was saying he was sure it would have new characters, I thought that was the side of the bet he took, but he flipped his stance at the end to take the bet against Bosman lol. He is going to have to dress up as the new character from LiS 2 and post selfies online haha.
I just watched it, Jones asked (paraphrasing) "do you want new characters, and do you think it will be the same cast again?" and Huber said yes to both so I can see why it's confusing lol

Which is problematic because he's not judging this design lab. Have to wonder if a lot of Patrons didn't read the description before voting.
That's what happened for me anyway (I didn't know Don wasn't judging until I read it properly afterwards). That said, I still think it can be a good stream (and I would probably voted for this idea with or without Don anyway), so I am probably going to leave my choice.
Also, as far as the people not liking the choices go:
That happened a few times before for me as well. I don't see a problem with that.
If something like that happens for me and I really don't like the options for the stream or what is chosen for the stream, I would either not watch the stream or have it on in the background while playing something else.
(that said, I like the banter/interaction between the allies most and am not always watching for the game/gameplay anyway to be honest)

That sounds nice, but I don't think it ever got to poll round (matbe once?). It is possible I would vote for that option if it was available, but I don't think the majority would.
I don't like the way things have to be voted on before the poll fase on patreon as the heart sometimes gets put on other games (because of the annoying scroling system patreon has, I really hate that type of loading on websites with a passion), but in the end it's the majority votes that win.
I don't see how people can be against a community choice. I don't agree with the things that are chosen sometimes, but there isn't much more of an honest way to do this.
Nope. I know it's not even that relevant anymore since Kyle isn't playing Yogalla in season 2, but I'd still like to see it, if it's any good.
I honestly have less time to watch YouTube these days, so I have no problem with just skipping a group stream if I find it boring. EZA are putting out more than enough content for me to keep up with, so a game that I'm not interested in winning every now and again isn't a big deal for me.
But then again, the group streams go live at like 2AM for me, so I can understand people who usually watch it live being a bit more disappointed.

Generally I would agree with you, I do the same. If no one raves about the stream afterwards in regards to "normal ass"-group streams, I rarely bother, but for the majority the fact that it is one of the few opportunities (in relation to overall output) to see them together is probably more of a sticking point than anything else.
I usually give every group stream a chance, but if it's still boring to me around 30 minutes in, I tend to check out haha. I get what you mean about it being an opportunity to see the group together, though.
I watch (almost?) all of them, although I have a tendency to have it on in the background.
I usually watch/listen to them during the weekend as they start at 3AM for me, so watching them live only happens when I have holidays (and if I remember it beforehand).

I would watch more group streams if I could watch them live but being from the UK that isn't viable. I usually watch a little bit on Wednesday morning to get a feel for what went on but that rarely extends to a full viewing. An exception is the HOGs which I always watch all the way through. Some tournaments grab me too. My favourite live content that EZA do is the Q&A and I can watch that as it happens. Also the Gundam stream is good for me.
Not with Frame Trap, it's up as soon as Ben is done exporting like with Brandon on the main podcast with the tight turnaround. It's either be late like this, or put it as a specific time, but be later in the week. And I prefer having it ASAP.
It's another 3 hour beast (FUCK YEAHHHHHHH) so these things... They take time.

There hasn't been ONE AAA Battle Royale game released. Not one! We haven't even gotten an early access release from a big dev other than Fortnite which has been out for months.
The market for these types of games is so young. We're just getting started. Look at Hunt: Showdown! It's not a BR game but it has BR elements.

I did name the video that has it "I play by myself" for a reason. Too big of a deal to have it not be easily searchable. It is actually the first result that comes up on youtube if you search for "I play by myself" or "play by myself"
